Your plants are gorgeous, your dress is gorgeous, you look like a Disney Jungle princess. Also, this video was EXACTLY what I was looking for I got some tradescantia cuttings from a swap and I had no idea how to care for them or propagate them. Thank you so much for this.
You are so clear with talking about caring for plants! :) Thank you! You're house is absolutely gorgeous. I'm only sixteen but I hope my future home looks lovely, like yours, when I am older!
Nice! I just bought a tiny tradescantia last week after seeing yours in a previous video. It's only 3 cuttings of lilac but I love the idea of mixing them with a different color variety. Now I'll be on the lookout for another. Thanks for all the tips!
beautiful trails!! :) fyi - i learned the green vines are that color because initially they were hidden and not getting enough sun. once green, they will continue to grow in that color. i purchased an 8" pot and snipped off all the green and grew them in a separate pot. i will admit though that having a bit of green can be a nice contrast to make the pink and white leaves stand out more. love your plants!
I bought a small tricolor in a 2 inch pot in April and it took me forever to figure it out and get it happy. Not sure why as they aren’t too tricky. Now that it isn’t just trying to survive it is finally starting to grow quicker! It is far from being the plant I want but it will get there. I bought it for my daughter as she enjoys helping me take care of my garden and house plants. She is barely 2 but you got to start em young! 😄 thank you for this video!
I'm glad to hear its on the right track! It will be trailing in to time they grow so fast! its almost unbelievable lol. & that is awesome I wish I was taught at a young age! Thank you so much for watching!
What causes brown spots or edges to the Tradescantia plant. Mine is beautiful and full but I do get those crispy spots. Thank you for your video on this plant.
Awesome video. Very well explained. I was searching High and low for a video that actually showed the area/window that you keep your tradescantia. Would have loved to know the names of the types of tradescantia you have. 👍🏽👍🏽🙌🏼😊
Thanks for excellent information about this plant. I wasn't sure how to root this plant. Now, I can start trimming mine's. Extra gifts for Birthdays too.
ah i’m so happy you did this video and talked about these besuited plants🥰🌿 they are so beautiful! I currently only have one and she’s a little little tiny baby currently, i hope she thrives like yours! I’ve had my eye out for others for quite some time💜🌿

Hi. I know this is an older video, but it just came up for me today (which I find funny that it is almost 2yrs to the day. Lol). I have a question about your hanging plants and watering. Do you take them down to water them? I noticed the drip trays on the bottom and was wondering as I think if I didn't take mine down to water, I would make such a mess. Also, I am in Newfoundland, Canada and we do have 4 true seasons, sometimes all in the one day. Lol.
Love your video!! Do you mind sharing how you water yours? I mist spray my tradescantia tricolor every morning and notice some of the stems and leaves are rotten from being too wet
Hi! In my experience they do not like wet leaves, they will rot. I bottom water all my indoor tradescantias when they are dry, very careful to not get the leaves wet. Hope this helps!
I just happened across you & I’m so glad 😁 I was gifted a green/silver Tradescantia during a plant swap (pretty burgundy color on leaves undersides) It grew like crazy, so I trimmed it, the cuttings had plenty of root nubs but it just didn’t seem to want to propagate in moist soil. In a vase of water they shot out roots like crazy tho.. I thought it odd, and wanted to make sure I wasn’t doing something wrong? It appears I’m not tho lol Thank You so much for the info 😁
I have a burgundy and she has lots of healthy growth but it looks all clumpy. And I feel like there are lots of leaves that dry out and wondered if they don’t like getting wet?
Hey :) I have a question: I want to give my Tradescantia fluminensis a little shower to clean the leaves a bit. Does the plant like it or is it a no go to give it a shower. Thanks for your answer in advance :)
I’ve found that it all depends on how much light it’s receiving. If you want to keep the variegation I’d keep it close to a window so it can receive more light. The less light this plant gets the new growth will revert to green. Hope this is helpful💖
Oh no🥺 sometime it may take awhile for them to root out especially if they went through the stress of being cut and going through the mail. How long have they been in water?

Beauty everywhere! I'm working on propagating. BTW, instead of trade-scantia, it's tra-des-can-tee-ah.
Thank you for correcting the pronunciation correction, it was hurting my ears👍

Great video ❤️
Will the branch that you actually cut keep growing or does it stop after it’s cut?
New growth will come out of stem just above the cut point. I hope that makes sense lol.
Thank you!! I love your style of video and aesthetic 😍
Thank you so much!!!💖
I have a burgundy and she has lots of healthy growth but it looks all clumpy. And I feel like there are lots of leaves that dry out and wondered if they don’t like getting wet?
They dont, bottom wattering its better or just try to not wet the leaves
Thank you!
Do your plants ever attract gnats? How would you get rid of them?
Hey :)
I have a question: I want to give my Tradescantia fluminensis a little shower to clean the leaves a bit. Does the plant like it or is it a no go to give it a shower. Thanks for your answer in advance :)
I’ve heard the leaves don’t .Ike water..will rot
Can you please share which brand of fish emulsion you use?
Great video thank you!
Awesome video and I really love your beautiful voice!! :D
thank you for the tips!
I killed my tradescantia nanouk, is it ok with jungle floor potting mix or only can survive with regular potting mix ?
I love your dress 😍
My problem with my Tradescantia plant (Pink or lilac wandering dew) is, some of the leaves becomes green, im asking how to avoid these?
I’ve found that it all depends on how much light it’s receiving. If you want to keep the variegation I’d keep it close to a window so it can receive more light. The less light this plant gets the new growth will revert to green. Hope this is helpful💖
how do you care for the Maranta

Love your videos!!!
Thank you so much!💖
What do I do after it is done blooming?
verry nice thank you
Whats the fertilizer, fishemotion ? 🤔
I cant figure out why my plant dies ever winter when I bring it inside
I have the exact same problem, it may be lack of light.
What was that fertilizer you said you use?
Fish emulsion
I got a tradescantia cutting in the mail. I tried putting it in water and soil and it doesn't seem to be working :'(
Oh no🥺 sometime it may take awhile for them to root out especially if they went through the stress of being cut and going through the mail.
How long have they been in water?
@@briellemariesandra About a week or so? It has crispy tips so I don’t think that it’s going to make it
Soil mix. Please
What if the name of the fertilizer you use.?
I use the fish & guano fertilizer and I also like to use worm castings 💖
That was unintentional ASMR for plant people
I really like you ! You are so beautiful ❤️ thank you for the tips love
You are so beautiful 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
🙈
You’re so sweet! Thank you💖
You did not show the roots grow at the end. I didn't like it it was too long and you didn't show us what it can do in the water or soil🤔
You look like a plant ☺
