I’ll be 53 in August. When I was 24 my dad passed at 45. I’d just built a house next to my parents on land that they’d given me when I got married and had my first of 3 kids. Seeing your reverence and respect for your dad just warms my heart deeply ! The stories you’ve told about your dad getting on you when you worked for him at a young age have always stuck with me ! And you already know the only reason he comes to do projects is to see you. That’s priceless ! Just thought I’d share my thoughts. Take care Joe
OH, my gosh, Joe. This is the first video that showed more of your dad close up, and I did not realize how much you favor him in face, frame, height, and in the way both of you stand. The apple did not fall far from that tree I'll tell you. And in talents and work ethic, you two are also the same. AND both of you talkers! Many thanks for this video and sharing your talented artist dad with us.
Ok Joe, you know I have a soft spot for your dad. My father is 94, he drives , cuts his lawn and is very aware. Don’t wait, tell your dad how you feel. Not once but every chance you get. You are the product of hard work and discipline, that doesn’t just happen! Thank you for sharing these moments with us. We have all learned to love your dad through your videos.
Joe your father did an awesome job with that rifle and doing the case for the rifle it’s nice to see how old are years and he building gun cases rifle cases at his age and a brand new rifle you should be proud of your dad You can learn from your dad
My dad passed when I was 5. As a kid growing up and listening to my mates talking about their dad's I just couldn't imagine what that was like to have a dad to talk to. I didn't get invited to many birthday parties as I was known as the widows kid. Guess it was my mum being single was treated as a threat to the other kids mums back in the 60's. Lucky my grandfather in New Zealand payed off our home so we were lucky there. Life growing up in Australia in those days was fantastic. You are a lucky man Joe! Cheers, Musashi
You are so lucky to be able to preserve some of your dad’s stories on video! Wish I could have done the same with my parents and grandparents. My grandma was the best storyteller!
You got to love the upper Midwest! In South Central Wisconsin the week has been in the 80's, now we have rain and 3-6 inches of snow coming by Monday! Your dad sure did a nice job on the case! You are lucky to have him still with you!!! My dad was a wood worker as well, he made functional miniatures of construction equipment out of wood.
You're so lucky that you still have both of your parents, I lost my mom when I was 32 and dad when I was 36. Your dad cracks me up, I hear him say funny things when he's telling his stories and today was a funny one. I had to replay it a couple times to make sure I heard him correctly, and he did, in fact, say holy balls. LOL He's a treasure!
You know how people say "I can't wait until I can see the finished product"? Well I tell them "Yes you can, You don't have any choice". That project is looking good. Your father does good work. Yes years ago we would just replace the solenoid and the starter would be to go. Some times the bendix.
Hi Joe, I just want to say I really enjoy your videos, you do a great job at them and I know they are not easy to make. Watching this video and others of you and your dad, I can see the love that you have for him. I have the same loving relationship with my dad as you do. You are a very caring person and it shows. Have a great day and god bless!
I don't think my son would have patients with me on my projects like you do, even though he has 4 beautiful Children and a Beautiful wife, what time " AH" Thanks. My Son keeps in touch with me all the time, the Old Man. Thanks Again and Thumbs Up!...
Always love seeing your Dad stopping by and your Dad, does such beautiful work, his gun case is a beautiful piece of art. Question: Is the gun in the case is he going to put together or is it a prototype? Also is it black powder? Sorry don't know much about old guns. Hi to Melissa and blessings to all.😊🇺🇲
His story about the electric fence to the forehead. It happened to me too. The barn yard had flooded about foot deep in the late spring and there was a "fence" going over it from the top of the pig house to the fence on the other side of the barn yard. Well my feet were in the water and my forehead hit the fence,. I woke up some time later. luckily Dad had saw it. Like he said, I don't remember a thing other than stars.
Joe, I'm wondering if you would turn that floor pad around so that it would be out of the way from tripping over the bad spot. I know you might not trip over it but I'm more worried for your Father as he isn't in the workshop that much.
I am not sure, I would have to ask my Dad. I have a muzzleloader but have not used it much. My dad has several and has shot them a lot. He has hunted with them in a few different states as well. He would know. I will have to ask him.
At least you don't have to go to some Fitness center to keep in shape with cutting fire wood, snow removal and basic things, then video content, Thumbs Up to you and your support people, all of you, Thanks!....
Next time you get sap hands!!! I know everyone has an answer like rubbing your body in peanut butter ect lol. Rubbing alcohol works great for me. I use that on my vehicle when nedded. Safe enough for paint, safe enough for me lol.
I thought it was a oxen yoke but not sure . Without a close up view. Thanks for letting me know. Enjoy your channel and Zacks. Wished to see your wife's son Brandon in your videos
When your dad comes you should take him out to eat or fire up your grill. Spend all the time you can with him and mom and enjoy them. Once there gone joe you'll know what I mean. Friends that are your father you can't beat it. Cherish it. I miss mine terribly. So I hope you enjoy them. I think you do .what happens to your hair cut ya hippy lol

I agree. The only reason he comes is to see his son.❤
You never forget, that’s a tribute in itself. I’m sure you father is very proud of who you have become.

That was class.
Joe reminds me of Colin Ferguson,an actor! That's meant as a compliment. I've never seen either in person, may be different!!
Hey Joe 🌅 hoping g the sun comes out and melts the snow away ! Tell your dad and Mellisa hello from Nebraska 😂
Joe if you get this message ,I want to see the beer neon lit up in a video
Wow. Look at the Snow!
Brother we need a video of him shooting it .... That's long looks like a two person gun 😂 keep it up brother love it.....

How far can that round travel down range with that nice piece? Nice.

Awesome video of y'all! Very nice gun case! How's that chevy holding up? LOL
Joe now that you got rid of that curb in the shop when are ya going to fill in the ditch it made ?
Lol. I have about 500 things on my list of "urgent and has to be done" before I get to filling that in. All I can say is "eventually."
careful using foam I had a gun rust real bad with foam . Use a gun sock inside the case
Joe, are you still going to be working construction full-time when it warms up?
Omg, that is so beautiful. Joe is that functional gun, and if so what kind?
Joe you should really think about going on Tik Tok and doing lives on there you would probably get twice the followers
Next time you get sap hands!!! I know everyone has an answer like rubbing your body in peanut butter ect lol. Rubbing alcohol works great for me. I use that on my vehicle when nedded. Safe enough for paint, safe enough for me lol.
Your gun case is like cooking a fine steak or a country stile pork rib mashed potatoes baked beans corn 🌽 garlic bread with ❤😮
Does that outside boiler use a lot of power. Will the generator run it. Thanks
Joe question for you what is that hanging above the window. Where you're Dad is working on the gun.
Over the window? Its used to yolk two animals side by side.
I thought it was a oxen yoke but not sure . Without a close up view. Thanks for letting me know. Enjoy your channel and Zacks. Wished to see your wife's son Brandon in your videos
