I once was on a road, an asphalt paved street in a high part of a city that half climbs up onto several hills, it was after a few days of heavy rainfall, in the morning but with a slight rain. As I left to cross the hill and cycle along for 140km it started seriously raining and as I was climbing the streets, suddenly water started rushing down. Literally in about 10 seconds it was a few centimeters deep around me and there were rocks and branches being rolled down in the water. I realized this is a flash flood happening right in front of my eyes so I just turned around and rushed down the hill in a race with the raging water behind.
Damn that is some tough terrain. Hats off for taking the effort to set up the camera for those shots. You won’t regret a drone purchase. That is unless you crash it into the jungle like I did a few weeks back 😭
