"I'd want to be born once more as myself, but more talented." -Akira Toriyama
so dragon ball can finally have some story line
🫥🫥🫥@@Viper_2312
Sometimes I wish I was born again with the knowledge I have now to make the right decisions from the start...
@@Viper_2312it had a storyline lmao
What a guy
At this point I don't care about the food I'm here for his personality and voice
yeah i'm just here for the jokes and shit
that makes it sound like you're in love

An NPC made me cry...
Dragon ball is the reason I started watching anime and my life is changed since then.
Thank you for all your teaching Toriyama Sensei
that ending is one of the sweetest and most genuine things i have seen in a while. thank you Canoe and RIP Mr. Toriyama. you were an excellent man
Your singing moved me to tears 🥺😰
Mr Toriyama has got moved to tears too, in heaven
I wanted to remove my ears
in which way?
Never heard the voice of an angel, thought it was a myth, I stand corrected
i was traumatized too
The ending was so sweet, I appreciate you talking about his legacy, and your food didn't look too bad this time haha ^^
are you sure about that
You do know he can actually cook right, and what he does is show how moronic people are thinking they are fancy when they go to "Michelin" or fancy restaurants..It's nothing special.
@@PrinceKumar-ks2nmyes❤
The singing made me cry. You did so well for this dishes. RIP Akira Toriyama
episode right after my heart ❤ keep doing what you do and keep monotone and without triggers
Thank you 🙏
The thing I least expected in my life was to cry to one of FutureCanoe's videos.
same fr
I think we need therapy :/
i wasn't crying i just had something in both of my eyes
You n me both
😢 i cry every time watching him cook
This time it was different
I thought i had processed my grief over his passing but seeing your tribute to him was bittersweet. Thanks for honoring him in your own way and thank you for keeping us entertained.
Bro this made me cry. Dragon ball was my whole childhood. Keeps me motivated to this day
Evil FutureCanoe be like, "Today, I'll make delicious food with good plating!"
But really, this was really touching dude. Thank you for doing what you do. May you rest in peace Akira Toriyama.
RIP Akira Toriyama
Crazy how an NPC made me cry more than anything I've watched this month. Rest in peace, Toriyama.
That message at the end was so heartfelt and timely. Enjoy the process, don’t be overly focused on the end result guys. ❤
The clumping is because you're not using day old rice, the outside of it hasn't dried out properly.
No wok? You fuked up
and he didn’t wash it 💀
Chilling it changes the starch as well, allowing it to separate easier
yeah you can get away with using fresh rice as long as you wash it really well. not washing *and* not drying will make you have a bad time
@@trentthompson6996 I don't know what type of rice he buys but the bag that I buy says to not wash it in the directions. I assume at least this brand already does the washing for you.
"And the way she pressures her son..." Sounded like it brought him memories, therefore I'm assuming he is of chinese descent.
This man is definitely of asian descent. Which one? Dunno.
ikrr but to think he didn't washed his rice 😂
He had the spice mix for veitnamese (specifically!!)pho on hand which inclines me to believe he's veit
Yes probably asian
@@oreo_6206I mean, I’m French as hell and I have that stuff on hand
Futurecanoe... I didn't ever even watch episode of dragon ball z but man that last message hits...
Thankyou...
May Akira Toriyama's soul rest in peace...
I was a huge Dragon Ball fan growing up with my cousins. We’d watch it all the time. We had action figures and video games. I even found a ‘how to draw dragon ball GT’ book in storage the other day. When my cousins and I heard the news about Toriyama, we were heartbroken. He gave us so many stories and characters to bond over. The ending of this got me. So many memories flew by in a second. Great video 🙏🏽
Didn’t expect such a heartfelt tribute to one of the greatest mangaka ever. 💜
And now I want pork buns. 😭
Babe wake up, FutureCanoe just made more radioactive food
This one looks like gas station bathroom's unflushed turds with the left over mop water and radium green brocoli...
10/10 thumbnail in my opinion ❤
Didn't expect to be crying today but still thank you for your videos FutureCanoe. They bring me joy and comfort. ❤
I love how touching and thoughtful the lessons here are. Topically, it’s about being silly and cooking food. But below that there’s always so much inspiration and motivation you can’t help but smile. Thank you Mr Canoe

This is a beautiful Homage to Toriyama. And as always a Amazing Video. #RIPTORIYAMA
The rice clumping is more because it's fresh cooked rice. Leftovers that been in the fridge don't clump as much.
This was the best homage to the passing of the legendary Akira Toriyama's legacy and I'm honestly so glad I subbed to you now. I hope you go far Canoe!
Hearing you sing brought tears to my eyes. My ears haven't hurt this much in my entire life
Your voice make the tribute at the end more emotional. As a dragon ball fans, I'm crying. Thank you 🕊🍅
This tribute was beautiful, and the food looks straight out if the anime! RIP Akira Toriyama
An amazing tribute to such a titan of pop culture. Dragon Ball is eternal and inspired so many of us.
Thank you, Canoe. May Akira be at peace in Other World ❤️💛💙
Also, out of all of the UA-camrs I subscribe to you gave Toriyama the best eulogy. Thank you.
This is probably the most effort you've put into a video. Good job Mr Canoe.
And great tribute as well💜
Yo im tearing up, and its not because of the cooking or the singing. Your speech in the end was encouraging and heartwarming, thanks for creating this in memory of Toriyama ❤
What a beautiful tribute. Thank you for your time and efforts
Thank you for making this, Future Canoe. Toriyama will be missed and a culinary eulogy is a great way to remember him.
Also, I cant believe you'd let a shrimp fry rice.
Hey Future Canoe next time you make Bao Buns use some oil or cooking spray on the paper to prevent the buns from sticking. Thanks for always posting bangers, love ya
Rest in peace Akira sensei and thanks for making my childhood amazing.
The first anime i watched was dragon ball z in 2003 back when i was 4 and it's still close to my heart to this day...
0:10 - BEST INTRO EVER.
Stayed for the tribute. 👏
I never expected to cry to FutureCanoes video, thank you, RIP the legend :(
Your unexpected comment on enjoying the process was exactly what I needed to hear right now.
Thanks for being such a relatable and enjoyable content creator!
RIP Akira Toriyama (i never watched DBZ, but i know the man was very influential to lots of people.)
This tribute was absolutely beautiful, I never thought I'd cry in a future canoe video. Thank you for this. toryama truly was one of the greats
Great vid man really happy you made this rest in peace Toriyama
My favourite Toriyama tribute I've seen so far. Keep on keepin on, dude.
that singing gave me chills
Yeah chills of dread
thank you for making this video, it brought me to tears once again. Keep on fighting!
Thank you for making this tribute Futurecanoe. RIP Akira Toriyama.
In my opinion, futurecanoe is just a very shy master chef who is under a lot of pressure to make videos... this is proven by the masterpieces he creates off camera
Rip Akira toriyama he made something that will forever bring happiness to people all around. And btw good radioactive cooking
Actual lore for Future Canoe, damn. Great video as always man, Keep it up. Food looks really good!
I was not expecting this work of art. Fantastic effort & beautiful tribute to Toriyama❤️
The end nearly made me cry wth
Thank you for this beautiful Homage to Akira Toriyama❤🥰
RIP Akira Toriyamau u are a legend FutureCanoe 💖
loving the end so much thank you futurecanoe for being my comfort person
Never expected to get goosebumps at the end of a futurecanoe video. Much Love xx
RIP Akira Toriyama
Thank you for speaking of Toriyama. I knew very little about him and his journey, but Dragonball had a big impact on my younger years. While interest in a subject is important, Dragonball teaches us not just to do what we love but to love what we do. Sometimes a simple perspective shift can turn things around :) R.I.P. Akira Toriyama
Im so glad I watched this video. This was a journey for you and us, making terms with toryama and his legacy. As a foody I really enjoyed the effort and heart you put into this dish, tho some might see it as effortless when you mix too much spices in for example. But I see it as it is. Appreciation of simple cuisine and the way it goes when cooking as the simple person we all are. Nothing else than respect for your work. Also leaving the ligma fork out for respect of the man himself didn't go unnoticed ❤
You're the first person I've seen do this. Toriyama died but nobody seemed to care.
Thank you so much.
I feel like Latin America felt way more his passing than other countries (except Japan)
Wait really? I thought it was trending on twitter/x?
I think that just shows what kind of people you follow. When he died it was trending everywhere for me and for days. (Brought up by the other comment as well.) Lots of youtubers and pages. (I mean its even in the news worldwide) Might start following people of the same kind as you
@@ChickenHootdog I know right. The economic times, BBC, Associated Press, The Guardian even freaking CNN covered the story. I think the guy just wanted to some attention for himself by saying that.
@@Marcus-gw4bbI didn't want attention. I didn't even expect to get any.
I'm aware that news like The Guardian reported on it. That's how I learned about it.
What I meant is that no other person in the calibre of FutureCanoe did anything like this video. At least, nobody I follow.
I'm not on social media like Twitter, TikTok or whatever. I'm only on UA-cam and some forums. I went to a Discord group I'm in and said that Toriyama died when I did learn it, but literally nobody even bothered to reply to me even though I knew every single person there. This is more or less what I meant by "but nobody cared" part.
Please don't automatically assume ill of me. I was just happy to find something like this. I cried because of the ending and wrote this comment.
I was never a big fan of dragon ball but I really appreciate you making this video!
Never thought I'd be in tears from a FutureCanoe video, but here I am. This was a beautiful tribute to Toriyama ❤

Thar was wholesome actually..
It's very nice, that he has a little storytime in some of his videos.
That's what i like about this channel. Is that is more relatable and sometimes, like this one, he really sounds sweet. Is very nice of him for honouring the memory of the Dragon Ball Z creator like that.
I seen the show few times and i can see why it became such a big thing, is really entertaining.
Also the food here actually looks good i must say.
Rest in peace Akira Toriyama. Your memory that inspiried millions will last forever. ❤️

Rest in peace to a man who had a hand in guiding many of our childhoods.
RIP Akira Toriyama, he will live on as legend.
I’ve liked your videos for almost a year now. You are awesome. Also using that master Roshi picture made me feel something because it’s been my phone screen for three years 💪🏻
I am here for the insane level of effort that goes into these videos, the humor, the lack of classism (which is hard to find with youtube cooking videos like struggle meal series is always wholesome), and I’ve learned a lot. 10/10. Just like a down to earth neat channel
14:42 why did i start crying, that hit so bad :C

Yo you’re such a great guy - thanks for being so sincere. This community you’ve created owes you a lot and you’re doing something special and important for us. I appreciate you !
Also thanks for being such a real one about New York 🙏 I live here too and knowing you’re around, doing your thing, makes the city feel whimsical rather than … all the other New York things. Also, come uptown sometime 😘 Harlem has incredible food and very few tourists 🤭
almost teared up...didn't think one of your videos could do that...salute to Toriyama Akira...dragon ball will always hold a special place in my heart....

15:19 - 16:06. I never realized how this was such a huge part of my childhood. It honestly made me think of all the people I watched this with after school. It made me wonder where they are now and how we've not checked in with each other in a long time. Damn, you really made me cry. Thank you❤
