The thing is, if your device can’t update to iOS 10 to go back to iOS 8.4.1 (the only version with EtasonJB jailbreak), you will need another way to have untethered (!) jailbreak on your version (that being said, iOS 9.1 and up don’t have untethered jailbreak). Note, jailbreak from Pangu may not work with CoolBooter:

Well, not everything I installed before, many games I just sideloaded. You can use Veteris as an on-device App Store alternative or just use computer + 3utools to sideload .ipa files

@@Bohdan_HI-TECH I have an IPad 2,4 there is no way to downgrade to iOS 6 because these Product type shipped with iOS 6 (Mid 2012) which means there is no signed Ipws for these Model
@@MohamedAli-br1be You didn't mention you have '2,4' model. Yes, indeed, iPad2,4 is not supported by Legacy iOS Kit - but not because iOS 6 is not signed. It is because it is not supported by Legacy iOS Kit method.
iPhone 4S and iPad 2 (except iPad2,4) can be downgraded to iOS 6 with Legacy iOS Kit, even though iOS 6 is not signed anymore obviously

Hi, good video. Also, this is much better, you can tethered downgrade A6 devices with n1ghtshade. It is simple and full downgrade, only to boot your device after power off you will need a Mac. May be you can test it in your next video)

Back in the day HD (iPad) apps were different from iPhone ones. Search for iPad .ipa files
Does this work on a black iPhone 4? [not 4s]? Because my iphone 4 is running 7.1.2 and i wanna restore to 6 because 7.1.2 has a really long boot time and its pretty slow.
There are methods to actually downgrade iPhone 4 as well, try parrotgeek1/Pluvia
You can of course use coolbooter (if you have enough memory), but it is not really as great as real downgrade, so always try to find legit downgrade solutions first

If you didn't jailbreak during the Coolbooter installation, you can always use one of the available exploits; the easiest way will be to jailbreak using PC programs, such as 3uTools or anything similar

It's impossible, unfortunately. iOS 8 is needed to bypass Apple protection (so iOS 6 can be installed, but not downgraded), otherwise we could simply install iOS 6, but Apple will never allow this to do

Well, sometimes what I showed for iOS 10 -> 8 part can be unsafe, you can restore from DFU and start again, or choose another method (it's mentioned here, in video description)

Mac needed or can do with windows
This method doesn’t need a PC, it’s on device (except jailbreak, but it can be done on Windows). But here’s the thing, it’s not very stable sometimes and not very “clean” (however, alternative methods, like LeetDown or Legacy iOS Kit do require Mac)

Sometimes it just doesn't work, this method is the easiest, but neither the most reliable nor the safest one.

in settings go to general - reset - and hit reset all settings. after doing that, it fixed the issue for me

1 - It is not a downgrade
2 - iOS 6 was never available on iPad 7th, it's from 2012 and iPad 7 is from 2019
3 - Coolbooter only supports 32-bit devices
it's "safer" to use the iOS toolkit script as this will do a proper downgrade by formatting the NAND before restoring iOS 8 on it.

For every iPad it is different. On iPad 4/3 you can downgrade to iOS 8.4.1 using method in the video, in order to have untethered jailbreak (otherwise Coolbooter won't work). While on iPad 2 it is much better to have real iOS 6, using 3uTools to downgrade for example:

2.2.0-3.3.1 make sense on ipad 3 and 4 because it supports the retina display

@@Bohdan_HI-TECH sure, thanks, but there's another problem) do you know about ipa encryption? did you saw that "enter your Apple ID and password" sometimes when you launch an application? There was a glitch which allowed you to bypass that, but it stopped working.. so there's a chance that some ipa's will stay encrypted forever. If app store won't work again on iOS 6. Because that glitch worked on iOS 6 only... ......

@@mapperofalthistory03 You can't just connect to youtube using old version of its app, it has nothing to do with jailbreak. Some hacks will be needed, or you can watch youtube with Safari just fine.
If you're searching for simple ways - don't use iPad 4. Modern youtube works on iOS 11+ only!
