A couple weeks ago we tested Black Candy over different base colors. We asked which you wanted to see full scale, and sure enough you guys chose Carbon Red. Can't believe how awesome this came out! We really enjoyed this project and hope you did too. Do you want to see us play with candies more in future videos?
We did this video for fun, there has been no long term testing when using this Kandy Concentrate with DYC products. We can not confirm the lifespan or longevity of the product, or if it is suitable for use on your specific car. Attempting a candy paint job is difficult and should not be considered a beginner-safe project.

What are your thoughts on trying various texture underlays to experiment with how different hypershift paints might react/interact differently than they do on flat surfaces?
Something blue, not necessarily Carbon Blue, but maybe one of the other amazing Blue shades you have
Candy black over deep sea blue (dark sparkling blue)
blue base with candy red over the top

Or over the Leando Gray maybe. I know that's already a black/white mix, but I think the Kandy Black over that would really give it some depth.
They have a peelable chrome... That would look sweet with the black candy.

That is NICE! And the wheel color is a perfect accent.
I'd love to see another variant of this with a bright shifting colour underneath, on a car with really aggressive lines, this black makes the lines on the car pop. It would look awesome over a yellow/red shift, I think.

Thanks man I actually talked to them otp 3days ago when trying to order but it wouldn't go through bc I was ordering with a "paycard" (a card my job gave me to get payed on) when I've bought hundreds of thing online with that card but I'll load some money on my bank card and get it ordered ASAP👌🏼

That was gorgeous! I definitely want to see it over the Blue, though. The Silver would be great to see after the Blue. What an amazing difference it makes in the base color. Also, how much of the Black Kandy do you put in the clear? You usually tell us, but didn't see it in this one.

Ok, I'm looking at a bunch of old videos...I really like this color combo, kinds of like a sweet blackberry. I hate those wheels... For some reason they always look dirty, however! With this body color they really pop! Thanks for all the fun options!!

Very nice. I have a suggestion only because I'm extremely curious. On one of the speed thingies... You willing to do a Musou Black or whatever is the super black then out the black candy over it. (Curious if the extra black will seal it instead of ruin it)... And then maybe an super super neon green/glow green... with the black candy. Kinda similar to my favorite color. I painted a truck black and sprayed it with cotton candy flake. Then sprayed brandy whine over it. By far the moste awsome color I ever painted to date.

I still really want to see candy black over ZBR. With that black to red flip, witg the candy black, I feel like it could give that interference pearl effect, but on black, instead of white.
Going into this I thought it would look too much like the red/black color shift, but I even brought up that video and I was wrong. Totally different look and fade points. Love it!
