OMG, that base coat is GORGEOUS - that alone is a 5/5!!! But with the cyan flake its giving "Cosmic Abyss" vibes, without being too glittery or flashy about it! So altogether it's a 7/5 for me - LOVE IT!!❤😍🤩

I love how from a distance it’s not in your face but as you get closer it really pops! Great hyper shift and holographic pearl combination! 5/5 for sure
I really like this. I'd say a 4. The black to purple is such a serious look, and then you have the fun bass boat pop of the holographic flake. It repeatedly surprises that you can distinctly see both shifts at certain points instead of them blending together.

The chunky flake is SO good on this. Absolutely love the shifts from blue/green/teal into the deep purple.

2 completely different effects that work astoundingly well together. Definitely a 5. Out of all the samples, the car is the best.
It's wild how that flake looks kinda retro over the Pure Purple base, yet looks icy as hell over Anthracite.
Holy crap, I underestimated how awesome that was going to turn out. Crazy how so much purple popped out when it looked teal in the vial.
I had the urge to bit at my screen. looked like a grape laffy taffy w sprinkles.
On top of the anthracite is super sick!
At the end, only the white base coat resisted that flake, the rest, however, including the car color base were the best I’ve ever seen. Simply gorgeous!

That anthracite base is where it's at!
Almost doesn't matter what it is but anthracite is always in my top 3 bases

5 out of 5. I love when the base color stands on its own and Then upon closer inspection and different angles the pearls, metallics and color shifts are noticeable.
Im torn. but commenting. so clearly it made an impact. What I like? Its smooth transition from purple to green. What I dont like? The fleck. Its too reminiscent of my childhood days at the bowling alley and roller rink. The way it all breaks up under close scrutiny isnt my thing. That is a personal opinion. The application though is spot on. Fantastic!
That's a big brain move, having regular customers buy the powders you trial with to develop new combinations

5/5 I love how both effects come through really clearly without clashing. It's also interesting how up close the flake seems to dominate, but as you get further away the shift starts to take over.

That came out way better than I thought it would. Being designed for epoxy, I figured the flakes would be too big to look good, but dang!!!!❤❤ over the Hunter green base, it's giving luck o' the Irish vibes!!
This turned out so good, the anthracite base looks amazing!!!! would like to see that side by side with the black.

It is amazing how up close it sparkles like a Bass boat but from 20 feet you really don't see that - it's a little confusing and not for my car - but cool. 3/5

I love, love, love this combo! Plus for a first I thought it looked great over all of the speed shape colors! The red, white and blue remind of the tissue paper one would use the wrap gifts with or fill a gift bag 🎉.
over the hunter green would make a lovely st paddy's day theme
One thing I always find interesting is that most of these flakes on the speed shapes change colors depending on the base color. Like the red base this flake was no longer cyan/green. I am seeing gold, silver and a very slight hint of blue. Awesome!

I really like how the flake breaks up the black, and the purple pops right through. The flakes give you the gamut of color from yellow-green to cyan - a great compliment to the purple. I recommend to continue doing “you send it, we spray it” videos. This particular flake seems to go well with almost any color without overpowering the base color.

I love it! It looks like the carpet at a skating rink.
I love how the hypershift is most noticeable from far away, but close up it's the holographic that shines the most! Definitely a good learning experiment for intended effects.
Also damn anthracite and purple base looked SO good!

The black to purple shift is incredible. Throwing the flake on top of it is insane. Great colors.
I like the very separate defined effects. You get black, you get purple, you get green to teal holographic. Amazing
Absolutely gorgeous, doesn't look too crazy from far away, shows the color shift and gets sparkly as you get closer.
the end result looks totally amazing and honestly the holographic flakes look great with all but the white base in my honest opinion it gives the other colours a wow factor that they just don't have without it👍👍

5/5 for me. I like how it doesn’t really show from a distance, but up close it really sparkles. I like it a lot. And on the shapes that you showed at the end, it works really well on all of them except the white.

I've been watching for years. This is probably my favorite comb yet. Base coat along was sick.
Honestly amazed with how well that stuff sprayed. It sure did seem to sink fast. Figured it would be a pain to spray. Amazed how it completely vanishes in the black at some angles. At least on camera, it seems subtle from far away and then bass boat shine when up close. Also, love how it looks on the Flex Blue.
Not gonna lie, that looks pretty badass. "Move aside, bass boat comin' thru."

On a scale from 1 - 5, I'd give this a 5. Just wish you could see the flake more from a distance. Awesome suggestion Ryan! I do hope the DYC crew does more like this series. It's cool!

Damn, that's quite a feat. From far away it is all black/purple hypershift. Close up the cyan/green flake dominates. In between a nice mix. A trifecta of colors!
I absolutely love this. I love how the glitter shines. Beautiful job. Blue, green and yellow are my favorite colors on a car.
5 It even added a darker teal green on the extreme angle. Nice!

I live in the UK, but I hope someone over there sends you some retro reflective pigment.
It would look really good over white with a candy on top (I imagine 😊).
You would have to show what it looked like at night though, I would also have liked to have seen what this colour combination looked like under streetlights and with car headlights shining on it.
If Ursula and Arial mutated into one beautiful creature this is the color scheme they would be!!! I LOVE IT!!! The other bases are very unique too!!!!

I had to bust out laughing on this one! Ryan, this is EPIC! Thank you for sending in such a large flake to go on this. The colors mix in well, the effect of both the hypershift and the flake are spot on. My housemate says too much sparkle, but that's the point! It's crazy good and over the top. Definitely over 5. I'm going more 8/5. I love the hint of the teal shifting into the purple. Speed shapes show just how large these flakes are. I'm very much a fan of the anthracite, pure purple, and flex blue.

💜 I love that base color. For me, the teal was lost on the car and made it look to green; but overall a good combo.
I love it. At times it looks like it's a dark forest green then it turns to lighter greens to purple to pops of black. Wish car companies would paint cars colors like this.
5 for the idea but 3 for execution, I'm actually with Gabe on this one. I liked the first check on the stick of truth with the Galaxy look and feel where the flake was a bit more sparse. Cool idea though can't wait to see more!
