  • Scar tissues, remnants of past injuries or surgeries, can surprisingly contribute to chronic pain in some patients. Recognizing this connection can help validate your pain, which is an important step in the healing process.
    Remember, healing takes time. #shorts

    I have scar tissue from a time a tore into my thumb pretty bad, and the tissue is slightly painful and sensitive if something hits that spot abruptly.

    Hey Drew, my sister has had endometriosis surgery multiple times and at some point 2 of her internal organs fused together and had to be separated. She has chronic pain and flare ups in these areas. She also has shooting nerve pain flare ups and takes strong nerve blockers. It’s really debilitating for the last 7 years.
    Could peptides help these issues? What peptide treatments would you recommend?
    We’re based in New Zealand and the chronic pain specialists here have not been very helpful. There treatments are strong pain killers and nerve blockers. Useless.

    I have supraspinatus tendon in prosterior fibres, involving half of the thickness , 5mm length and 2mm wide reaching to brusal surface. Will the TB 500 help in healing ?

      Maybe, I don't know if that would be helpful for you or not. We only tend to use it when we have scar tissue/fibrosis.

    Dear Drew, do you advise to have some enzymes course (serrapeptase) before BPC-157 (to get rid at least of some scar tissue)? For some months, maybe. Or at the same time... ? I have peripheral nerves and muscles (atrophy) damaged (some parts of the body showed denervation without signs of reinnervation) from the inflammation from Covid + damaged by hypoxia. 3 years in now. Even extremely little physical effort (rather movement) damages my tissues more and more... It gets better with time but always attains a plateau (and then another damages from very little efforts occur repeatedly). I wonder if it plateaus because of scar tissue (and maybe damaged microvasculature). It is in all my body. Unfortunately, I live in France and can't see you in person:-( If a video consultation is possible, I'd be very happy. Thank you very much in advance,

    Does scar tissue cause tendon adhesions and gliding issues? If so would both prp and bpc 157 help reduce scar tissue and facilitate better tendon movement?

    • @DrewTimmermansND
      @DrewTimmermansND  Рік тому

      Yes it can. We use PRP as nerve and fascial hydrodissection to help with this. BPC-157 may or may not help with adhesions

    Does BPC-157 help with skin issues on the lips? My lips constantly peel and sometimes appear translucent. I was suggested BPC-157 because I also may have GI problems. Could you clarify or break down how this can help my lips get back healthy?

      Zero evidence it works in humans. Never been a single study. One study in rats 20 years ago. And I’m not a big pharma shill. I tried BPC for 3 months for torn tendon. It did precisely zero. It’s bro science being pushed by roided up meat heads

    Hi there Drew.
    Have you had any patients who have dysautonomia/pots syndrome due to instable neck ligaments or loss of curvature
    Is orosthatic hypotension(low blood pressure) something these patients have encountered
    Lastly can a person have neck instability but have no neck pain

      @DrewTimmermansND  Рік тому

      Yes we have and we have worked with these patients to help them, through cervical injections and getting them in with proper physical therapy. We also use a lot of peptides and supplements to help these patients heal

    Hi Doc! BPC and TB are usually touted as the best peptides for tendon repair, but have you seen Ghk-CU help at all?

    • @DrewTimmermansND
      @DrewTimmermansND  Рік тому

      We use GHK-Cu quite a bit, but not as much as BPC-157 and TB. It can be really helpful with collagen repair!

      I've got a long lecture on different peptides that can be used for chronic pain. We often use BPC-157, TB500 and sometimes GHK-Cu
