it annoys me that clem’s literally been the one getting shit done and bonnie still thinks clem hasn’t lifted a finger for the group, when she’s been the actual leech
A major issue with this season in general is how most of the time people act as though Clem is an adult rather than a kid. Its absolutely insane how anyone in the group should have any expectation from Clem to do anything, let alone get mad at her for not being able to save a full grown adult man who underneath a frozen lake.
Everyone: Clementine is just a little girl. Also everyone: Clem is the only one that can do this. Why tf is my baby girl the only person getting shit done in a group of adults?!?
When she blamed Clem for Luke's death and had the nerve to say we aren't expected to do anything? Are you blind? Clem has been doing everything. Y'all are dead without her.
And had the audacity to say that the situation they were in was Kenny's fault like she wasn't the reason they were kidnapped, imprisoned and the BIG reason on why Luke died because her dumbass thought walking on already cracking ice when all she had to do was let him crawl. On a good note, found out a way to kill her off! Just choose to cover Luke, when Bonnie and Luke fall into the ice, don't go to break it.
Even if it was actually Clem's fault (it isn't) What the hell did she expect would happen after putting all the work and responsibility on a literal child?
@@shawndougless3009 On top of that, Kenny was the only one who DIDN’T want to go along with Arvo’s plan and just get rid of him then and there. And who knows, maybe if that happened - Luke would still be alive.
@@scorpion6328 Kenny may be emotionally immature, but he’s always right 90% of the time. There was barely any food, the house was basically just pure foundation and on top of that, they had to traverse on fucking ice.
That one isn't on Arvo She's the one who tells Clem to walk on the BROKEN AND UNSTABLE ICE or go onto the ice herself depending on your choices IGNORING Luke's warning and not letting him get himself out of the situation. She's to blame for Luke's death. She either tells an 11 year old girl to walk on cracking ice which could get them both killed, or gets Luke killed herself by walking on it and not listening to him.
Bonnie: betrays Clem’s group after they give her food and she’s sees how kind Walter is. Bonnie: apologizes promising not to do it again. Bonnie: gets mad if Clem covers Luke doing what he asked. Bonnie: betrays AGAIN. Yeah I despise Bonnie.
An7 the youtubers who played The Walking Dead Season 2 knew Bonnie was not be friends with like, you can watch it on their videos that they were not taking any chances with Bonnie
@@somethingpd1959that’s not true, Bonnie will be pleasant to you after the truck scene if you foolishly risk your own life. Thats what it costs to gain Bonnie’s approval: acting stupid and getting people killed.
Yeah seriously, I used to care and sympathize with Arvo and I was nice the entire time. People do things they don’t want to when they’re scared, and losing a sister due to his dumb mistake is devastating. I didn’t steal the drugs. I tried to talk everyone down when they tried to rob us. I tried to comfort him when his sister was killed. I tried talking to him at camp. I tried telling Kenny to lay off of him. I didn’t yell for Jane or Kenny. But he still shot a kid. Why? Because Clem shot his *already dead* sister? I can understand the anger at Kenny but Clem? Especially when making choices that are nothing but kind to him? Such bullshit
I hate that they didn't give you the option to point out her hypocrisy, similar to how you give Rebecca the same energy. Edit: Im not saying that Rebecca is a bad character or I hate her. I honestly think she had the best character growth.
Honestly at least Rebecca had a reason to be upset unlike Bonnie. Bonnie was like “I’m sorry for lying and betraying you” then if you cover Luke her dumb self despite him saying it’s basically thin ice, she decides “Oh I’m moving closer anyway!” And Bonnie blames Clem for HER ACTIONS. Rebecca was definitely much but she had reasons to be extra
@@Para-CladeYeah,even though I didn’t like Rebecca’s attitude to clem at the start, she did have a good explanation to it,and at least she apologised to clem and got on better terms with her which makes her good in my book. Unlike Bonnie, who I don’t regret getting killed off in my second playthrough.
But Rebecca learned from her attitude, plus her being on a zombie apocalypse with pregnancy hormones kicking in mean you can’t entirely blame her for that attitude even tho she was very bitchy at the beginning.
Yep, I hate when the game doesnt give you the option to actually talk back, you just sit there and take it. Same thing in season 1 with Christa and Lee. All she did at the start was complaining and criticizing Lee, and there was no option to talk back. I hate these moments. You want to actually insult her and put her in her place, but all Lee can say to her is "are you okay Christa?" I could talk back to Rebecca ("whos baby is it?"), Carver ("you are just a bully" "you are not polite for an adult" etc) and even Kenny (stop being an asshole), so why not Bonnie and Christa ?
No one could ever make me like her. I have empathy for Jane, Rebeca, and Sarah and understand their actions and behavior towards others but it’s hard for me to like Bonnie or to have empathy for her.
@@Lilothestitch24 i could neve have empathty for jane she left AJ in danger which made kenny go crazy. any parent would react the same way. even if you go with her in the end of season 2, she kills herself in season 3 cause she was pregnant leaving clem and AJ alone to fend for themselves. she took a coward way out because she is a coward. kenny was always the right person to go with.
Honestly after watching this guys video on Jane I actually don't hate her as much because one the ending of the season was rushed if I recall and Jane before that point was a solid character and in the ending where you side with her I can now understand why she would kill herself was not entirely selfish one and can be seen as her being scared of dying during birth and leaving Clementine to take care of 2 kids but Bonnie she's just a bitch through and through and doesn't even take accountability, like fuck she doesn't even have the common sense of "if Luke broke the ice on his own then may be me going closer and adding more weight might doom us both"
@@redowanrahman3471Eeeeh - Jane’s suicide was meant to help Clementine because she was pregnant and homemade abortion tonics can be just as dangerous as the birth if they even had the right supplies to make one.
It's cause she turns on you if you don't listen to her and my favourite fact is that you can let her die without saving her which is what I do cause she's a opportunist that will backstab anyone to survive and that's what I hate about her and the reason I no longer save her or ever will.
@@freezasama5802 I agree. But it's still a hard decision since it means letting Luke die with her. He dies either way but no one wants to see Luke die even if he's a bigger screw up than Ben in season one.
@@72Worker you got to be joking Ben was way worse then Luke. He was stealing supplies from the group. Caused the bandit attack then would lead to Ducks bite and Katjaas suicide. Lied to the group about stealing the supplies leading to Carlys/Doug's death. Left a little girl defenseless on a street with walkers causing chuck to sacrifice himself to save her. Removed the axe blocking the door which caused walkers to flood in and over run the school, also causing Brees death and his own if you let him die. Ben was the cause of multiple deaths and problems, a major mess up.
@@flowcade6997 Luke was directly responsible for Sarah's second death scene. I'm much more annoyed by his moralizing anyway and than failing to live up to his ideals. Luke is probably more responsible for Carver's insanity than anyone else on the season including Rebecca. We just don't see everything he did unlike with Ben. What we do see is Luke constantly running away like a coward instead of facing the consequences of his actions like a man. If you let Ben live long enough Ben at least stands up for himself.
@@72Worker I mean Luke dies regardless so it doesn't mean anything either way the only difference is either Bonnie survives berates you for not siding with her, or gives you a cigar for doing so and then betrays you and leaves you for dead I'd rather leave her for dead than her doing that to me such a annoying character
might be because Larry is just an unapologetically unreasonable and hotheaded guy to the point where it feels so comical, you know what to expect, and the guy just offs himself with a heart attack early on into season 1 💀 and then you get Bonnie getting Luke killed, blaming Clementine and undermining her contributions, then betraying you for the second time.
@@PramkLunaah right, so we can chalk it up to bruener as always, that fool pretty much ruined several of telltales projects due to making them waste time and budget on stuff they wont use for the game, rather then what the devs intended.
What makes it even worse is that they don’t even take aj after taking all the food, literally stealing and leaving two children behind it’s genuinely the worst betrayal in any of these games and made me jump in anger when first playing
And she wanted me to go "save luke" of course I'm not dumb and didn't do it it so she got mad at me and wouldn't let me inhale yummy juice "cigarette I'll never forgive her
I never understood why this group defended Arvo so badly. Arvo is like this seasons Ben but way worse. Arvo and Ben are very comparable. Both have fucked up and caused the death of several people. (Ben accidentally getting Duck and Katja killed by not speaking up about the bandits and Arvo getting Luke injured and eventually killed by bringing his group and ambushing Clem and the others). While they both have their fuck ups, Ben feels like he's genuinely more remorseful for his actions. Another reason I also compare Ben and Arvo is that they both put Clem in danger. Ben leaving Clem when they're surrounded by walkers and Arvo LITERALLY SHOOTS HER. While Ben is genuinely a scared, naive teenager/young adult that fucked up, Arvo is not "just a kid" and knew exactly what he was doing bringing his group to rob and harm Clem's group. I'll never understand everyone except Kenny and Clem saying he's just a kid. Kenny is the only one to see through his bullshit and yet he's called the bad guy. I genuinely wanted to like Bonnie as early on she did seem to feel bad about ratting out the group, but once Arvo is introduced, she's just a bitch especially when you try to help Luke BECAUSE HE TELLS CLEM TO SHOOT THE WALKERS. And yet it's somehow all our fault
In the defense of Ben when he was around the apocalypse just started, he was at the age where in the “normal” world he would be allowed to do some adult things but not everything. He felt he was old enough to handle the situation and didnt belong sitting with the defenseless kids. All Ben wanted was to prove himself to be just as capable as the adults and be their equal. Practically everything Ben does can be explained from this desire. Meanwhile Arvo is just an ass and they shouldve just left him after they got attacked by his group. I don’t understand why they even believed and followed him he already led them into an ambush and killed off his group, he had no real reason to speak the truth.
Ben was a screw up,and I won’t forgive him for leaving clem to the zombies, but at least it wasn’t out of malicious intents and he at least tried at other points. Arvo is a different story, especially if you don’t steal from him,be nice to him at every point,he STILL ambushes clem’s group and says she robbed him,and still shoots her.
She isn't terrible as a character, just a bad person with a pattern of being an opportunistic parasite which is fairly realistic like Larry, Ben and such. Bad or unprepared people in an apocalypse
I mean, isn't Ben a 16 or 17 year old? Bonnie is a fucking adult and Larry is just a Racist, Bitter Asshole. Ben is flawed but he's a damn kid, that's like saying Clem is on the same level as Bonnie just because Clementine Ran away in season 1.
@@memeschidos4675 im not saying they are the same, I'm saying that Bonnie being a parasite and Ben being inexperienced and scared is pretty realistic for a zombie apocalypse..not all of us will be Rick Grimes
Ben was a cowardly 19 year old kid that simply didn't had what it took to survive the apocalypse and depended on people to keep him alive. Larry was an old, bitter and grumpy veteran that was trying to look out for his daughter, but was too much of a scumbag all around to last long. Bonnie was basically a junkie that needed people to leech off of that basically betrayed every group she's been in whether by accident, a change of heart, or anger.
I kind of wished she was written well, written more morally grey, cause with her dialogue if you try to save Luke, it seems nice characterisation of her, especially when she refuses to leave Clem after Arvo shot her.
I think there are diffrences to this scene based on how you treated Mike and Bonnie in previous episodes. In the video Bonnie is indeed sorry, but it can be opposite where Mike wants to help Clem while Bonnie says to "just leave her." And if Bonnie dies in the lake I think Mike always wants to help.
@@ChiefSuperIntendedBacon Yeah, if you try to save Luke by approaching him, Bonnie will be kind to you when she's smoking, and refuse to leave Clementine after Arvo shoots you. I just wish she was written more nicely.
Never liked Bonnie. She could’ve had an interesting story, but play two face. For betraying Clem and Walter, as much as I despised it, Carver is a dictator and more likely ordered her to scoop out the group. Of course Bonnie could’ve warned them, but I blamed Luke’s group because they were the reason Clem and Kenny’s group got captured and had to lose friends along the way. Now the lake scene pissed me off terribly. Bonnie blaming a child for not helping a grown man when that said grown man TOLD Clem not to help him, he can do it himself. Then proceeds to tell Clem that since she’s a little girl no one expects her to do anything??? Clem carried damn near everyone, even Kenny acknowledges that! Oh and let’s not forget Bonnie defended Arvo to the maximum when he started the whole fight. What about Rebecca son? Never mind that, Bonnie tries to abandon a child and a newborn.. Finally, Clem gets shot and if you don’t cover Luke. Bonnie will tell Mike to “leave her”. Overall, Bonnie is a coward and her words didn’t match with her actions. So much for trying to apologize and “make things right”…
As someone who lives in Michigan, with several lakes in a 20 mile radius, you DO NOT EVER go to help someone out of a fall through. They have to get themselves out typically. Not everytime of course, but if you’re lucky enough to have that hole in the ice, you’d have to “kick” yourself free and slide out
It always pissed me off that they walk and no one lays down and slides out I understand *at first* because of the zombies, but when Luke already has a foot through and we have to cover him from walkers anyway, then GET ON YOUR DAMN BELLY AND SLIDE
Bonnie's presence long-term doesn't make much sense. They made her extremely unlikeable from the start, in both 400 days and Season 2. Then, they spend 3 episodes forcing her down your throat with no option not to engage with her. A lot of the characters in Season 2's group have this problem, but Bonnie is the worst case of it.
She's in my top 3 hated characters Right next to Mike and Arvo Because all she does is play two face with everyone Literally switches up in just to benefit her own survival and is a homewrecker as you see in 400 days And literally spits in your face 2 different times and gets away 1 When Clem and Walter offer food And she says thanks only to betray you to carver which led to walters death 2 when after lukes death even when you cover him like he asked you to The biggest spit to any players face was when she said "Must be fun being a little girl and no one expects you to do anything" BITCHHHHH I CARRIED YOUR WHOLE SORRY ASS CREW 😂😂😂 yeah lost my temper writing that lol
@@YTCProductions Okay be REAL with everyone. Do you REALLY hate Mike? Everybody loved, loved, LOVED Mike until after Arvo shot Clementine. Can’t say the same for Bonnie though.
Never saw 400 days, but it makes sense that Bonnie was likely an addict. Quick to lie and jump on any opportunity that will get her what she wants while risking anyone for it, even a girl like Clem. With other characters like Larry or Jane you can at least understand where they're coming from or have some redeeming qualities. However Bonnie just risks everyone for what she wants and has the audacity to lie not just us but also herself that she's the victim in all this. Bonnie is by far my least favorite character.
How does she die again if you decide not to take action? Does Dee end up killing her? If so it would make sense seeing how Dee despises Bonnie so much already with the potential affair or cheating
@@mrtortilla5707 when hiding behind the tractor in the rain, it's either hit Dee Dee or get hit yourself and have to start over, which has always confused me on if it was Dee Dee and why would she do it
She was beginning to develop a mini 'redemption' arc after helping Clementine's group escape Howe's, however blaming Clem for Luke's death and defending Arvo (which is contradictory) made me lose respect for Bonnie. I wonder if she'd even stick with Mike for that long.
I find cool that she is a character like this, there's no redemption to her, she tries and always fails. But her fails are always her own fault, and the reason she can't make up for them is because she is just opportunistic like that and want others to accept and forgive her mistakes.
Out of all the amounts of cut content TellTale made working on season 2 the only 400 days they decided to keep was Bonnie where Russel, Vince, Shel, Becca, and Wyatt are in my opinion WAY BETTER CHARACTERS THEN BONNIE.
my headcanon for Bonnie's ultimate fate is that after Kenny and Jane ran out of the half-built cabin following Clemintine being shot is that Kenny ran down and shot Arvo (with the same gun he'd just fired at Clem with) there and then while Jane hurried AJ and Clem into the truck. Once Arvo was dealt with; Kenny turned to Mike and Bonnie; disgusted with their actions of taking all the remaining food, truck and trying to flee, he just leaves them there and drives away to either be eaten by Walkers once they wander into the cabin's remains or they freeze to death in the blizzard we see during the final act of S2E5.
@@ryanmills892 Nah, they all lived. If you watched the egghundred days DLC, you’ll see that they live a while longer until Mike falls to his death trying to protect Arvo and Bonnie.
My headcanon is that Bonnie drowned in the river with Luke, Mike got shot by clem(would’ve happened in my playthrough if telltale didn’t remove the option) And Kenny killed Arvo.
@@LadyLeomon It was a 20 minute video that told us what happened to many of the characters of the walking dead by one of the writers of TellTale. They called it Egghundred Days.
What I disliked the most about Bonnie and never realized until I rewatched people playing years after is that she was expecting Clem to resonate like an adult, making all the decisions and was getting upset for the decisions she was doing , like mam Clem is a smart baddie but was still a child like….you wanted to make some decisions do it yourself but don’t put that pressure on a kid and don’t project your own faults on a child , and that’s how I saw how selfish she was , don’t get me wrong it’s a game Clem is the character that makes the decisions so it’s logical that grown people asks for her advice but even other people was seeing her as a child , I feel like Bonnie was just seeing her as a little tool that could help her with her lil plans. Edit : my bad for the messy grammar
I think Bonnie was referring to Becca (Shels younger sister) when she was saying she had a little girl back in their group. But yeah, Bonnie sucks especially after hating you if you decide to do as Luke says and just keep the walkers off him.
I hate her like how I hate carver. People are awful and that is just realistic. She’s a realistic character like Ben. She’s hypocritical, petty, and 2 sided. These are the type of people you’d come across if the walking dead was to happen.
Bonnie: Must be nice, being a pretty little girl. No one expects you to do a damn thing. Clementine: *had to kill Lee as a child, inadvertently caused Omid to die, lost Christa, witnessed Pete get bitten and almost froze to death trying to save Luke* Bonnie’s an asshole😒
I never got to play the game but I did watch a lot of playthroughs when it first was huge, I think it's really cool that even now there are people still making videos about it :), these videos that you've been making are good watched all of them.
Let me get this straight. So Bonnie denfends Arvo after he shot Clem and before that if we don't save Luke as in jump in freezing cold water with walkers in there and on the ice around us she becomes all pissy and hates us. Wtf kind of logic is that. That's like hating a kid for running away instead of saving her mom when there was an earthquake. It makes no sense and neither do I. Also also Bonnie you started all this by tricking and manipulating Walter and we lost him and Alvin as well as one of Carver's men Thanks for that btw southern belle. Or north/south/middle belle.
I know this is Wishful Thinking, I'm hoping if there is a new Walking Dead game, we get to confront bonnie, but I don't think that's going to happen. I think it's more likely she died not long after you last see her, most likely by a lack of food or by walkers.
The way she left Clem to die after when Arvo shot and the repeated betrayal Bonnie commits is the reason why I prefer to let her drown by refusing to save Luke since he dies anyway.
Bonnie: Im Sorry Bonnie: Im so Sorry Bonnie: Im So SO SORRY Bonnie: Im so sorry i didnt mean for this to happen! Bonnie.......please.....stop you already made Clementine heart broken of your Trust
Funny how she said that just because she is a little girls everyone expect no to do anything But bonnie a adult always screw up... FROM KILLING DEE ABANDONING LEELAND, Helping Carver, Making luke ice break and with arvo While Clem just by the time she met Bonnie, take the Walkie talk from tavia , Make the sound , help luke and kenny push the cannon to stop the walkers, stop thet wind thing from Kenny Lodge that was making noise, help bonnie and mike, the same day she help jane and luke with sara
I couldn’t stand her after her and Mike defended Arvo. Arvo most likely got Mike and Bonnie in another ambush killing them both that’s the kind of Asshole he is.
This is the first video of yours I've been recommended and oh my god i beg you make a playlist of all these videos so I can binge them all at once I am in LOVEEE
i will defend her slightly in that she was an addict. she didn’t have AA, rehab, a sponsor, a system or someone to help her (400 days saying she was found in the apocalypse still abusing substances). recovering in the middle of an outbreak where traumatizing things happen everyday, where everything in your life only ever pushes you to use, and being put in a survival situation that actually tends to benefit those who are greedy, ruthless, and will do whatever they can to get something… i can just see how it wouldn’t have encouraged her to change her ways, she probably came from an environment that didn’t favor forgiveness or compassion before the outbreak either.
I was honestly disappointed when bonnie lashed out on Clem even though it was clear covering him was the best option, i actually think her going to help Luke is what got him killed. I like Bonnie alot as she was nice and kept the group together but i guess she showed her true colours in the end
Tbf S2 was kinda mess with multiple writers/ scripts. So who knows how her character would’ve turned out if the season wasn’t a rushed mess. Bonnie was going to be in the season as due to her being in 400 days, but would she have lived as long as she did? Who knows.
I feel like Bonnie wouldn't have been so bad as a tragic figure who can't change if she didn't spend SO long with the group. Like she has been here for like 2 Seasons and her ending is THIS? If she was a one off character in a single season I think she could have worked super well. Like she joins the group in the final season and we kind of see JUST how awful everyone looks through her reactions. She wants to be a good person despite her terrible past but even still she decides to convince Arvo and... Whatever his name is (bro is forgettable man) to leave with her after Luke's death. We can understand her reasoning, her aggression toward Clementine and even her grief despite not knowing Luke long and immediately choosing to blame Clem and feeling no remorse when she's shot. Would have been a great fit for Walking Dead 2 tbh with how it seems like the theme is generally that the world is cruel and it does awful things to good people. Bonnie WANTS to be a good person and stay with the group to protect Clem and AJ but even still she allowed herself to go back into her heartless ways (I assume she'll give info about her past around the campfire and how she wants to change). But even still we can kinda get her. With Luke gone she has basically no one she's close to in the group, Kenny is terrifying, Arvo is probably gonna be beat to death, she's in mourning and she's scared she'll be next. Without knowing the group too closely I think Bonnie could have been a great character personally, an outsider that sees the state of the group and goes back into her heartless ways in order to save the few people she sees as good. Though even so with a hint of pure VENOM as she doesn't take Clementine purely because she blames her for the death of Luke, I like the idea that she'd be THAT petty too even toward a kid.
Bonnie gave the impression that she wouldn’t help a kid if they were getting abused by some adult in power, she was just so fake and weak. I didn’t like her at all.
Keep in mind: When Luke was stuck on the ice, the objectively correct decision in that situation would be to cover him and not add anymore weight onto the breaking ice. Because more weight means the ice is going to break.
I love your vids. I just don't think the way you pointed out bonnie "man hopping" is all that important to the character criticisms. Atp in the game, everyone has done things to survive and moved group to group. While I agree she's a bad character, I think it rubbed me wrong the way that was tacked on there. Maybe that's a bias, but anyways, thanks for the upload. Your vids are always a fun and interesting watch.
The fact that she blamed Clem for Luke’s death if she doesn’t decide to go help him. 🙄 Like her WHOLE Demeanor changed, mad because LUKE WASN’T WITH HER ON THE DECK, BUT WITH JANE! 😂 Yea I said it! And lastly, she just got on my nerves as a whole 🤷🏾♀️💯 Fakea$$
I think _she_ wanted to, but Leland was oblivious whole Dee could see it plainly: that the druggie they saved and have been hauling around like a lost dog was after her husband. It clearly didn’t work cos no matter whether she tells the truth or not, she’s alone by the end of the 400 Days,
i like bonnie not as a person but as a character, shes a woman who struggles with addiction and a place of comfort, she does all these horrible these out of her idea of necessity then feels bad and jumps ship but repeats it all over again, the only way to break this pattern is for her to trust another and learn to forgive herself and others, i hope her mike and arvo can find that
The whole season suffers from too many characters getting introduced too late. Iirc Arvo doesnt even appear until the very very end of episode 4. The game also really tries to make Kenny seem like the bad guy at the end but it doesnt work at all. Idky the writers thought we would think Kenny is crazy and 'too far gone' for reacting normally to someone basically saying they killed a baby but 'it was just a prank bro' so hes in the wrong.....somehow. Probably the same writers who tried to make Joel seem like the bad guy in Last of Us 2 when everyone who played the game knows he wasnt
I can forgive the part where Jane lied about having a family. It's a good cover story for her to disguise the fact that she was a spy for Carver. That's the only thing I'm forgiving about Jane.
I think Bonnie is an alright character, she just suffer from terrible writing, which turn her into a terrible character. Carver should’ve been the big bad but instead they killed him off in the middle half of the game, forcing them to come up with stupid crap like Jane VS Kenny. anyone can tell that everyone except Clem will side with Jane no matter what. so what do they do ? they make everyone an idiot ball for the sake of killing them off so that Clem can be the only one who decide between either siding with Kenny or Jane. Think about it, these people are fine with leaving Clem and AJ behind but they are not fine with Kenny beating Arvo who literally causing all of this shit to begin with ?? like.. you can clearly see their moral juxtaposition. literally goes against what have been established in the story.
Also what was the point of 400 days if *"ONLY"* one character Bonnie was the one that always carries over regardless and everybody else is like a 10 second cameo for the most part. She might as well have never been part of the 400days DLC if that's the case. You can skip 400days and it won't change anything.
@@silentecho92able yeah I agree, I guess its just a way to see all the references made in Season 1 like Carley's corpse in Russells story, Duck and Kenny silhouttes at the beginning of the DLC being chased by a walker, Eddie being missing until the end of Season 4 where we see him again, Vince living in Macon and cameos for Season 2 which I think is dumb but its probably for us to have more context of the characters noting that they are not evil but just misguided and manipulated by an evil man.
I like a lot of season 2 in a vacuum. Clementine stitching her own wounds, finding a hopeless group that's already about to collapse and introducing a villain with a lot of firepower and resources. But none of it really pieces together well as a whole. I wish Carver was a little more fleshed out as a villain instead of just going "You work for me now"
@@dekudude8888 Carver for me feels very under utilize as a villain. As he is nothing more then your classic typical despot. If anything it would have made more sense IMO we learn more about his background and i know a good way do it. Remember, the other 400 characters that are noting more then worthless cameo's. Here's the thing have each one interact with Clem. They each reveal a different side to Carver as he was not like this before. An give us a conflicting story about the group Clem has been with and they did something to loss Carvers trust, and make us question there story on Carver. Say something like Carver lost his wife and child during the start of the apocalypse and he took in the Cabin Group during the start. Sheltered them, fed them etc, but they took advantage of his mercy especially Rebecca who seduced him. When she found out she got pregnant Carver was happy. But a few months ago the group conspired and killed some of Carvers men and stole supplies and let it walkers into camp. Carver personally saved Reggie's life despite trying to escape. Some of these stories are confirmed ones Clem talks to the Cabin crew members, like Sarah. But more especially Nick if he survived EP2. Making us question is Carver truly evil and revealing more about the people Clem has been with the past few days.
The lake bit pisses me off so much. Like, Telltale doesn't even try to make it look like there isn't a way around. They could've literally just walked around.

She's the one who tells Clem to walk on the BROKEN AND UNSTABLE ICE or go onto the ice herself depending on your choices IGNORING Luke's warning and not letting him get himself out of the situation. One thing that always bugged me was that if your nice to Arvo that it never changes how he acts towards you.
Did you not see the d3ath glare he sent towards Clem after his sister d13d?
You want to actually insult her and put her in her place, but all Lee can say to her is "are you okay Christa?"
I could talk back to Rebecca ("whos baby is it?"), Carver ("you are just a bully" "you are not polite for an adult" etc) and even Kenny (stop being an asshole), so why not Bonnie and Christa ?
No one could ever make me like her. I have empathy for Jane, Rebeca, and Sarah and understand their actions and behavior towards others but it’s hard for me to like Bonnie or to have empathy for her.
I don’t like Jane.

My canon is her death in the lake
“You can have all the flaws you want”
Bonnie took that shit to heart
Nah don’t bring my boy Ben into this
He’s a stupid teen, that’s it. He at least tried to help, he never betrayed the group like Bonnie did.
@@memeschidos4675 im not saying they are the same, I'm saying that Bonnie being a parasite and Ben being inexperienced and scared is pretty realistic for a zombie apocalypse..not all of us will be Rick Grimes
@@sleepybim no we love Ben 🥺, i should have worded it differently to make it clear I'm only calling Bonnie a opportunistic person.
She also the reason why carver found them.
She’s easily the worst character that isn’t outright evil like carver or the St. John’s. I was on the fence after 400 days but season 2 sealed it
Never liked Bonnie.
So much for trying to apologize and “make things right”…
This is why I was so glad Clem became savage in Season 3.
As someone who lives in Michigan, with several lakes in a 20 mile radius, you DO NOT EVER go to help someone out of a fall through. They have to get themselves out typically.
Not everytime of course, but if you’re lucky enough to have that hole in the ice, you’d have to “kick” yourself free and slide out
It always pissed me off that they walk and no one lays down and slides out
I understand *at first* because of the zombies, but when Luke already has a foot through and we have to cover him from walkers anyway, then GET ON YOUR DAMN BELLY AND SLIDE
they were going to leave a child and newborn baby to basically die. They are evil characters and nothing can redeem them.
She's in my top 3 hated characters

And literally spits in your face 2 different times and gets away

And she says thanks only to betray you to carver which led to walters death
2 when after lukes death even when you cover him like he asked you to

With other characters like Larry or Jane you can at least understand where they're coming from or have some redeeming qualities. However Bonnie just risks everyone for what she wants and has the audacity to lie not just us but also herself that she's the victim in all this. Bonnie is by far my least favorite character.
The sigh in the beginning is SO REALLLLLLLL

Bro I don't know who you are I haven't even watched the video yet but I have been WAITING for someone to make a video tearing Bonnie apart. THANK YOU
I find cool that she is a character like this, there's no redemption to her, she tries and always fails. But her fails are always her own fault, and the reason she can't make up for them is because she is just opportunistic like that and want others to accept and forgive her mistakes.
Yeah, I like this aspect as well, even if it was unintentional by writers. Her being former addict really fits her.
"I can fix her"
"She's literally going to kill you, if not get you killed"

Shes more of a terrible person, not necessarily a terrible character, that would imply she's poorly written.

Bonnie: Must be nice, being a pretty little girl. No one expects you to do a damn thing.
Clementine: *had to kill Lee as a child, inadvertently caused Omid to die, lost Christa, witnessed Pete get bitten and almost froze to death trying to save Luke*

My only annoyance is that you can't tell her off for Luke's death
luke would literally be alive if she didn’t lead carver to them at the lodge😒

Let me get this straight. So Bonnie denfends Arvo after he shot Clem and before that if we don't save Luke as in jump in freezing cold water with walkers in there and on the ice around us she becomes all pissy and hates us.
Wtf kind of logic is that. That's like hating a kid for running away instead of saving her mom when there was an earthquake.
It makes no sense and neither do I.
Also also Bonnie you started all this by tricking and manipulating Walter and we lost him and Alvin as well as one of Carver's men
Thanks for that btw southern belle. Or north/south/middle belle.

I know this is Wishful Thinking, I'm hoping if there is a new Walking Dead game, we get to confront bonnie, but I don't think that's going to happen.
I think it's more likely she died not long after you last see her, most likely by a lack of food or by walkers.
Or most likely a vengeful Kenny.
Yeah, we all know Bonnie sucks but at least you have the option to let her drown.
The way she left Clem to die after when Arvo shot and the repeated betrayal Bonnie commits is the reason why I prefer to let her drown by refusing to save Luke since he dies anyway.
Bonnie isn't as Bad as Jane, but she is a really terrible inconsistent character in season 2.
They're both pretty shitty at least Jane doesn't pretend to be a good person

i will defend her slightly in that she was an addict. she didn’t have AA, rehab, a sponsor, a system or someone to help her (400 days saying she was found in the apocalypse still abusing substances). recovering in the middle of an outbreak where traumatizing things happen everyday, where everything in your life only ever pushes you to use, and being put in a survival situation that actually tends to benefit those who are greedy, ruthless, and will do whatever they can to get something… i can just see how it wouldn’t have encouraged her to change her ways, she probably came from an environment that didn’t favor forgiveness or compassion before the outbreak either.
I was honestly disappointed when bonnie lashed out on Clem even though it was clear covering him was the best option, i actually think her going to help Luke is what got him killed. I like Bonnie alot as she was nice and kept the group together but i guess she showed her true colours in the end
Ugh finally, Bonnie slander!
Ain't slander if it's true
We got robbed from capping Bonnie in the kneecaps and leave her for the walkers
I kinda liked Bonnie in 400 days not gonna lie, but in Season 2 I just disliked her.
It should’ve been Bonnie under that ice 🫡
Hey dude noticed a mistake in your bio “what I can truly can accomplish” just wanted to let you know good work on your videos so far!!
I will never understand why any of them defended Arvo. Little mofo caused a lot of trouble. Got Luke killed.
Loved listening to these at work. I hope you make more soon
I actually somewhat liked Bonnie all the way up to her final moments, her outburst on Clem is so uncalled for.
Once a crack head always a crack head XD
Homewreaker to groupwreaker
Edit: after watching this I’m so bad at Bonnie all over again 😂
She’s a good snake 🐍. She plays the good snake
All of season 2 wouldn’t had happened if it wasn’t for Dee. Dee stealing started a chain reaction that ends up with Clem and AJ.
Bonnie is the biggest opp

I love your vids. I just don't think the way you pointed out bonnie "man hopping" is all that important to the character criticisms. The fact that she blamed Clem for Luke’s death if she doesn’t decide to go help him. 🙄 Like her WHOLE Demeanor changed, mad because LUKE WASN’T WITH HER ON THE DECK, BUT WITH JANE! 😂 Yea I said it! And lastly, she just got on my nerves as a whole 🤷🏾♀️💯 Fakea$$
because bonnie puts clem in danger she die in most my playthroughs. lily and larry get the same treatment.
Two grown adults were willing to steal all the food, abandon a baby and a kid just to get away from Kenny 💀
She deserved the Carver treatment
Was I the only one who got the vibe that she was cheating with Leland on Dee? I always got that vibe from her
That is pretty obvious my guy
I think _she_ wanted to, but Leland was oblivious whole Dee could see it plainly: that the druggie they saved and have been hauling around like a lost dog was after her husband. It clearly didn’t work cos no matter whether she tells the truth or not, she’s alone by the end of the 400 Days,
Please talk about Gabe and why he behave how he was
i like bonnie not as a person but as a character, shes a woman who struggles with addiction and a place of comfort, she does all these horrible these out of her idea of necessity then feels bad and jumps ship but repeats it all over again, the only way to break this pattern is for her to trust another and learn to forgive herself and others, i hope her mike and arvo can find that
The whole season suffers from too many characters getting introduced too late.
Honestly, imho, they should've taken the baby, and made anf about Clem searching for them...
you didn’t need to make this vid bro we already knew
Season 2 is the worst season ever, worst writing as well Bonnie, Mike and Jane are consequences of the bad writing too.
