First off, I too use the Razer keypad when drawing, it is simply amazing, and can sometimes be much cheaper than the "branded" tablet keypads. Plus its far more universal for many other apps and then games. And second, sketching with a ball point pen really is the GOAT. You keep the sketchy look from a pencil, but also really get to hone in with the dark inky effects that a pen gives. Fantastic vid, will be checking more of your stuff out! :D
I use XP Pen for my digital painting, and it's blown away everything else, I did have a large Huion tablet, but it was too clunky for me, and had a lot of cords, and I couldn't update it, BUT it was an AWESOME tablet.
Great video, art and advice. Love your animated talking avatar too. This is the video I wish I had in my early days or one I would even do myself. 😀 I use to use Razer Orbweaver too with all the macros but ended up putting a small-form keyboard with a slide-out drawer under my desk. But for my laptop I would use the orbweaver time to time but it's not super portable in my laptop bag (was looking for something I could collapse or flatter) I found a left-side only detachable keyboard with more keys and function buttons (F1, etc). I can't remember the company but it was on Amazon.
I may do this at some point in the future, but it's not on my current list of content. The reason is that everyone will want to set up their hotkeys differently, because everyone's workflow is different. Perhaps I'll make a video with some recommendations for basic Blender controls though, that's a good idea!
You are right. However I would like to start the customizing Tartarus using your experience. I think that programming the keyboard keys is a long phase of testing and modification until you find a truly effective mapping.
Your Tartarus's mapping would be a good starting point for me. It will save time in the boring cycle customing-keys / memorize-keys / change non efficient keys / rememorize new keys...

Thank you very much for your kind words! Yeah, I do love the Tartarus, but I may still look for a more compact option in the future :)

Thanks, its very handy!
Hello !
Could you make a video explaining how to use and configure Razer Tartarus with Blender ?
I may do this at some point in the future, but it's not on my current list of content. Agreed, it would definitely save a lot of time! @@rexsip4482
looking into the one-handed keyboard now--here, take this sub
Thanks! Yeah one-handed keyboard makes the workflow super speedy!
Razer hates left handed people. I've wanted one of those keyboard forever but no one ever gave out the love. :(
Aw thats brutal! Damn you Razer! There might be a non-razer one handed keyboard for lefties though 🤔 market opportunity!
@@moltenbolt Hah truth! But none are quite as well laid out. :)
