  • On August 15, 22, 29, and September 5, 2021 four consecutive Sundays were spent filming Lakes State Railway's isolated 3.9 mile long Blue Water Subdivision.
Most iconic locations between Dunn Paper at the north end of the short subdivision, and CN's Tunnel yard at the south end of the subdivision are beautifully represented.
Regardless if the action takes place at the stunning scenery beside the St Clair River, along the well manicured Thomas Edison Parkway, or at the historic bascule bridge over the Black River, LSRC MP15AC number 1501 is the real star of the show here.
I hope you enjoy this production half as much as I enjoyed putting it together!

I like seeing these shoreline operations they always have unique and different things that made them neat. We had Milwaukee road MP-15 yard goats here in Great Falls MT. and is neat to see them still alive and operating

Worked for the Milwaukee road when now no 1502 and her sisters were delivered. They were used as switchers and or main line service in revenue train service.

My uncle was a supervisor at Domtar. A last minute order extension pushed the closure date to March, 2021. I think it was around the 13th. I'll have to ask him.

Hi Todd, was wondering if when you're out doing videos again of the LSR SWITCHER and if you get pics of it would you send me an 8x10 to add to my railroad room I'm making in our new home? MP15AC'S are one of my favorite locomotives and that's what passes by my house on our local short line railroad.

If I ever get shots of it I’ll keep you in mind and we can work something out.

@@toddfeldpausch9489 thank you Todd. And the only reason I asked is bcuz I'm a disabled Delawarian and I'm a BIG FAN of trains and your videos that consist of having that beautiful switcher! Thanks for wanting to help me out w it and I'll have it framed to hang in the railroad room. And if you could autograph it as well!

Now that domtar has closed, how many customers are left on that little branch line?

What will become of the domtar plant? Railroads have lost so much business from plant closures or switching to trucks .
