- LSRC 1501 switches the Dunn Paper mill in Port Huron Michigan. This was filmed 6/9/22. The paper mill has since closed their doors. Then we followed them across Port Huron where they switched at the former Domtar Paper Mill which I believe is also closed now. We got lucky catching this train by chance. We were staying at the Double Tree under Blue Water Bridge for out 10 year anniversary. We stayed here for our 5 year also and saw the train but then CN was using the track and it was at night!

Nice video from last June
Perfect weather.
Nice lookn MP15.....❤❤❤❤
Great video! Excelent views from the drone. Thanks for sharing.
Sad hearing the mills closed.
Amazing video wow
I had seen one video on this but it was shot in murky weather and I don't think there was a drone View. Here's a nice clean unit alongside the blue water plus the drawbridge one couldn't ask for more. Said to say in five years this will probably be a hiking path and the neat old buildings will be torn down. Good drone work considering how windy it was
good aerial shots great video
Awesome switching Scott!!!
Excellent video. Sorry to see this mill closed. Sad I’m so many ways…
This is one of the bet videos I've seen. I love switching operations and there's plenty of it here. The park was nice, too. You can sit there and watch trains go by. I like the track right along the shoreline in the beginning of the video and a drawbridge. Lots of switching action here. Your drone footage was real good. Great location for train watching.
beautiful scenery!
Thanks! Port Huron is a great place on the lakes to visit. The paper mill closed soon after I filmed this but definitely a lot of good freighter action.
Love it man.
That was great to watch, really liked it. But I am sorry that the Mills are closed now. As well as less revenue for the Railway, it must be bad for local employment too.
About 100 jobs on the site that was railroad shops many years ago. The mill sits on a point and is probably prime real estate.
@@erbewayne6868 Hi, thanks for your reply. I suspected that closure of the Mill & Railroad would be due to the intervention of some greedy Real Estate developer(s) who couldn't-care-less about people's livelihoods or the Railroad. UA-cam threw-up another video of demolition work commencing on the Bridge, with the tracks all gone. I find this type of event very sad to see.
Cool !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)))))))))))))
A menina é que está certa.
É assim que se corta panetone.
Parabéns. 👏👏👏
What??? Could you comment in English please so others can understand you better or use Google Translate and copy/paste the Translation to youtube unless that is too hard for you to do.........
Your excellent drone segments really elevate your work above other rail fan channels!

Fantastic video
Too bad the paper mills closed down. Less business for the railroad.
The second customer is CDW Consulting. It's a warehousing and transloading company. Only the blue building with the pipes leading to it is Domtar's on that side of the tracks.
Interesting to see the lunar indication on the new signal that protects the barrier under the new bridge. Your tax dollars at work that will probably not be needed soon.
@@erbewayne6868 I thought that barrier was a waste from the beginning. Only locals know about the bridge so I don't think it's vulnerable to terrorist attacks.
Super beautiful video
Perfect 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
True railfan - records videos while on an anniversary getaway! Outstanding!!
That place looks killer
What a thumbnail!
