i agree omg. im so tired of seeing those because that never actually happens. a lot of people dont have the genetics for an hourglass figure and it just idolises one body type instead of embracing different shapes :)

Fr and I hate the random music ones as the music is usually awful because everyone has a different music taste and I can't mute it because then I won't know when the timer goes off so I'm forced to listen to incredibly bass booted music lol.

I feel like there's a lot left to be desired in a lot of modern pilates videos. There's often a lot of cardio mixed in, or its loud pop music playing, and you lose a lot of the mind body connection. This was *exactly* what I was looking for. My pilates instructor stopped teaching after she had her baby, and I've not found anyone I really enjoy- until now! Thank you so much!

After two weeks and As hard as this was in the beginning i am honestly so proud and impressed with myself by how i am now finishing the entire video without pausing at all and how i am enjoying some of the moves that was very challenging at the beginning, i am really so Grateful i found you Nicole Much Gratitude✨♥️

Hi Nicole I have just discovered your Channel I loved everything about this workout. I ve heard about pilates before but as I was used to practise harder trainings ( squatt , abs ...) so I was disappointed when I discovered some pilates workouts... I found them boring and felt like I was not practising useful stuff. By chance I found your video and I really enjoyed from it from the beginning to the end everything was " top" :mixing pilates with some harder exercises was such a good idea . Thank you so much . I loved the pacing of this workout, and the fact that you included restorative yoga poses in between sets of harder exercises. Other pilates videos I watch just go so hard the whole time with no breaks and that was really refreshing. Having those restorative poses in between gives me space and reminds me to have compassion for my body and to be thankful for my practice

Cant you do pilates and weight training at the same time? I am weight training at the moment but would like to incorporate some Pilates as well. Would that be okay?
@@kittensmitten3287 yes you can do both but you most likely won’t grow as much muscle from lifting because Pilates would interfere with recovery
Omg I’m in the same boat!!! I love weight lifting BUT I feel like my body goals have changed. I want to tap into my feminine energy and wanna try something “softer”. I’m not saying by any means weight lifting is masculine but for me and my personal opinion I’m kinda over it…
lol, yeah I feel like weight training isn’t for me even tho I want it to be because im trying to build muscle and the strength I’ve lost in my glutes but I feel it’s so much stress on my body right now, trying to make a decision.
I've been doing Chloe Ting's workouts for almost two years, but now wanna try something new, pilates gives me that incredible feeling of being woman, though I burn much less calories, it doesn't matter. Never did pilates before, but fell in love immediately

Yo recomiendo mezclar este video con las pilates con pesas, usar benditas elásticas si tienes y también usar sus videos de Barre pilates que es básicamente ejercicios de bailarina; ayudan muchísimo para las piernas y glúteos.

Ive just started doing your pilates videos around 30-35 minutes a day and already notice a huge difference. I am bloating much less and feel way stronger throughout my entire body. Absolutely love these videos and how calming it is to be able to take your time with the workout but still feel the burn 10 fold amazing!
I was amazed how many tries it took to get completely through this: at least 10 tries over 3 weeks. I knew I was out of shape but geesh! Really helping me to get some core strength back and helping my joints. Improving my balance, too. Thanks, Nicole.

I've been doing this and other videos of Nicole for a month and today was the first time I managed to do all of the sequences without stopping, even the jumping jacks in the end! I started doing this and another Nicole's workout on January 1st to start my year with sport! And after 2 weeks, doing it 3 times a week, i already feel more stronger and flexible the workout is getting easier every time, im so happy!! 😄 I really like that you don't need to jump or run and its all very peaceful but at the same time ur core and legs are burning!

I am in love with this workout! Prior to watching this video, I associated working out with putting my body and mind through physical and mental anguish. However, this video taught me that working out is quite the opposite. This routine is a feeling that gives me a peace of mind knowing that I am bettering both my body and mind. It has been two months since I started this routine and every other day I feel like a new person. I totally recommend this to anyone who wants to better themselves physically and mentally. Good luck to those who are willing to embark on this new journey and I hope you feel fulfilled and accomplished at the end of every session.

I’ve watched a lot of Pilates videos since being stuck at home the past few months, but Nicole’s are hands down the best. I’m not a huge workout fiend, so committing to working out at home is not easy. However, Nicole’s videos are easy to follow and actually give you a good workout in a short amount of time, so I can commit to them nearly every day. Love the pace of the videos and her calming style. Nicole, hope you post more 20-30 min full body workouts in the near future!

I've been weight training for the past 6 months and decided it was time to switch it up, I did some research and am going to begin balancing both pilates and weights throughout the week. My first pilates session on your channel and I am so grateful to have found it! I am looking forward to both my mental and physical changes after incorporating your videos into my routine!
Hii, have you seen progress? I weight lift, but decided to start pilates to balance my routine :)
I would also like to know if you've seen progress. I was also weight training but now I weight train 2x a week and do pilates 3x a week. But I've only been doing this for about 3 or 4 weeks and at first was only doing pilates twice. I feel myself getting stronger but as I'm a bit chubbier it is hard to see progress in such a short amount of time!
@@dearreflection if you are doing weight training right you will absolutely see results in six months. Pilates I am not so sure about because it is extremely low-impact and barely works most muscles. Lifting has transformed my body

Okay I was really skeptic about doing Pilates because a lot of stretches and workouts didn’t work out for me, but when I tell you I’ve never felt so relieved after a workout 😭 it was a really good challenge for me and before I had been having back problems and shoulder problems for a few weeks but well these stretches and workouts have really helped with my mobility 🙌🏽 definitely will be doing these a few times a week
I remember doing this with zero exercise and now for about 6 months in, I attempted again. I love how this hits muscles that I didn’t think it could hit.
The Monday Pilates class I usually take was cancelled this morning, so I did this class, instead. What a wonderful substitute it was. I greatly appreciate your UA-cam offerings!

Never done pilates ever. I'm pretty active in working out daily and was just looking for a different kind of workout to see more of a difference in my body. I've recently started trying pilates and I can't say I've been a fan because most of the ones I did were so core focused (even when they claimed to be "full body") and would have my neck aching/straining for long periods. This is hands down my favorite pilates excercise so far because it is so well-balanced. No strains or aches here. It's perfect👌. Thank you!

Fue mi primera vez haciendo pilates! Me sentí bien, y pude sentir el esfuerzo, no pude relajarme del todo porque la chica claramente habla en inglés y solía estar pendiente a cada movimiento que hiciera. Estaré haciendo sus rutinas y combinando con CrossFit y veré si noto cambios en mi cuerpo.

I decided to start doing pilates as a low impact workout. I found Nicole and was pleased from the first video. Her explanations of the moves make it so that I almost don't have to watch the screen which is very helpful. I decided to try someone else for a change and only got 2 minutes into the video and went back to Nicole. Her explanations and gentle encouragements set her apart. The workouts are great as well!! Honestly! I couldn't end this year without attempting to start working out again. My body needs it
Thank you so much as usual! I’m finding my biggest challenge is consistency due to very painful monthly periods. After the first couple of days where the pain is too much to move at all, I can do light gentle stretching but this whole process is like a week and totally takes me mentally out of my routine of improving. Would you mind making a playlist of a week of your most gentle stretches and exercises so that I’m not met with the extra challenge of searching for something manageable, and maybe people like myself would appreciate having something that FEELS like part of our normal exercise routine just by going to that playlist once a month? Thanks for this consideration. I can’t imagine I’m the only person with this challenge 🙏🏻

This is the first workout where my body felt amazing afterwards It's thirty minutes long, but doesn't feel like it because I'm enjoying every second of it.

day 4: it still takes so much effort just to get on the mat. but at least i feel like I can last a few seconds/reps longer already. thank you nicole, this one is my favorite- it kills my body just enough that I can still manage to push forward

I can’t wait to start this! I’ve been weight lifting for so long but I feel like my “body goals” are changing. I feel the pressure to keep up with the “big butt” look and toned arms and for my own opinion I feel so masculine when I weight train. Lately I’ve been obsessed with tapping into my femininity and just trying something more softer and relaxing for the soul. I can’t wait to start this ❤

Totally agree! I just need to work on my neck because it always hurts after workouts! I am getting stronger within my core though and less low back pain after ab exercises bc i finally figured out how to properly engage my core and keep my back flat from Nicole ! :)

Nicole, thanks for creating pilates videos. I use your videos 3-5 days per week. My FAVORITES are your 30 minute intermediate pilates workouts. I would be thrilled to see more 30 minute intermediate level videos with NO squats and NO jumping. I currently sub single leg dead lifts for your squats and I don't jump. Squats and jumping leave me with uncomfortable knees for the rest of the day. Again, thanks for the work you do. Your videos help keep me strong, flexible, and active.
When we first locked down in April, I had to cancel my gym membership. I was accustomed to doing BodyPump classes 3 X a week. Your videos have saved me. I have done them at least every 3 days since then, mostly outside in my back yard, surrounded by my cat, dog, various birds, fountain, and plants. My gym opened briefly in the summer, but I didn't go back. Thank you so much.

this was amazing.. as someone mentioned i never thought i could be painfully relaxed .. or relaxed while in pain this gave me the right balance between my love for yoga and wanting to feel the burn .. absolutely great .. will be using more of your videos since i want to do a 30 days of pilates challenge

I really appreciate the time and attention you put into making these videos! I also appreciate your attitude of being encouraging and positive but also calming -- lots of teachers don't get the balance quite right, but you definitely do.
I would love to share your videos with others in my family, but some of them are older and would struggle with the more intense sets. Would you ever consider making some more gentle videos for seniors, or those recovering from injury?

I am a nail artist, and because of my work, my back hurts all the time. In the morning, I can't even move my right hand until I use a special back massager. I regularly work out in the gym and trained my back (thinking that weak muscles were the reason for the pain), but it didn't help me.
My suffering ended after I started practicing Pilates with Nicole. Right after the workout, I feel lightness in my body, and all the tensions go away, along with the pain in my back and hand.

It is only your classes that really make me want to and naturally smile at the relaxing end. I think it is the ability to make quality deep breath through out the exercise together with the feeling of the strength in the whole body (plus hearing your warm, calm but encouraging voice) that makes that wonderful feeling. This workout was the first pilates workout I tried and now I am doing it as part of sept series.There is huge difference in my muscle strength .I remember when I did it for the first time I took 3 break in every exercise 😅.Today I did it without any break.
