Washington is a top __ team in college football?
Top 4 for sure
oregon and washington both are top 6 teams in my opinion
Top 133 at least
I'd give them top 4, possibly 3. Not ahead of Georgia. Not ahead of us. Everyone else, you could make an argument.
7. UW is properly ranked. UW fan, but Oregon had more passing yards, had more rushing yards, had more total yards (obviously), had more first downs, had fewer turnovers, an won the time of possession battle. It's not as if UW were clearly better than UO today. Oregon just had crappy coaching with some disastrous 4th down decisions.
I was here and in a position where I had no clue if he made the kick, I thought he made it but then saw the student section go nuts and realized what we had just done. Unreal.
Go dawgs💜💛
literally same i coundn't tell but i was in the student section and everyone around me went insane
Same, I was 50 yard line behind the Oregon bench. The student section let me know haha
@@KeefWest1988 I was at the 50 behind the huskies bench
@@the.seagull.35yeah and 43 yards is no gimme for a college kicker
Same lol
I’m an SEC man, but I’m super impressed by what I’ve seen out of the PAC 12 this year. Shame that it has t be the finale.
pac12 is better than SEC for sure
@@otinpotinpo lol, you probably say this every year..... another lol @ the "defense" in this game
Terrible what happened to that conference.
The pac 12 is much deeper than the SEC this year
My grandfather played college ball back in the 1940s when it was the Pacific Coast Conference. Glad he’s not here to see it fade away.
Bro when Washington gets rolling and that crowd goes crazy, it's gonna be really really loud. Washington has one of the loudest fan bases in college football
One of the loudest fan bases in pro football also. Washington State loves its football.
This was the barnburner we all thought it would be. Even a half hour after the game ended, I was still stressed out. Unbelievable that we pulled out the dub, go Dawgs 💜💛
As a duck fan, hats off to Washington, they did what they had to, hope to see them in the Championship game.

as a duck fan, washington is really good. such a great game, ggs. hope to meet them in the pac 12 championship
If ducks keep playing how they have been it will be a rematch. They really need to convert at least 1 of those 3 4th downs and they win the game. Can't make mistakes against Washington. Ducks need to run the table and get their revenge.
As A UW Fan, I Hope So Too!
Gotta beat USC in order to get there.
If you play them again. Make sure you leave your head coach at home. I’ve never seen so many dumb decisions on his part.
@@Rainock-qz5le i love his aggressiveness but he needs to call better plays
Easily the single best sports event I have been to. The first half itself felt like an entire game of tension. Oregon completely erased the UW 11 point lead and was gaining yards all day, it was shocking that the UW made that stand on 4th down. Then to go down the field and score, and then the kick and the field rush. Amazing!
This is how 2 top 10 teams should play. Hats off to both teams. Go Ducks!
Go USC
We'll see you guys again in a few months, USC isn't beating either team. Go Dawgs
I seriously doubt any of these teams could beat the SEC this year.
@@terrance75 lay off the weed dude......
@@saeedraymond6193yeah might wanna change that go USC ending lol
The first two fourth downs I can understand Lanning going for it. Oregon usually converts on 4th and short. However the final one at Washington’s 45ish I think you have to punt. Washington has no timeouts. You could possibly pin them inside the ten. Regardless, great game from both teams and I hope we see a rematch later this year
Exactly right, but never count out Penix and his NFL receivers! 💜💜💜💜💜
There was just a bunch of mistakes on offense for the ducks, coming from a ducks fan. It’s saddening because they were easily avoidable mistakes. And that kicker needs to be replaced
punt is the choice to make
As a Duck fan, I get being aggressive and to his credit he stayed consistent with being aggressive the whole game but not punting at mid field late 4th. It was almost reckless. But I still like what I see from coach Lanning. We still have a chance to see them for the championship on natural grass
@@gordonhall9871 So was that chip shot field goal they turned down at the end of the half. They make that plus get the ball to start the second half. Foolish coaching. Cost them the victory today.
Both of these teams are really good. This whole game had ups and downs where you thought one team would win over the other. Definitely the best game this year with how aggressive the play callings were
I don't think Oregon should drop out of the Top Ten whatsoever.
Yeah this is the kind of loss that I wouldn't drop them out of the top 10. Both of these teams are good teams, and Oregon didn't necessarily play bad. Just a couple key plays/decisions made the difference. This is the type of win/loss we could see both teams move very little in the rankings unless something dramatic happens, and it likely won't affect their chances if another team stumbles later in the year.
You know how it is. One loss and a PAC 12 team is out of the College Football Playoffs. Of course, 1 loss, maybe even 2 is acceptable for the Big 10, and the SEC, conferences loved by the poll makers. And both conferences feast on weak out of conference cupcakes.
They didn’t! They’re well deserving of their top 10 ranking and so are the Dawgs
@@dh2392this is like the first time in a decade that y’all have this many teams even ranked in ur division. Stop fuckin complaining about the polls
@@Legendzzz-nc9wb yeah sure, USC, Washington, Oregon, and Utah have been ranked for years. Maybe not as high as now, but ranked none the less.
The game went down to the last play. I feel bad for the Ducks kicker but as a Husky fan I'm thrilled for the win.
just as it should. No ESPN ref bowl just 2 great teams beating the tar out of eachother.
I never watched Washington, i found out today these guys are pretty good. Penix is accurate.
Good game to both the Huskies and Ducks! Definitely one of the best games week seven or the best game of the week. Especially in front of 35 NFL Scouts. Michael Penix showed up big time along with Ja'Lynn Polk, Dillon Johnson, and Rome Odunze. Troy Franklin and Bucky Irving gave it their all. Penix is definitely a heisman candidate this season!
After today and how usc is going now he should be the frontrunner
Yeah after Caleb Williams threw 3 interceptions today Penix has gotta be in first
And kudos to Giles Jackson who filled in for McMillian-that TD grab he got was huge
@@mightymac63 The Michigan transfer came in clutch.
"forget being patient" 🤣🤣🤣
I love seeing Lanning's head explode when the Huskies got that last TD.
Lanning has got some issues. Reminds me of a dude on roids.
Oregon passing on that field goal at the end of the half was STUPID and them going for it on 4th down at midfield late was STUPID. This one's on the COACH
It's nothing new for Oregon. For whatever reason, Oregon is so committed to being unconventional and flashy that they cost themselves at least one winnable game almost every season.
I respect the coach's aggression, and he's said in the postgame interviews that he takes full blame for the loss.
Going for it on 4th was smart.
You saw how Wash. flew right down the field, he was trying to keep them from getting the ball back at all.
At least you had a chance with time because they didn't have to go that far to score.
@@ajs96350 It's a lot easier to fly down half a field than a full field. Great field position is a confidence booster, as well. Pin Washington deep inside their own 10 and it's likely a different story. Not to mention opting to not take the easy 3 at the end of the first half.
@@garrettsnedaker7378 53 yards in 2 plays, and somehow being farther back is going to keep them from moving the ball?
Congratulations Huskies. That's probably the best offense in the country, but still could easily have gone the other way. Hoping for a rematch in the conference championship.
As a born and raised MN Vikings fan, I know all about missed FGs. That sucks.
Yes. Yes, you do.
the curse of blair walsh...
He missed it are you kidding me💔😂😒
Against my Seahawks a few years ago, obviously. But it was -14,000,000° so you can't blame anyone for doing anything wrong in that game.
@@CP-tb4fl, wide right. I'm sorry that will always be a thing at FSU. Cheers
I was at this game. It was an absolute madhouse in Husky Stadium. Oregon may have won if they had chosen to punt on that 4th down play. By turning the ball over on downs, the Ducks gave the Huskies a short field, and they took advantage of that. The Ducks still could have sent it to overtime, but missed the FG. I grew up in Oregon, but now live near Seattle, so I cheer for both teams. This was definitely one of the most exciting football games I've ever seen - really just incredible. Both teams played their hearts out. Too bad one of them had to lose.
Heartbreak. This game was all it was hyped up to be
So far this has to be the game of the year. It'll be tough for any game (even the CFP) to top this.
if your talking about the game of the year from 2 ranked teams top 10 i agree but if we are talking just flat out game of the year then your wrong ..
What about Oklahoma vs Texas
Colorado vs Colorado state was the best game so far
@@isaiahfreeman7700the best meaningless game maybe. That is a stretch,
@@kec2528 none of these games matter it’s the regular season . All of these games are rivalry games
I have no idea how Penix threw that ball perfectly right between two defenders with the game on the line. If that ball isn't placed exactly at that spot, that's probably an INT and game over. Dude is clutch!
A quality Big 10 game in action!
I love your highlights, perfect length, the right amount of clips to set up the narrative and YOU DIDNT SPOIL WHO WON WITH THE THUMBNAIL!
Damn good game. As a Duck fan I'm also proud of the Huskies. Both teams looking stellar. Only one could win.
No y’all are just had and can’t close out a game
Go Dawgs! Instant classic and hard fought game between the huskies and the ducks 👏
That kicker is never gonna live that down. I just hope he doesn’t get death threats

One of the greatest games at Husky stadium. It rivals the Miami win in 2000.
That "injury" was quite suspect... dude grabbed every part of his body and then walked off.
yea that was planned by lanning...any team that fakes injuries for a timeout losses all my respect
He faked it to stop the clock (official timeout) and not burn their last time out. But Karma got them back with the missed FG. 🤷🏻♂️
@@BrockBricksevery team does it
Did it last year too…😂
@kevinmcfarland4322 that doesnt make faking injuries any less disgraceful
Such a great game by both teams. Go Dawgs!
GREAT GAME BY BOTH TEAMS!
Oregon’s head coach isn’t going to get any sleep tonight should’ve punted and trusted his defense
No he shouldn't have. Watching the ending confirmed what I thought. They scored in 2 plays and drove 52 yards. They would've done it anyway
@@Parzival0they were at the 50 yard line. Not difficult for their offense
@@Parzival0 No that was dumb play calling punt the ball you know it you gave up 6 points trying to be cocky and not take the points when you had the opportunity. that was dumb coaching at finest
@@millionaire_Bradyyou say I know it yet I 1000% would've made the same call as him so you are wrong don't tell me how I think lol. In my opinion it was great coaching trusting your players and trying to win the game. Argument can be made kicking the field goal each time leaves 4 off the board. Not to mention they only left 3 total on the board. Washington was immediately stopped after the 2nd 4th down and oregon followed up with a TD. If oregon kicks 3 Washington isn't pinned in their own 5 and likely drives and scores points based on how things had been all day.
@@millionaire_Brady No, it was smart.
If he punted, Wash. eats all the time going to score and you lose.
He goes for it and fails, they score quick and it leaves you time for a chance (which you had)
If you go for it and get it, you win, simple. It wasn't stupid or flashy, it was smart.
This game was the absolute best one I have ever seen. I was watching it at the gym cheering for the dawgs and there were 15 people behind my treadmill staring at the screen. God what a great game
Those two schools are tough. Beast mode on both sides
Both these QBs played as the best in all cfb point blank period
Thanks for posting this. I missed the game and I thought it would be at night.
Im so glad I attended this game
Just two phenomenal teams, somebody had to win !
This was absolutely heartbreaking. If we'd made just ONE of those fourth downs.... It was a really good game, but it did take me a day or so to recover. (I had to bail on my D&D game [not actually D&D, but easier reference to just call it that] that night, I was too depressed.) And as though for an encore, both my football teams that were playing the next day lost in the same fashion, a missed field goal that would have either won the game or sent it to overtime.
As a result the biggest triumph in the sporting world for me this past weekend was that my Marble Team qualified for the Marble League. Which I AM happy about, but still.... Yeah... it was not a good weekend for my teams. Hoping the Chargers can give me a decent ending tonight. (Though I don't hold out a lot of hope. Got a pretty good offense, but the defense is too full of holes.)
Regardless of the team they field, Oregon is always in the running for ugliest uniforms.
They should only wear green and yellow unis for rivalry games. Unimportant ones they can go with highlighter garbage.

4:19 Ferguson grabs his left hamstring, then decides it's his right knee that's injured. Hutson pulled the same crap last year. Karma!
I know you guys saw that oregon receiver do a soccer dive out of bounds @3:57 like he got hit. They got to start penalizing players for that to discourage it. If the defender ran into him a bit more it would have looked more believable
Faking injury Karma got the quacks
PENIX got that heisman warming up
Bruh 😫 the defense in this game was better than the offense. Good game to watch.
devistating loss but credit to Washington. They are such an outstanding team, so much talent in those Huskies
Hope you had a good time with family
Good game! Oregon gambled on 4th at midfield late in the game showing coach was not trusting his defense…. and lost the game as a result. Great players on both teams.
REMATCH...ooooh boy. God bless us. What a fight. I dont remember a game ON for 60 min with near perfect play on both sides of the team. This one was EPIC
Just like last year's game..Late in the 4th the Ducks had 4th and 1 inside their 35 yard line w/the game tied at 34. Instead of punting and pinning UW deep, they ran the ball and the RB slipped behind the LOS for a loss and UW took over and got the GW field goal
Deja Vu again on that 4th and 3 with over 2 minutes left-instead of punting the Ducks missed and UW gets the winning TD
The two missed 4th downs inside the Husky 10 yard line cost them at least six points and the game
What a great game on both sides of the ball by Washington and Oregon.
PAC12 giving us some good college Football.that game was like a bowl game
I’m happy for Washington
PUNT THE DAMN BALL! Shame on Lanning, terrible call to go for it. You have to punt it and make Wash go at least, at least 80 yards in 2 min with no timeouts.
So 25-30 more yards? When they averaged 26 per play on the last drive. Hmmm so washington takes 1 more play to score and gives oregon less time to respond? Glad you aren't coaching 😂😂😂
Why? Oregon had two good shots to win it. First on the 4th down play itself and then later on the final drive of the game. If the offense executed either time, they win. If their defense keeps the huskies out of the endzone, they win. Shame on the players not the coach lol
@@conehed1138 yup. the field goal after the turnover would have been the right call to me, but going for it at midfield is the perfect play call. you rush for 2 yards and you INSTANTLY WIN. why would you not ever do that
it was smart play. Penix is Heisman front runner. They had 2 1/2 minutes. Field position dont matter. They are out of Timeouts. A first down wins the game. Washington scored easy as hell after the miss but they would have done the same off punt and Oregon would have had even less time to try to get last score.
@@CaptainXD only way you dont do it is if you have bad offense or the team your playing offense is trash. then it makes sense. but neither of those were the case between these two teams in a shootout. going for it obviously the right call in this situation
Oregon not out of the CFP yet but they need to win out and beat Washington in PAC12 championship.
We are both in the North.

The clock stopped between the first and second play of that last possession. Chains had been moved. The field ump did not wind the game clock.
That was the 2011 USC game all over again for Oregon.
2:12 Taking consideration ”Washington used up three timeouts”, punt might be a good choice for Oregon, I feel...🙁🙁
We are a very pro Husky family and during the watch party, my uncle said they were gonna punt and everyone agreed with him.

The most frustrating thing is watching teams change in the final minutes of a game and play conservative on defense by rushing 3 and dropping 8. Especially when they are more open than when they come out in Dime or Nickel.
