I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

This was an awesome game b/w 2 heisman trophy candidates. Penix and Nix each traded picks in the 3rd quarter, but in the end, Michael Penix has more plays down the stretch. The thing I worry about Washington is the play of their defense giving up big plays in the CFP
The Husky defense, despite giving up 31 points to a great Oregon offense, had some huge stops in this game.
@@Lutefisk_Fettucciniyup the defense has shown pretty much all year despite it's limitations when they need to they can get a stop and with THAT OFFENSE that's honestly all you can ask for
You should also worry about Michael Penix getting pressured in the pocket… I’m really surprised that Lanning didn’t blitz more in this game…
@@jcas98jche did blitz, but Dillon Johnson was in the back field and made several blocks. Just out of curiosity did you watch the whole thing? Washington's Oline had a great game.

The Huskies’ HC(2nd season) Kalen DeBore picked Penix in 2019 as an OC/QC Indiana football team,
Now, he's made a breakthrough here called "offensive innovation" with Micheal and the tremendous O-Line.
As a Ducks fan, I am so tired of this program acting like a 'premier' football team. They choke all the damn time. Now of to a new conference where they will have a 4 to 5 loss season every year👎

I've been watching the PAC-12 since it was the PAC-8. While I understand why 10 teams have left the conference, I find it outrageous that the MONEY the schools are chasing has made this inevitable.

Despite a couple drops from McMillan early on, 2 tough 4th & goal TD's by the Ducks, even a couple questionable calls including that one at the end of the first half, Huskies still find a way to win...beating a resilient, dominant Ducks team TWICE this year.

This was intense from the start till the end ! One of the best games I've ever seen !
I kept telling Ducks fans to be careful what they wish for. “We want an undefeated Washington team so we can kick their @$$e$ in the PAC-12 Championship Game.” I heard variations of that phrase repeated over and over again. Oregon was what, 9.5 point favorites? Good game be the team, but I am curious to see what kinds of excuses Oregon fans will have about this game. Perhaps they’ll hope Michigan or Georgia will beat Washington since they couldn’t do it themselves. 🤔 This game was an instant classic, and another one right down to the wire. What a game!!

@@drumagus2258 They last played Michigan in 2021, before Penix and the resurgence of the UW football program. DeBoer is doing a great job recruiting and coaching. Penix won’t be there next year, so I’m curious to see who’ll start at QB for Washington in their first year in the B1G. It’s imperative they focus on recruiting top defensive players, and being in the B1G will help with recruiting.

UW uses around 12 minutes of the 1st quarter scoring 10 points.. Oregon was actually lucky it wasn't 42- 20.
Washington coaches need to realize that rushing 3 is defeatist. Every time they rush 3, the opposing team either gets a first down or a touchdown. STOP RUSING 3!
Exactly. Another example is when Auburn rushed 2 on 4th and 31 vs Alabama and Lost. Prevent Defense doesn't prevent anything.

While I am not an Oregon fan, I am a fan of Coach Dan Lanning. I am a graduate of the University of Georgia, long time fan and supporter as a 35 year season ticket holder. Coach Lanning was a good coach at Georgia and was happy for him personally but disappointed he left Georga Having said that,I will support the Ducks and believe they will win.
