Hands down the best vault 88 build I’ve ever seen. Literally everything looks like it’s been tailored by game designers to be exactly where it is. Absolutely astonishing work
Great to hear you liked it, many thanks! I don’t use OCDecorator as it would add a mod requirement to those wanting to use my blueprints, with the junk decoration being normal items that I have placed and then made static using Place Everywhere or spawn via console commands 👍.
This is quite literally the best designed player made vault, or any vault for that matter, ever! Love your work. But seriously the intricacies of your vault, the ergonomic design. It’s brilliant!!
Wow. Just wow. First of all I love the atrium with the plants and the hanging lights and how it all just looks so welcoming. Imagine stumbling in there after months and months traveling the wastelands and suddenly everything is bright and clean and peaceful. There’s the bar and the diner and also some well-stocked shops and there’s friendly settlers with neat rooms and restrooms and all that. Further into the vault it became a bit creepy I have to admit. The long empty corridors and the dark caves and you can walk for what seems like a mile without seeing anyone. Everything is well lit, mind you, but there are shadows there, too … I don’t know if you intended this but damn it worked for me. I can imagine a whole Fallout game taking place inside that vault of yours. How on earth did you not get lost in there while building all that? How did you make all those rooms and corridors fit together? Must have taken a hell of a lot of planning. Bravo!
Never really had a problem getting lost here, although I stared working on this in July so I guess I have had plenty of time to get my bearings 😅. It did take quite a while to get the layout worked out, and went through a couple of different ones (my usual method of building and then tearing stuff down again) until I was happy with this one. I was always aiming to make a vault that was only partially completed, with the settlers trying to make do and maintain what was built as best as they can. I do like the contrast between darkness of the cavern sections and the main vault, although agree it’s a little spooky with no one wandering about. Sadly the settlers wont path much beyond the main cavern without installing mods, and would have loved to have some at the Water Pump and North cave entrance security office. Although it took far longer than I expected I am still really pleased with how it turned out, and great to hear you also liked it! Many thanks! 🙏😁
I am speechless. This is without a doubt the most beautiful and best decorated vault I have encountered. I completely recreated and furnished it. My compliments. Took up my days. Again, I don't know how you managed it, hats off to you.
Just started the quest on Vault 88 and was looking for inspirational builds to this settled and this does not disappoint! Heck a good job honestly! Awesome!
this build is my favorite i have watched several builds on Vault 88 and i can tell you this is the best one yet the decoration is outstanding i enjoyed following your movements through the halls and discovering all the places thank you very much my friend for your sharing
I’m lost for words!!! the amount of hours you have devoted to this in depth detailed build, I thank you for every single one of them! truly appreciate your effort and vision and sharing with us all!!
First thoughts wow! This is if definitely one of the best vault 88 builds I have ever seen in game. The amount of effort put into this I can only imagine, truly a gifted player this deserves a sub
Glad you enjoyed and hopefully found it useful, thanks! Building at the vault can be a little deceptive as at first you think you have such a large area to work with, but its surprisingly easy to run of room quickly. I started and then scrapped at least three different layouts before finally up with one shown in the tour. Hope your build there goes well! 👍😁.
It's astounding how much time and meticulous effort went into this build. Not only does it look amazing, but everything works perfectly, aside from the water pump that just needs a power line connection. Truly an amazing build.
Really great to hear you like the build, many thanks! Not sure what you mean about the water pump needing a power line connection. The area is a bit dark but you can see the power line running to the water pump at 18:10, or have you imported the blueprint and this connection was missing?
This makes me want to play Fallout 4 again SO BAD. I was absolutely obsessed with building my vault/settlements. After I unlocked that feature I literally stopped doing everything else for a while. 😂
lol, for each new playthrough I consider the main game as the part I have to get through to unlock the settlements, and build up enough resources to start building at them 😂
Thanks! I actually found working with the vault pieces quite fun and a nice change from working on normal settlements. Although I do use the Place Everywhere mod which really helps ease the pain of most (but sadly not all) of the janky snapping issues 🤣.
I just picked up fallout 4 on pc a couple days ago, I did play it when it released but never got that far in before I sold my ps4. I just stumbled on vault 88 for the first time and was blown away by the size and potential of the place for building, and now seeing your build has just blown me away. This is INSANE my guy, hats off to you! 🙏
Dude, I'm struggling to figure out how all the pieces fit together to even build one good room, and then I stumbled on this video and found myself in complete AWE. This looked AMAZING, and I'd be happy just figuring out how you put together your atrium! Okay, I gotta boot up the game and start cracking again. This showed a whole different level of what's possible!
Thanks! I did a building series showing how I put this vault together. One thing to bear in mind is I do use the Place Everywhere mod, so although most of the build uses vanilla snapping there are points where I clip pieces into walls or the terrain which you wont be able to do without it:
Man, this is hands down amazing. I could totally see myself living in that vault irl. Maybe as a repairman or a security guard, stalking the empty corridors, not-frequented as much by other dwellers. I could make my own place out of one of those cramped maintenance rooms - maybe equip it with a toaster and coffee pot, bring a chess set, some board games and books. Tinker with some old electronics and mechanisms, figuring out what works in what way. Maybe even build myself a spring-powered bb gun and set up a range in one of those caves. Find a secluded spot and cozy it up with a bedroll, lamps giving off soft yellow light, some chairs or pillows, make it a perfect place for secret meetings with a lovely homegirl or a place to hangout with a group of friends where we could chill, play around, talk about everything and nothing, listen to music and just be together for a few hours before our responsibilities take hold again. It really feels homely, the vault. Feels like a place where one could live his life without much to worry about, feeling safe and secure, focusing on the everyday grind and a way to spend time in a pleasant way.
I giggled like a little ass kid when I saw the foot lockers perfectly placed under the bed, edged off and directly in the middle. I do the EXACT same thing underneath every bed lol this entire vault is absolutely breathtaking. Amazing job.
Must admit I severely underestimated how long this would take, with the vault slowly being built up over a 3-month period (although this also includes making the building series for it as well). Still, really pleased with how it turned, even if I was starting to have doubts about it halfway through 😅
Oh my goodness... that has to be the best player made Vault I've ever seen. That is absolutely incredible!! All the details, it feels so professionally done, I think its your best build by far because its so different to your other builds!
Thank you for the very kind words! Although getting the place lit was a bit of a challenge I had a lot of fun working with the vault pieces, and made a nice change of pace from my usual builds. Glad you enjoyed it! 👍😁
The way all the furniture and decoration tells exactly what kind of room it is. And it is never too plain but neither too crowded. It ooks really really good. Could be made by Bethesda. Fantastic job.
I was looking for some inspiration and then i saw your video This is actually incredible dedication to the creation of Vault 88 Vault Tec should have hired you for interior design lol
Great to hear you liked it, many thanks! I think lighting was one of the biggest challenges building here, was really tempted to use a lighting mod but feel I managed to do a decent job with what the DLC provides.
@@FiddleflapsVids I hear you, man. There’s something about the way that vault 88 works where proper lighting suddenly becomes a monumental task. Especially in the first big room. You found some pretty creative ways of overcoming it though, congrats!
I left the mirelurk queen alive and made a observatory zoo cage out of her cave, just can't connect the water purifier but hey who cares I have a captured queen😂 And a legendary deathclaw in a cage down there too. Too bad the scorpions dig under walls or they would have made a nice 3rd zoo cage. Im thinking of a halfvault, in the great room built all the way up, and to the sides but cut in half so it's like a giant dollhouse... This is truly one of the best games ever, it's in my top 3 alltime.
wow, building another vault inside of that cave is a great idea. I tried to connect the already existing parts with my mainhall and it looks also very interesting.
Thanks! I wanted to make more of a feature out of what is an important part of the vault rather than just an empty cavern, and really pleased with how it turned out 😁👍.
Thanks! The build runs well in most spots although there’s a few places where I do get some nasty drops (down to around 45FPS at worst 😟). This is mostly when in the residential block looking towards the Atrium, so during the tour I angled the camera slightly away from the worst spots to try and help the video stay smooth. Not as smooth as I would have liked but found even lowering my game settings did not help, so just left everything cranked and recorded anyway 🤣
This is amazing, I wish that you could have more settlers as you wanted because the vault feels empty with the odd person walking around - I bet this is super tricky to re-create on the console version without mods
Thank you, great to hear you liked it! Sadly without mods the settlers wont path much beyond the main vault cavern. Still less settlers can be a good thing as it helps to keep the build running smoothly, and also provides less opportunities for the games wonky AI pathing to showcase the settlers trying to walk through solid walls or being utterly baffled by simple things such as stairs 😉🤣.
@@jakejoacim Not really, the settlers usually stay around one particular area so the bigger the settlement, the more empty it feels and with vault 88 it just seems abandoned sometimes lol
I just barely started this DLC for the first time and i know im late to the party but your vault is perfect and peaceful. I definitely need to plan mine carefully. I'm definitely making a man cave for my male vault brothers.
Thanks! The lighting was one of the main reasons I had previously avoiding building at the vault, but feel I have managed to do a decent enough job and happy with how it turned out 😁.
Thanks! Getting this place all furnished and decorated was a real killer, and felt like I spent more time on it than I did actually building the vault! Still really pleased with how it all turned out in the end, and great to hear you also liked it! 🙏😁
So THAT'S how you really use all that stuff. I've been winging it with my vault and I'd much rather airbnb at yours. I don't know if the exposed rock was an accident or a feature, but I like it. I'm gonna try to build around some kind of rock formation and decorate it with the heads of all the radscorpions and ghouls I had to kill (Valery Barstow included).
Great to hear you liked it, many thanks! The exposed rock walls are intended, was hoping to have the look of a pre-war vault that was not finished before the bombs fell. I feel they also help to add a bit of interest to some rooms and helps to break up the uniformity of the vault pieces 😁👍.
Im dumbfounded. This looks like it is exactly what the buildspace was specifically designed for. More so than any other V88 build i have ever seen. I have seen builds that are more flashy. Ones that are defended better. Ones with clever exploits to allow for things that shouldn't be possible. But i have NEVER seen one that feels as realistic as this one. Not even close. I would say that its even better than any vault Bethesda has made themselves. Its just so well thought out. I get overwhelmed with the large build areas. I usually just stick to the castle. But this has me thinking for sure...
Just started playing Fallout 4 a couple weeks ago and finally decided to visit Vault 88. After realising i could actually build inside after completing a couple missions I instantly went to UA-cam to try and find inspiration for a vault. This is by far the best player made one i have seen yet and i just cant believe how well detailed it actually is. I know this is probably modded but is there any chance this has be ported or can be ported to X-box? I'd love to use this design for my Vault 88 and I think this takes the cake for one of the best player builds in all of Fallout 4. Well done man and amazing work👍
Great to hear you liked it and hopefully can provide some ideas for your own vault. I don’t own an Xbox (or any current consoles) so don’t have any plans to port the build, but I do have a full series showing how the vault was put together. Using Place Anywhere you should be able to follow along and build your own version, and possibly add you own touches here and there to make it your own build 👍😊
I have no creativity for this stuff. I thought it was gonna be a vault that was already set up and we were gonna create a settlement and do experiments like vault tec did. I am having a hard time figuring out where to put anything. It's kind of frustrating because I'm actually interested in this. This is incredibly beautiful, btw.
Thank you! I found building a vault to be quite tricky and started and then scrapped three different layouts before coming up with this one 😔. The build area especially in the main cavern is also much smaller than it first looks and can be easy to quickly run out of space. If you are struggling to come up with a layout I found building the Atrium and the corridors running from it first helped, and I also have a full building series on this settlement if you wanted to see how certain parts were put together 😉.
Your videos need more views and likes😢 I find it troubling to JUST PICTURE in my head the build that I want…..Not to mention my pathetic tries to build anything decent….But oh my god….I am in love with your ideas, man! Every single project is just perfect imo. The realism of your builds. That is what I like the most. It looks real, exactly how people (in post-war, nuclear for God’s sake world) would actually rebuild their settlements, make the living in those conditions and with the tools they could find in Wasteland. Many people forget that and create such weird and surrealistic buildings….It just doesn’t match that world. But the way YOU do it is ideal🫶🏻 Incredible Incredible Incredible work!!🔥🔥🔥Thank you so much, continue creating those wonderful builds!!!! I appreciate your work, I’m sure it is very time and energy consuming for you but please, do not lose your interest. Keep it up ❤❤
Thank you for the very kind words and great to hear you are enjoying the builds! If it’s any help I generally also have no idea what something is going to look like until I start building it (apart from if its going to be a house, store, etc...), and just tend to sling pieces together until I feel it looks right 🤣. Sometimes this works out great, but mostly involves lots of building and then tearing stuff down until I end up with something I happy with. If I find a particular section is giving me problems, I find leaving it and working on a different one can help, and often becomes easier to deal with once you have some other structures in place to work around or from.
I've tried to recreate this, and I'm telling you right now folks it is a massive ball ache. Things were going fine until I got to the first double floor staircase, just after the ground floor residency. I tried so many times to get that bloody staircase to line up straight. I finally got it on in the end, but I'm still finding bits that I've had to change because they just won't fit. So all in all I tip my hat to this person, because I don't know how the frack they did this. I'm going to take an ibuprofen now. 😓
It’s probably worth mentioning that I do use the Place Everywhere mod to build, which does allow me to place pieces even if they clip into the terrain and do take advantage of in more than a few spots. Even using a placement mod I still found building with the vault pieces to be really finicky, as they often have to be placed in a certain order to snap together and at other times just refuse to do so even when they should 😔. I did a series showing how the vault was put together and lit, and might help ease those headaches if you are still trying to build your own version. The build mostly uses vanilla snapping but without a placement mod there will be some sections that you would need to change: ua-cam.com/play/PLhB__s4THkoX9xAziA4HA14s6g1i4JRzo.html
I'm always late to play games, so I'm only just starting a lot of these DLCs for the first time. I'm sitting here inside my "vault 88" amongst the dirt walls and floor, wondering how in hell I'm going to tackle building this thing because I have absolutely no idea. So I had to look on UA-cam and I think I'm even more overwhelmed. 😅
I found the vault to be a tricky space to work with, and slowly built this up over a 3 month period going through various designs and layouts until I found one I was happy with. I did a full building series covering how this was made, and might be of interest if you would like to see how certain parts or sections were put together. Hope your own build here goes well👍
Hey, this looks very impresive, and I can't build like that, but how did you get electricity? I saw some wires in the Vault Reactor and I was wondering was it mods or did you use something like a conduit, or something like that, Hope you reply.🙂
Great to hear you liked it, thanks! Power works a little differently in the vault compared to normal settlements and unfortunately is not really explained in game. Oxhorn made a video showing how it works and does a better job explaining it than I could: ua-cam.com/video/Kegj5AjucWc/v-deo.htmlsi=BvwdahBeXe5OhYQG The entrance area of the vault does not get powered via the vaults normal power grid. Those wires from the reactor run through the walls (thanks to the Place Everywhere mod) and along the ceilings to provide power to the lights I placed.
Wow, Just wow. This is Amazing, I couldn't even imagine how long this would take to make, and even with fallout 4's building system you made it look ASTONISHING! Ive seen your builds and this is definitely the best in my opinion, I will definitely be building this in my world, Thanks for the video and the time you put into creating this🫶🤙
I know its late but I tried to rebuild it from scratch from the video, issue is that I think the creator may have had a mod to allow a little clipping, after doing the "Clean Room" going through the door on the other side of the room and then on that left, it should be 4 blocks, the first corner, a hallway with window, hallway with door, then another corner, but the last corner slightly clips through the vault 88 cave wall, making it unplayable. And yes I did retrace my steps, counted each direction from the start, everything is fine, it's just slightly too far West :(
I build using the Place Everywhere mod. This is mentioned in the description and also shown in the building series covering how the vault was put together 😉👍. ua-cam.com/play/PLhB__s4THkoX9xAziA4HA14s6g1i4JRzo.html&si=fM4xSrisdl2I7r90
I’ve watched this entire build and I think it’s absolutely amazing. I too have place anywhere installed but for some reason I can only turn on/off the surface snap and workshop grid. For example I can’t precisely move the floors or scale the lightbulbs down like you do. Do you know what could cause this? Also how were you able to build the objects that aren’t in the vanilla workshop mode. In your build videos they seem to just magically appear after you hit some keys I’m guessing. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated thank you!
Great to hear you enjoyed the building series, thanks! Hopefully the issue with the precise movement and scaling functions can be fixed by turning on your NumPad, I believe Windows has turned it off by default and has caught me out few times when I have reinstalled my PC 😅. The additional objects were added using the ‘placethere’ console command followed by the objects Form ID (for example placethere 00060CB4 would spawn an ammo box), you can find these ID’s on the FO4 Wiki or looking them up in the Creation Kit. Just be aware objects spawned via this method cannot be moved around normally in build mode unless you enable Place Everywhere’s ‘Extra Object Selection’ mode . For the build vids I save the commands into batch files and then bind them to a key combination using a hot key mod, that way I don’t have to keep opening the console during the video and can spawn multiple objects at once. Hope that helps! 😁
Great to hear you liked it, thanks! Hopefully it might be able to provide some ideas you could use in your own vault, and did a series of vids covering how this was made if you are interested in seeing how certain sections (or the whole vault) were put together 👍😁.
It's a shame that the bloody navigation system tends to randomly forget you unlocked the other areas - the result is NPCs will NEVER go there ever again for that whole playthrough. At least in my experience, with or without mods, once it breaks, it stays broken. I really hate how they didn't even try to really make this DLC work, they just threw it out. But love the build!
Thanks! I have always been disappointed with the Vault-Tec DLC and felt it had and should have been so much better, with the poor lighting options and limited room selection being my biggest gripes. Not tried it myself but believe the ‘Settler Sandbox Expansion’ mod will allow settlers to path to and use all the vault sectors, along with a separate mod to fix a navmesh issue with some of the vault piece doorways.
I’m starting to build my vault, and the more and more I build the more I realize how insane this build is. Great job man, really. I have a question though, how did you get those turrets on the shelves?
Great to hear you liked it, thanks! The bathroom decoration along with quite a few other objects were added using the _placethere_ console command followed by the objects Form ID which I looked up in the Creation Kit. Objects spawned using this method cannot be moved normally without additional console commands which can be really fiddly. Enabling ‘Extra Object Selection’ within Place Everywhere however lets you select and move them like normal settlement objects. If you are on console then I believe the USO mod unlocks most of these in game assets.
For some reason i found it so hilarious that only one of the desks in the classroom didn't have a matt under the chair 😂 i can imagine all the kids fighting to not get that spot 😂
Thanks, great to hear you liked it and that it might be able to provide some ideas for your own vault! Lost track of how long I spent on this as it was slowly built up over a 3 month period, at a guess it’s probably around 70-80 hours… seem to remember spending a couple of weeks just adding decoration and at times felt like a never ending task 😅🤣
Just because you can build a vault does not mean you have to… could imagine the vault entrance and caves also making for a great (and easily defended) raider base 😜👍
Haven’t started the video yet but I decided to actually give the vault DLC a try after learning how to use the pieces and I’m curious to see what people have done with the DLC themselves.
Thanks! This was slowly built up over a three-month period and really pleased with how it turned out 😁. I also struggled to enjoy the games building and it never really ‘clicked’ for me until I started to use the Place Everywhere mod. I found it allowed me to just focus on trying to improve upon and make the stuff I wanted, rather than becoming frustrated with fighting or trying to work around the games vanilla limitations. If you feel the same way but would still like to build stuff in the game I would highly recommend it or one of its console alternatives 👍.
I'm following along with building this thing and copying where you place stuff, but there are certain areas that, despite having nothing blocking the way, it just wont place anything down. Is this where the "Place Anywhere" mod came into play? I'm trying to play my first run without mods so I can get achievements, so I'd be really upset if I have to download one. Great Vault, btw!
Great to hear you liked the build, thanks! There are a few spots where pieces clip into the terrain or walls, and so unfortunately cannot be placed without the Place Everywhere mod which I use to disable surface snapping (I believe Place Anywhere on XBox has a similar feature). I am guessing you are on console so can’t use one of the mods that enables achievements 😔. Most of the build does use standing snapping so I guess you could still follow along with most of the layout, and then take the parts you can’t replicate as an opportunity to modify and put your own spin on what I did 👍.
I am on PC, actually! To fix the achievement problem, I tried downloading a nexus mod that will allow achievements to still be aquireable, but it didn't seem to work. To make matters worse, I have no idea where to begin fixing it as I am almost completely computer illiterate. @@FiddleflapsVids
@@matsurischlaagen1757 In that case I can recommend this mod which I used in my own modded playthrough whilst still being able to get all the achievements: www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12465 For the mod to work you would also need to install F4SE: www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/42147 When using mods that require F4SE you must also remember to start the game using its launcher (f4se_loader.exe) rather than starting the game normally through Steam otherwise the mod won’t be active. If you use Vortex both mods can be installed using the ‘mod manager download’ option on Nexus which makes them super easy to install, and you can set F4SE to be the primary tool so its active if you start the game from within Vortex. Hope that helps 👍😁.
Glad you liked it, thanks! The security guard is sitting at one of the security desks that comes with the Vault-Tec DLC (I believe you can find them in the Defence menu). They function the same as normal guard posts and once assigned a settler will sit there. fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Security_desk
This build is amazing. Thank you for releasing this for us to download. I downloaded it into my world but the majority of the vault isnt lit/ getting power. Any idea why?
Great to hear you liked the build! I have had a couple of people report the same issue over on Nexus, and the only way I have been able to replicate it was to remove a normally un-scrapable vault piece as shown here: ua-cam.com/video/rD_o1IoWDDI/v-deo.htmlsi=eUHqSuR9Yzudzcrw A simple fix if you don’t have Place Everywhere is to TCL through and on to the top of the Atrium ceiling, and then connect a generator to one of the power conduits up there.
Thanks! I used the TCL command to get outside the map and run power cables from the reactor along the ceilings on the entrance corridors, along with Place Everywhere to disable the workshop timeout. You can see some of the cables that I run here: ua-cam.com/video/rD_o1IoWDDI/v-deo.htmlsi=baUy00Jrtt_YyWed&t=70

Never really had a problem getting lost here, although I stared working on this in July so I guess I have had plenty of time to get my bearings 😅. It did take quite a while to get the layout worked out, and went through a couple of different ones (my usual method of building and then tearing stuff down again) until I was happy with this one.

I’m lost for words!!! the amount of hours you have devoted to this in depth detailed build, I thank you for every single one of them! truly appreciate your effort and vision and sharing with us all!!
Great to hear you enjoyed it, many thanks! 🙏😁
This is nearly perfect! The only thing missing is a jukebox in some of the open rooms for ambiance, and extra people roaming about. Bravo 👏🏼❤
Great to hear you liked it, many thanks! 👍😁
First thoughts wow! This is if definitely one of the best vault 88 builds I have ever seen in game. The amount of effort put into this I can only imagine, truly a gifted player this deserves a sub
Thank you for the kind words and sub, much appreciated! 👍😁
Thanks for the in-depth tour. I was literally having issues in figuring out how my vault will look like, but this build-tour was really something!
This has gotta be one of the most detailed builds, can’t imagine the time you put in. Thank you for sharing and keep it up! You’re amazing
Must admit it took much longer than I was expecting but really pleased with how it turned out. Great to hear you also enjoyed it, many thanks! 🙏😁
Phenomenal! Excellent idea to open the vault up like that such a cool and clever idea
Great to hear you liked it, many thanks! 👍😁
Best 88 build on YT. Not even blowing smoke. Awesome dude.
Awesome to hear you liked it, many thanks! 👍😁
This is hands down the best vault I’ve seen. Your builds are fantastic but this would have been on another level of planning. Great work
Many thanks for the very kind words, and awesome to hear you enjoyed it! 👍😁
Just stumbled across this - absolutely unbelievable build mate. You should be proud!
Great to hear you liked it, many thanks! 🙏😁
This makes me want to play Fallout 4 again SO BAD. I was absolutely obsessed with building my vault/settlements. After I unlocked that feature I literally stopped doing everything else for a while. 😂
lol, for each new playthrough I consider the main game as the part I have to get through to unlock the settlements, and build up enough resources to start building at them 😂
You clearly have more patience than I do, particularly with janky snapping. Well done!
Thanks! I actually found working with the vault pieces quite fun and a nice change from working on normal settlements. Although I do use the Place Everywhere mod which really helps ease the pain of most (but sadly not all) of the janky snapping issues 🤣.
@@FiddleflapsVids i should bite the bullet and get it. I already use OC Decorator and love it haha
Thank you! Great to hear you liked it and hopefully might be able to provide some ideas if you decide to try building your own vault. 👍😁
One thing to bear in mind is I do use the Place Everywhere mod, so although most of the build uses vanilla snapping there are points where I clip pieces into walls or the terrain which you wont be able to do without it:
ua-cam.com/play/PLhB__s4THkoX9xAziA4HA14s6g1i4JRzo.html&si=ueFnNCOxpORkmLkQ
Great to hear you liked it, many thanks! 🙏😁
IT'S INCREDIBLE !
One might believe that the shelter was made by Bethesda.
The level of detail is crazy.
You did a great job!!!!
Great to hear you liked it, many thanks! 🙏😁
I giggled like a little ass kid when I saw the foot lockers perfectly placed under the bed, edged off and directly in the middle. I do the EXACT same thing underneath every bed lol this entire vault is absolutely breathtaking. Amazing job.
Great to hear you liked it, many thanks! 🙏😁
I would not have been able to plan all of that. Must have taken ages!
Great to hear you liked it, many thanks! 🙏😁
Clearly the best vault i've seen on youtube, hats off !
Great to hear you liked it, many thanks! 👍😁
This Vault is definitly one of the best Player Build Settlements i have ever seen.
Great to hear you liked it, many thanks! 🙏😊
probably the best looking build I've seen for V88 so far
Thanks, great to hear you liked it 👍😁
Amazing work , this is by far the best vault i've ever seen.
Great to hear you enjoyed it, many thanks! 👍😁
I was looking for some inspiration and then i saw your video
This is actually incredible dedication to the creation of Vault 88
Vault Tec should have hired you for interior design lol
Thanks! Great to hear you liked it and hopefully can provide some ideas for your own vault 👍
I really appreciate the commitment to authenticity here. This build is perfect, you even got the lighting right!
I left the mirelurk queen alive and made a observatory zoo cage out of her cave, just can't connect the water purifier but hey who cares I have a captured queen😂
And a legendary deathclaw in a cage down there too.
Too bad the scorpions dig under walls or they would have made a nice 3rd zoo cage.
Im thinking of a halfvault, in the great room built all the way up, and to the sides but cut in half so it's like a giant dollhouse...
This is truly one of the best games ever, it's in my top 3 alltime.
lol, sounds great! Even if somewhat a little dangerous! 😅😂
@@FiddleflapsVids It was difficult making, I died a few times. A underground settlement video with a sneak peak of the observatory is just online.
Despite the fact your name makes me chuckle every time...your builds are friggin killer.
Great to hear you enjoy the builds, and that my silly name serves its intended purpose and provides you a chuckle 😉😂
Amazing job! I always have trouble building vault 88. This is impressive and inspiring!
Glad you liked it and hope it might be able to provide you some ideas for you own vault build 👍
wow, building another vault inside of that cave is a great idea. I tried to connect the already existing parts with my mainhall and it looks also very interesting.
Great to hear you liked it, many thanks! 🙏😁
I was waiting for this! Amazing as always! Thank you for sharing. :)
Great to hear you enjoyed it, many thanks! 🙏😁
I like what you did with the water pump area, it makes it much more appealing.
Thanks! I wanted to make more of a feature out of what is an important part of the vault rather than just an empty cavern, and really pleased with how it turned out 😁👍.
This build is breathtaking ! The lore is so good !
Great to hear you liked it, many thanks! 🙏😁😁
yey there it is, looking so good! I'm probably going to watch it again, so many details- your fps seem fine it's crazy!
Is 27 not good enough?
@@jakejoacim Not really, the settlers usually stay around one particular area so the bigger the settlement, the more empty it feels and with vault 88 it just seems abandoned sometimes lol
That guard is definitely hunched over asleep in his chair. 0:45 Build looks great man 👍.
He's not sleeping, he's just resting his eyes 😉. Glad you like the build, many thanks! 👍😁
I just barely started this DLC for the first time and i know im late to the party but your vault is perfect and peaceful. I definitely need to plan mine carefully. I'm definitely making a man cave for my male vault brothers.
Great to hear you liked it, many thanks! Had a lot of fun planning and building this and hope you also enjoy creating your own man cave 👍😁.
The lighting is always a pain in the arse but you made it look good. Fantastic work!
Thanks! The lighting was one of the main reasons I had previously avoiding building at the vault, but feel I have managed to do a decent enough job and happy with how it turned out 😁.
This has gotta be the best vault 88 I have ever seen.
Awesome to hear you liked it, many thanks! 🙏😁
Yes man! I've been waiting for the vault 88 build, it looks dope.
Glad you liked it, many thanks! 😁
Probably the best vault build out there.
Great to hear you liked it, many thanks! 🙏😁
Out standing work truly out standing work this is the reason why I love making your builds in my game❤😊
Great to hear you are enjoying the builds, many thanks! 👍😁
I love the vault man I can’t wait to do this I gotta do nuka world first tho but still I cant wait
Thanks! Hope you enjoy Nuka World! 👍
It's amazing, I'm trying to replicate this but it's insane. And the precision of your decos, omg, a thousands kudos.
10/10 on space utilization for the seperated areas
Thanks! 🙏😁
Best build I've seen I reckon Bethesda should employ you. That's a work of ART.!!!
Great to hear you liked it, many thanks!
Amazing job, man. It’s literally better than most of the Bethesda’s vaults
Great to hear you liked it, thanks!
Great to hear you liked it, many thanks! 🙏😁
Dude this actually looks like something created by the game Bethesda should hire you!!
Glad you liked it, thanks! 👍😁
Bethesda should hire you to design locations for the upcoming Fallout games. This looks so much better than Bethesda build vaults. Great works.
Thanks for the very kind words, really happy to hear you enjoyed it!
Great work, looks amazing!
Thank you! Cheers! 😁
Simply amazing. First time playing, just found the vault and looking to make a terrible rendition of this amazing work. Kuddos, broseph
Great to hear you liked it, many thanks! 👍😁
This is an amazing vault build, great stuff well done
I am glad you liked it, many thanks! 😁
Your videos need more views and likes😢
I find it troubling to JUST PICTURE in my head the build that I want…..Not to mention my pathetic tries to build anything decent….But oh my god….I am in love with your ideas, man! But the way YOU do it is ideal🫶🏻
Incredible Incredible Incredible work!!🔥🔥🔥Thank you so much, continue creating those wonderful builds!!!!
This is REALLY impressive. Great job!
Many thanks! 🙏😁
少ないアイテム数で綺麗にVault表現しててすごいなぁ。

Simply on another level. Best 88 I've seen by far.
Thank for you the very kind words, glad you enjoyed it! 😁👍
Absolutely amazing, great work i just starting to build my vault thanks for the inspiration🤘
Great to hear you liked it, and that hopefully the build will be able to provide some ideas for your own, thanks! 👍😁
Im so glad people are still playing.
I know not everyone enjoys it but I find the settlement building system adds so much replayability to the game 😁.
The build mostly uses vanilla snapping but without a placement mod there will be some sections that you would need to change:
ua-cam.com/play/PLhB__s4THkoX9xAziA4HA14s6g1i4JRzo.html
I could get lost in this vault. Damn this is amazing
Thanks! 🙏😁
Hope your own build here goes well👍
@@FiddleflapsVids Thank you! I will check out your other video! 😚
Oxhorn made a video showing how it works and does a better job explaining it than I could:
ua-cam.com/video/Kegj5AjucWc/v-deo.htmlsi=BvwdahBeXe5OhYQG
The entrance area of the vault does not get powered via the vaults normal power grid. Those wires from the reactor run through the walls (thanks to the Place Everywhere mod) and along the ceilings to provide power to the lights I placed.
@@FiddleflapsVids, Thank you, it was really useful to me, now I can build a better Vault.😁
Wow, Just wow. This is Amazing, I couldn't even imagine how long this would take to make, and even with fallout 4's building system you made it look ASTONISHING! Ive seen your builds and this is definitely the best in my opinion, I will definitely be building this in my world, Thanks for the video and the time you put into creating this🫶🤙
Great to hear you liked it, and hope you have fun building your own version 👍
Just be aware objects spawned via this method cannot be moved around normally in build mode unless you enable Place Everywhere’s ‘Extra Object Selection’ mode
.
For the build vids I save the commands into batch files and then bind them to a key combination using a hot key mod, that way I don’t have to keep opening the console during the video and can spawn multiple objects at once.
Hope that helps! 😁
I’m currently working on my vault 88 following another UA-camr but this is awesome!
Great to hear you liked it, thanks! Hopefully it might be able to provide some ideas you could use in your own vault, and did a series of vids covering how this was made if you are interested in seeing how certain sections (or the whole vault) were put together 👍😁.
Awesome build! It's given me so many ideas.
Great to hear you liked it and that the build can be of some use for you own, thanks! 🙏😁
My jaw dropped when i seen this! This vault is amazing.
Great to hear you liked it, many thanks! 🙏😁
I'd live in this vault.
Thanks! 👍😁
I’m starting to build my vault, and the more and more I build the more I realize how insane this build is. Great job man, really. I have a question though, how did you get those turrets on the shelves?
Thanks! I build using the Place Everywhere mod and used its option to disable surface snapping to place those turrets.
Most epic vault 88 build I've ever seen.
Great to hear you liked it, many thanks! 🙏😁😁
Wow, these builds are amazing!
Glad you like them, many thanks! 🙏😁
This looks really good
Thank you! 👍😊
It’s stunning!! I have to ask where did you get some of the bathroom decor like showers??? I have been looking for something like that for ages
@@FiddleflapsVids thank you!!
For some reason i found it so hilarious that only one of the desks in the classroom didn't have a matt under the chair 😂 i can imagine all the kids fighting to not get that spot 😂
😅🤣
This is great, I will use your settlement as a preference for my own vault build. Just one questions, how long did it take to build this vault?
Thanks, great to hear you liked it and that it might be able to provide some ideas for your own vault! Lost track of how long I spent on this as it was slowly built up over a 3 month period, at a guess it’s probably around 70-80 hours… seem to remember spending a couple of weeks just adding decoration and at times felt like a never ending task 😅🤣
After finally deciding I should build my own vault it just ended up looking like a raider base💀
Hopefully the video was able to give you some ideas 👍
Wow this must've taken ages. I struggled to get on with the whole settlement building mechanic
@@matsurischlaagen1757 In that case I can recommend this mod which I used in my own modded playthrough whilst still being able to get all the achievements:
www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12465
For the mod to work you would also need to install F4SE:
www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/42147
When using mods that require F4SE you must also remember to start the game using its launcher (f4se_loader.exe) rather than starting the game normally through Steam otherwise the mod won’t be active.
If you use Vortex both mods can be installed using the ‘mod manager download’ option on Nexus which makes them super easy to install, and you can set F4SE to be the primary tool so its active if you start the game from within Vortex.
Hope that helps 👍😁.
Nice build! Looking like a true vault 😄 by the way, how do you assign your settler to sit at the security office?
Glad you liked it, thanks! The security guard is sitting at one of the security desks that comes with the Vault-Tec DLC (I believe you can find them in the Defence menu). They function the same as normal guard posts and once assigned a settler will sit there.
fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Security_desk
This build is amazing. Thank you for releasing this for us to download. I downloaded it into my world but the majority of the vault isnt lit/ getting power. Any idea why?
Great to hear you liked the build! I have had a couple of people report the same issue over on Nexus, and the only way I have been able to replicate it was to remove a normally un-scrapable vault piece as shown here:
ua-cam.com/video/rD_o1IoWDDI/v-deo.htmlsi=eUHqSuR9Yzudzcrw
A simple fix if you don’t have Place Everywhere is to TCL through and on to the top of the Atrium ceiling, and then connect a generator to one of the power conduits up there.
Absolutely amazing as always and one question how did you power the entrance??
Thanks! I used the TCL command to get outside the map and run power cables from the reactor along the ceilings on the entrance corridors, along with Place Everywhere to disable the workshop timeout.
You can see some of the cables that I run here:
