Luck is the dump stat of FO4. Most of its perks are only useful for crits, which you can only use in VATS (you don't really need them tbh bc the real time shooting is pretty good anyways). Even if you are a VATS fiend you're better off dumping points into Agility and Perception.
1. He doesn't scold me when I consume 28 different kinds of booze and several highly addictive chems on top of that. 2. He provides me with a +2 Luck bonus. Bro deserved the pie.
I remember my first time getting the pie. It was back during launch year. I had 10 luck. And don't get me wrong, I know it was a lucky draw on that one. There ain't no way 10 luck was enough, when it took you 128 to get it on one shot. It took me sitting there for about 10 minutes trying it to see if it ever just gave it to you eventually... Figured that would be long enough a 'test'. Sure, I did get it... but I doubt it was due to that idea; and was more just because I got seriously lucky IRL.
It's a 450-hour save, and I have a bit too much of everything, including x-cells. My goal was to max out Luck; and even with 128 Luck there is only a 25% chance to get a PPP. I was just... lucky, he-he.
@@CaptainFynx Really? Only 25%. I have several, most from even before I got the booze luck perk and until this vid I did not know that the booze boosts stack. So I have only gotten two since I tried boosting my luck first. Of course, I have only found about three since then and I do not know of any that refill, so they are probably all tapped out except for the ones I failed on, and I did not track that in any way.
There are 7 Amontillado bottles that you can find in the Castle during the main story. They are also named "wine", but have a different id and a different label.
Companion: "Hey, can you try to win me one of those pies?"
Lone Survivor: "Yeah, no sweat 😎" *Chugs 1 million beers*
what i learned: if you drink enough beer even a 200 year old pie appears to be perfectly fine
Meanwhile me putting 2 into my luck every new game (I'm a 10 strength rat)
10 strength 10 luck is so op tho
And I’m dog whos maxed every stat
7 strength, 7 luck, 7 charisma. Pretty balanced imho

BY THE NINE I'M TWEAKIN
Huh. Never knew Party Boy/Girl rank 2 made every alcohol variety stack for +2 Luck. This perk just got a whole lot more appealing!
@Thieverpedia, it's Rank 3 and it gives you a stackable +3 Luck.
Everyone is made of pie in your dimensions
That fire belly didn't insta kill you. That alone proves the luck stat worked
It killed me when I was trying to kill Shipbreaker with my bare fists, but that's a story for another video.
Didn’t even know you could get it
You probably could have held on to the X-Cell.
Invest in Black cats ! 👀

What would you dooOOO . . . . For the PPP!?
first time i have seen that happen
I downloaded a mod that lets you smash the glass on the port-a-diners
It more satisfying to break into it
You should have started checking after a few quafs. 128 is likely the max and you may (have wasted) not have needed some of those.

@@cosmicraysshotsintothelight Yeah, each point of luck adds 0.2% chance, and each attempt adds 0.05% or so.
My that put 10 in lucky and never got one 💀
I would have disintegrated if he had failed
me when im passing exam
I found one of those pies in a food o matic or whatever lol
Nuka world dlc?
@@irregularrex4004 Nope, somewhere along the automaton questline I think...
Interesting. I heard there was two in Nuka world. That's where I finally got one from a machine but I think it's guaranteed first try.
Please take some Rad-away🙏
it is worth it only for one 200yo pie?
Absolutely.
What's the story with the 2 different wines?
There are 7 Amontillado bottles that you can find in the Castle during the main story. They are also named "wine", but have a different id and a different label.
@@CaptainFynx I knew of those bottles but didn't realize they are only called "wine" but still count as a separate drink. Thank you for the education.
@@TheInsaneShecklador They still override each other in terms of basic stats, but count as a separate drink for the Party Boy/Girl 3 perk.
@@CaptainFynx 👍
Does this work on any vending machine or just a specific one?
Any. It's about 0.2% per luck point.
Sweet to give to your boyfriend
Wait you can actually get that? Do you need a mod or something?
No, it's just a very low chance, about 0.2% percent per luck point, but it gets better with every attempt.
But what's the point? Does it do anything, or is it just more crap you stick in the workbench, lol.
@@williamallen7386 You can make a video about this for UA-cam, also some people do speedruns. But overall, yeah, you just stick it in your workbench.
I dont see any reason to run luck based build except in new vegas (economically responsible build)
More crits
The critical vats fills up faster the more luck you have, and the vats hits easier, plus the luck perks are the most broken in fallout 4
