In specific conditions you can drive even under 4L...mostly in spring or autumn when you don't have to heat too much or run A/C...and one important thing...never drive in B mode...it's engine braking and not increased recuperation...on the contrary, in this mode recuperation is limited...

Yaris Cross Hybrid 2WD, 17 inch rims, some moderate quality winter tires (in winter 0 degree C) about 6.5 L/100 km in a city with a lot of hills... dunno what to say, maybe in summer with ecocontact6 tires will be better... the car tells me i need to learn how to drive a hibrid :) but on overal it gave me "good" as score and EV score was 80...
Wind, hills, road type, tires and many others can affect the fuel consumption. Also driving above 90km/h (56 mph) will increase the consumption. Hopefully you will find the way to drive economically. Have a great day my friend :)
