When you were doing your sticky note board analysis, you questioned about the meaning of "across all" and "across VPs" means. I think it might be "across all [players]" and "across veteran players"
Note that the sticky notes for both categories are the same color, but Across VPs has an extra orange and yellow sticky notes. On the board, some notes have these little extra notes, where the yellow and orange small ones both appear separately and overlap. This structure would work well for the veteran details being additional moments on top of the major plot beats that everyone experiences.
I speculate that these small notes having two colors are to differentiate between pre- and post-forsaken veterans. I can certainly imagine that it would be important to have different dialogue for players who met cayde and those who never did.
So the structure of the sticky notes would be the base note with the overall plot point, then the smaller notes would describe the differences that veteran players experience. Like:
Blue Note: Player enters the Pale Heart, and meets Crow and Cayde
Orange Note: Post-BL veteran player approaches Crow first, who then introduces them to Cayde
Yellow Note: Forsaken-era Veteran player has emotional reunion with Cayde.

Noticed how there is a secondary text next to Witness that is blurred out. I am gonna say when we fight him he will change his stance and that mask will come off. Witness will no longer be cute cat eyes dude. That blurred out name might be his final form name or something.

I will admit that 7 to 8 mission is a little to low for the final expansion in the Light and Darkness Saga. Most people are going to blow through those missions within the first day or first few hours. I really really hope that Bungie has crafted a strong and engaging post-campaign cycle that keeps players engaged.
