- Float out of Genting Dream at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany on August 19, 2016. The Genting Dream is 335.35 m long, 39.7 m wide and has a gross-tonnage of 151300 gt. She is the first vessel for the new cruise line "Dream Cruises".

That small boat pulled me and the rest of the crew with our ship from the middle of the Indian ocean to Diego Suarez in Madagascar, took 3days, it was brand new at the time and based in Mombassa, what a surprise to see it on the internet now!!
I'm loving the bowling alley here on the cruise ship. Munch snacks and bowl all day!

this ship is beautiful... and im proud of genting since they are really world class in treating their guess, staff and workers... this ship is a really a state of the art but honestly it kinda look like a norwegian cruise line ship...

Super Video. Erst bei den brillianten Zeitrafferaufnahmen kann man sehen, wie stark sich das Schiff beim Ausdocken seitlich bewegt. Das überrascht mich irgendwie immer wieder. Absolut Top. Daumen deutlich nach oben. Gruß Unimedien.
Das mit der seitlichen Bewegung ist mir auch aufgefallen. Bei meinem Zeitraffer vom Ausdocken der Ovation war deutlich weniger Bewegung zu sehen (sie ist ja auch breiter). Ich finde es immer wieder spannend, was im Zeitraffer alles so sichtbar wird.

Impressive Construction, but I cant imagine a worse holiday than being on that vessel for a 10 day cruise with 4000 other people
Totally agree. I would never waste my time on that kind of holiday. Norfolk virus anyone? I'm more interested in seeing some ancient ruins than watching white caps on the ocean.
Spending more than a few hours in that giant floating hotel would be a personal nightmare. Way too many people crammed on a top-heavy barge.

This is just a Breakaway-plus class ship but with less passengers. I'm confused with people calling it crowded.
Neat vid, but I much prefer a smaller more intimate ship over those huge impersonal floating warehouses.
