What a great video, just goes to show that you can't keep an ol small block down Looks like Jerry is really in his element there Keep up the awesome content
Ugly Truck lactose intolerant. Air cleaner proves the point. Eight point sparkerator. Fails to light up the joint. Quadracarb clog via ice cream. Jerry rig.. no go.. rebuild now. Running smooth, just a dream. Patience, Em n' Jer now bow. Soon, the planets align just so. Exhaust spills it's vial soup. Smallblock runs, trans is a go. All good, jump no further hoop. Been busy with work.. hope to view more regularly going forward.✔️👍
Great stuff! 😆 Good to see ya, Ray Bann! Hate to hear that work is getting in the way of fun, but we always look forward to your comments! 👋 --Emily and Jerry
Great video as always Jerry and Emily!!! I'm glad the rings didn't rust to the cylinder wall and bust off!! That's great!!! She runs really good!!!! AND the tranny works!!! BONUS!!!!! my old Quadrajets were always really good to me. Good fuel milage and THE SOUND!!!! WAHHHHHHH WAHHHHHH!!!!! NEVER can it be imitated!!! ROFLMFAO!!!! Yah I'm a dork!!! I don't care!!!! The big secondaries is what made such an awesome deep sound. Have a great one guys!!!
That carburetor really does have a distinct sound. I never really thought about that. They are cool. Glad your a Quadrajet lover also. We haven't had anybody hating on them so far. Thanks as always. Jerry and Emily
That was so fun! Thank you so much for the entertainment lol I’m not a gearhead, but I totally enjoyed your Frankenstein video. You took a piece of crap and turned it into a diamond. By the way, I know of a K5 body we need to go get 😁👍
Great video ! Also a month or two i asked about my 05 silverado cranking but would not start . It was the ground wire to the ignition coils . Thanks for your advice
Down here in Arkansas we use to call the quadrajet a slobberjet . Most problems I ever had out of them was inside the rubber fuel line deteriorating and getting in the needle and seat and causing it to flood out .
@UglyTruckExperience thanks. I had so much fun stuff to comment on with this video. I loved it! Using the basics to make an engine run. Meter the fuel, some sort of compression and some spark, and it'll run. Wish I could have been ther to have a back and forth with Professor Jerry .
I have a question where do you get your butt connectors and shrink tubbing? I have a 1995 OBS LS swap and a 1986 Square Body LS swap! Love the videos! I need to get cruise control on the 1986 Square Body! Thanks for putting out these videos!
LOL U SAID BUTT 🤣 Thanks Vee Jay! Here's a link to the butt connectors we use. amzn.to/48mWd7D And here is a link to the heat shrink. amzn.to/4fjYG51 We appreciate you watching our stuff! --Emily and Jerry
Hello Shaun. We send them LT1swap.com. He has a great website that explains all the info that he needs. He has always done a great job for us. Thanks. Jerry
Hello Earl. It was originally a 305 and I think they might have used the 305 timing cover for some reason. I never did see the timing mark come around to it with a timing light on it. It is a 010 block though. It is great that you noticed that. Thanks for watching. Jerry
@@UglyTruckExperience Well that's a 'good sign' for the rebuild. Nothing like assembling an engine while leaving no way to know your actual crank position. :)
My first truck had a 350 with a quadrajet. I loved when the secondary’s opened up she would sing.
Quadrajets really do deserve more love! Thanks for tuning in, Burban! --Emily and Jerry
Sweet! 1.2 hours of awesome. I was excited to see this. Can't believe you got that for $200.
So many great parts to reuse ❤
Thanks Bonkers! Glad you're liking the longer videos! We appreciate you tuning in! --Emily and Jerry

I think your a huge gearhead. We weren't really going to throw that nasty fuel in your yard by the way.
I feel your pain with the ol 350 carb 😂
The carb wasn't that big of a problem, but the boogers in the bottom of it sure was! 🤣 Thanks for tuning in! --Emily and Jerry
I love watching your videos, that was fun!
Thanks so much, David! Thanks for hanging out! --Emily and Jerry

Slobberjet! We'll add that one to the list! 😆 Thanks for tuning in, Billy!
So many comments I wanna make because Jerry and I are so much alike. I love it. But this is the perfect time for a clear plastic fuel filter.😂😂😂
I'd love to hear the Squarebody Stuff commentary on this one. I'm sure you know your way around a Quadrajet! 😆 Congrats on 24K!

Hey could you guys recommend a shop that does vats delete
Hello Shaun. We send them LT1swap.com. He has a great website that explains all the info that he needs. He has always done a great job for us. Thanks. Jerry
Judging from that timing tab, I think your rebuilt 350 might be a 305.
