Tachikaze from Clever is very clear. This is best for anyone who like new experience moveset but don't break experience of Soulslike game like Carian Combo Warrior. I don't say Carian Combo Warrior is bad but Carian Combo Warrior is cool for Hack and Slash lover.
I agree. Im looking to get back into ER after a year away and alot of the combat mods Ive seen lately seem to be extremely overpowered and flashy, kind of killing the ER vibe I remember. Tachikaze seems to be the most fitting for ER gameplay, and Carian if you enjoy Devil May Cry style.
Katanas, Katanas, katanas galore. Wish there was a desire for some more variety. Like axes, hammers, long swords, or even daggers. Anyways, can’t wait for katana karens to tell me to watch the same light show for the 50th time.
i definitely want to see more weapon classes get some love, if i can figure out how to even make a mod, i wanna make a gideon,-centric mod and give his hammer an amazing moveset, and maybe make Knowledge Above All cooler, no way an ash with a name that cool is just an unflashy debuff
You should check out Clevers modpack. There’s a good like 4-5 katanas sure, but they added a lot of really fun and diverse movesets. Like scythes, unarmed martial arts, greatswords, staves, earthbending, airbending…. They feel a little stronger than maybe they should be when upgraded all the way. But if you’re NG+ they will probably feel more balanced the more playthroughs deep you are. But I am having a lot of fun with Clevers mods. They were so cool my high ass sobered up so I could figure out how to install Unalloyed Elden Ring so I could run all his mods at once.
I like the Carrion sword set. But I admit they look pretty OP. I'd probably keep them at maybe a +1 or so, so I'm not just melting everything that comes my way.
can't you, at this point, mod the life pools of enemies to make them more sponge-ish so you don't worry about the damage? sorry for waird phrasing, eng is not my language
@@albemezzanotte6635 You can, but I think it would just be simpler to have restraint and not upgrade the weapons to keep things more challenging. Some weapons have you moving so fast that even the damage doesn't matter all that much because you can get in and get out incredibly easy with little risk. The weapon mods effectively you give Devil May Cry types of movesets in a game built for methodical combat.
Been out of the loop on ER mods this latter half of 2023 all thanks to a particular mech game rotting my brain since its launch, but I'm glad the #1 is still being updated. Of course, the rest of the list is all great too. I do wonder if there is a way to import movesets onto that particular mech game. It'd be funny to try and parry hundreds of missiles.
For some reason the Tachikaze mod doesn't work, I enter the game with the mod but not in the Calais store, I don't have a katana in my inventory. (if anyone is messing around please help)
these mods and if you ask me, carian knights running and idle animations especially funnily enough are what fromsoft not just should but NEEDS, to make the next games weapon animations like with especially the carian knight idles and running anims cause i swear to god i REFUSE to 2 hand one handed weapons like straight swords cause of how dorky it looks cause its LITERALLY *ALL* the animations from fucking DEMON SOULS!!!! like hoenstly its time for a fresh update and a big part of me hopes that the 2 years of dlc time has been them going through and making fun and unique movesets for each weapon in elden ring that ACTUALLY match the new faster combat intention with how the bosses anims have been made to be because thats the real issue with why the bosses feel so fast.... like were trying to use demon souls animations against boss animations that have only been improving time and time again....

Because you have to check if the mod fits your version of the game. For example if your version is 1.12 and the mod is only available for 1.10 then you wont be able to use it

Why Carian Combo Warriors mod is no damage?
You probably not install it properly make sure no file of CCW gets overwritten by other mods especially the regulation.bin file
be sure to install the updated version of the mod :D
