    Wish I was part of the first 100 comments to win the Metabo! But I gotta let you know, I really enjoyed the pop up pics and quick info on the items you were using. That’s a big help to see it and read it right there rather than looking for it in the description only. Thanks Paul, keep up the great work and video content!

    Paul I really loved your new Front Gate plus your new tips to build your Front Gate. Plus your new tools I really need to purchase a cordless nail gun. My Impact cordless drill just stopped working last week I have been looking around here at the different shops for a 18 or more volt cordless drill, I'm trying to find a sale on then because they are not cheap by any means. Paul I really think I will Build this new Gate IT really looks good 👍plus it's only a one piece Gate, I like that so I will use the old wood I used to build my first Gate. I built from your Awesome Video three years ago. Wood is very expensive here in Thailand the last Gate I sealed it with a wood preserver plus termite preserver. Termites are very bad here in Thailand. Thanks again Paul for this Totally Awesome New Front Gate I am going to be building it. God Bless You Have a Blessed Day to you and your family 👪
    I built your last Gate for my Front Entrance three years ago. I made it with the lap Joints as you did. But I had one Problem with the way I mixed my Cement for my support pole to hold the Gate. The concrete footer cracked on both sides because here in Thailand we had a lot of rain that season its called rainy season here. So what I did was break up my concrete footers re mixed my concrete made the Hole wider and deeper. Bingo I was good to go my no sag Gate thanks to you I built this Totally Awesome Front Gate.

    Nice job Paul, as usual. I’m a contractor, and I watch all of you’re videos…you have some great ideas for sure. My wife and I are going to do some wood planks on a couple walls at our house, and she found a supplier to steal, I mean sell us 1/4” planks for a ridiculous amount. I remember a while back you did planks on one of your videos. I just went back and found it. I’m doing it your way! Yep you have some great tips and tricks on your videos. It’s rebranded Hitachi

    • @paulstoolbox
      @paulstoolbox  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Ramona, Metabo High Powered tools is basically what Dirtyharry70585 said. This was a merger between 2 professional tool companies. Hitachi(Popular tool co. from Japan ) and Metabo ( German power tool co. best known for heavy duty grinders). A holding company acquired them both and formed Metabo HPT, this company is aggressively adding a much larger line of both corded and cordless professional tools. I did not own many of Hitachi tools in the past but I tried out the Metabo HPT IP 56 Impact driver a couple of years ago and I have been adding to my collection ever since. I am not a brand specific person but I haven't been dissapointed with Metabo HPT tools. I have several different platforms myself because I like to test tools so I can stay informed and I also love Tools LOL! My advice to people is to stay with your platform if you like it unless you want something that is not offered in your particular platform. UA-cam has some great tool reviewers that get really in depth and are more versed with actual specs than I am. I do what I'm comfrtable with, I use tools that I like and I will give an honest opinion because I use them daily on projects. If a tool fails me or doesn't perform as well as I think it should I will not use it in my videos. I really appreciate you watching my video and I hope you come back! Thank you very much and have a great day!

      Hi Jamie, try to use Cedar 2x4's because they stay true and are mush less likely to warp or sag. Treated pine has to be completely dry and straight or it will be too heavy and it can sag. If you have any questions you can contact me through my bumpcard on the contact page.

    I have built many wood gates, My experience they all move and sag over time, this is the nature of wood.
    Now I add a small wheel a the end of the gate that sits on a brick (when closed) that is a little higher than the ground so the wheel doesn't touch the ground while opening the gate, 3 years now no sag.
