- The final evolution of the Sony Playstation Portable really is a downgrade from the 3000 series. Beside the super plastic feel, it really a lousy final move from Sony to attempt to sell more PSPs in the Europe market. This psp model have more cons than the previous one just watch the review to see the cons.

Tahead Hussain most WiFi systems have WP2 the PSP’s can not handle that strength so it’s pointless having WiFi and it’s also discontinued anyway plus it’s cheaper than all the other PSP’s in retail value

It has the same screen as the PSP 3000 so it does have scanlines. I haven't noticed too much ghosting on my 3000 however so it should be okay.

You can buy on on marketplace on Facebook, u can get psp street for 20£ with charger.
Cheers for the video! I was thinking of buying an e1000 but after I saw this video, I instantly changed my mind, I don't see the point of the e1000, it costs 60 quid from argos in the UK, but I got my pap 3000 from a pawn shop for 35 quid!

Sorry for being late... It depends what you want:
- If you want a bulky, heavy, thick one and get a nostalgic feeling: *1000* (many go still for that one for those reasons)
- If you want the 1000 in the same quality but in slim: *2000*
- If you want the 2000 but in more vibrant and sharper colours: *3000*
Even in 2021 those three still hold up pretty well and are all moddable.
The E1000 is unfortunately rather cheap and flimsy in my eyes but there are people who love her regardless so apparently she makes a good companion for some.
Concerning the PSP Go... I cannot recommend it to you. If you had a 1000 chances are you have UMDs as well which you won't be able to use on the PSP Go. She only uses memory cards. Honestly I don't know much about her since she never was an option for me who still has UMDs but I'm sure there are people who love her for her features.

My personal favorite in my collection is my god of war red psp2000 and my red and black psp god of war 3000 till this day in 2018 I plug in my component cables in the bottom jack and play on my tv in 480p capcom arcade classics collection vol 1 and reloaded vol 2 also sega genesis collection and midways arcade treasures vol 1&2 are my personal favorite rather then emulators

This is pretty much only for those that still have UMDs and need a cheap replacement for a broken one. Plus I'm pretty sure you can still throw a pro CFW on it. your accent btw made the video worth the watch. Vietnamese?
There seem to be a lot of praise for e1000/1004. But there shouldn't be.
1. Performance compared to 3000 sucks. I know, because I tried playing GTA liberty city on both, you could clearly see the difference in performance.
2. Colours also 'suck'. This is the more subjective part, but I think colours are much better in 3000.
3. The buttons are capable of being "abused" when you play games like Tekken where you need to hit multiple buttons back and forth very quickly, 3000 would do a much better job. On e1004 it feels a little too stiff for that.
But there are also advantages for e1004 too, such as a better d pad (personal preference), better ergonomics (due to its thickness), and feels more well built than 3000.

it's not good because it's in the name psp e1000 as in playstation portable elite 1000 that means it's halv as good as the original but you'r right I mean why did sony reales this as the last psp it should be the second one and if it wasen't with the name elite it should have been the first psp

I upgraded from a 1000 to a 3000. The 1000 seems better by far. I will probably put the 3000 away and grab the 1000 again.

1. the psp e1000 is the budget model of all the psps that's why its cheap and has no network capabilities
2. he missed the fact that the 2000 and 3000 models had more then double the RAM of the psp 1000
3. and he missed out the psp go
Stumbled upon your video. I dont want to rant but the way you reviewed the E1000 is bad. (not because of your accent, but your content) the reason why they released the E1000 is for budget purposes. It's a budget focused model released to the public, that's why you get mono and no wifi.
The feature is not considered lacking, but just normal for that kind of model
Also, the last iteration of PSP is the PSP3000, special iterations are PSP Go and PSP E1000, get your facts straight :P
Also, E1000 is not a downgrade, again it's a special iteration, budget friendly iteration

I totally agree with you. When I bought the psp e1000 I just wanted a console to play. I didn't care about the wifi because I wouldn't use it anyway. It was the perfect console for what I wanted

Nowadays this model is not bad cuz its cheap and sony killed the Wi-Fi things( only browsing left, but it's slow as hell). Ok maybe for some of you might want a stereo speakers, but idk I have a psp 1000 2000 3000 and the street( i don't have the go model:( ) and i am a silent person and make the volume like 1/10 and if I want more I would probably use headphones as I don't like desturbying people near me with a high volume
