Yes, lots of springs all over the state. However I think the best springs and the highest concentration of springs is about an hour and a half north of Tampa.
Very interesting about the springs. Having been a Geography Ecosystems major in college, I learned that the state of Florida is rising. Your beach front home won't be crashing into the sea any time soon like we are watching in Dana Point California.
Great question. We actually did another video on Silver Spring already which is really nice because it's one of the few places where you can kayak with wild monkeys. I've never been to Gilcrest Springs but I've heard good things. Ginnie Springs is more of a partying and camping vibe so if you're into that sort of thing I'm sure you can have a lot of fun there but if you're looking for a quiet time that is not the best place. Three Sisters is really beautiful but also really small. We were actually just at Three Sisters this past weekend and we'll be having a video reviewing that debuting on our channel shortly. Weeki Wachee is a nice ride as well although I do think Rainbow River is more beautiful. In my opinion of all the ones you listed I do think rainbow River is probably the best it's a nice easy short ride with beautiful views a wide river and easy access with the kayaks. That being said I don't think you can go wrong with any of them but if I had to only choose one I would go Rainbow River.
lived in dunnellon in 2001 went to rainbow springs almost every day, loved the nature walk
Beautiful area!
Seems Florida is literally flooded with fresh water springs. I'm looking forward to moving to Florida for my retirement.

@@larrysview good to know! Now, if we can just afford the insurance, and the taxes, maybe we can get that beachfront property. 😂
Awesome drone footage! I need to visit Rainbow River.
Thank you. It is a beautiful place!

Yes, one of our favorite places to kayak.
@@professionalweekenders awesome! its our fave place too...
Thanks nice video
Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for this amazing video! Super informative! Is there a parking area in the kayak launching area?
Thank you so much. Yes there is plenty of parking at KP Hole State Park. That is the small park with the ramp.
How is this spring compared to nearby springs like Silver, Gilchrist, Ginnie, 3 sisters, Weechi
