I travel 340 and pass two these daily. We launch our boat at heart stop by the sand bar then drive down to fanning. Its a great experience.
Looks so good!!!
Love this video!! Super helpful, I was looking for springs to visit in June and I’m glad I watched it because I didn’t see Weeky wachee here so it might not be the best 😅. Thank you!!
It is a great place, but they no longer allow swimming in the spring room for the kayaks for preservation! It is really nice, but it isn’t one of my top favorites but it’s still a lovely option close to Tampa!
You've included some of my faves! I love to see you clowning all over Florida!
You know it 😂
Green springs was a really unexpected gem! Loved it there!
I’m obsessed with green springs!
Lovely! I have not visited all of these, so I need to get going!
So many good options!
Fantastic job with this! 🙌
Thank you!!!
Blue Springs is my favorite park in Florida. Love tubing there. Other good ones not mentioned are Ichetucknee Springs, Royal Spring (not a state park but has an awesome jumping platform), and Three Sisters Springs.
Love the jumping platform! Great suggestions
Thank you ,, 🙏🏻
Of course!!!
I'd never heard of Emerald Springs. It looks amazing. I will have to visit. I've been to most of the others. Going to Rainbow today!!! Thanks to your vid. TY!
Thank you! CALL AHEAD to ask if emerald cut is CLEAR! If it has rained there may be tannins in the water making it brown!
@@FollowMeAway Went to Rainbow today. It was EVERYTHING you said and MORE! Thank you again for the info.
Bucket list for me. I need to visit more Florida springs! 💦
You do!!!
I really want to go to these!!
You must go!!!
You must go!!!
Hey which spring would you recommend that is scenic to kayak or paddle? Also can you recommend a scenic, lushy trail? Will be visiting in Orlando soon! 🥹❤️
HIGHLY recommend emerald cut near Orlando for paddling! I would call ahead to ask if the water is clear and blue just to be sure and then go next door to rock springs! It’s right near!
Ive been to devils den for a school field trip (I go to a very special school that takes us on field trips every week)
IT WAS SUPER COLD
It IS super cold! That’s an amazing trip!
Looks like fun! Are there any crocodiles? 😱🐊
No crocodiles! But there is always the possibility of alligators
@@FollowMeAway what are the chances that they will attack you?
This list is amazing! However I must say that I'm hurt you didn't mention the various springs in ponce de león, vortex, Morrison and ponce de león springs itself (i dont know if there's anymore, thats just the three I've been too personally) all of them are beautiful.
I love them all! But sadly the days I went it was VERY gloomy and the footage looks quite bad and Morrison was browned out so I couldn’t go. I considered adding vortex but it was gloomy and didn’t highlight it at its best :(
Just checked out silver glen, water was nice and cold!!😅
For sure!
Just a FYI. The 2nd w in Wekiwa is pronounced as a "v" (Wekiva). I used to swim there a LOT as a child!
My pronunciation is the proper indigenous pronunciation :) but yes a lot of people say it with the V
Can I ask you if it is a good time to visit Florida springs during February? What is the weather like? Is it suitable for swimming?
Can be anything from chilly to warm. I’ve done Feb trips where it’s like 50-60F and that makes the 72F water feel much warmer than the air! You don’t wanna get out!
have you ever gone to Poe springs or Fanning springs?
I’ve been to Poe I thought it was only okay I’ve STILL not gone to fanning bc everytime I try to go it’s browned out from the rains so the water isn’t clear and rangers tell me don’t even bother coming! This has happened every time I’ve tried! But it looks AMAZING
@@FollowMeAway Oh wow, good to know. I stay in Gainesville every July and planned on a Fanning trip this year (never saw it yet) wonder if I should skip?
In emerald cut how much to rent a kayak?
Its $49 for a single kayak, $69 for a double and $59 for a canoe!
Is morrison any good? That is the closest one to me
It looks AMAZING! Every time I’ve tried to go it’s been browned out aka the rain water makes the river high and it floods into the clear spring making it brown. So I think it looks amazing I’ve just not been able to go!
Morrison Spring is cool because it's completely free and has a few facilities and has tons of parking. Can get crowded. It's not a state park so it's not as regulated. Mainly for swimming and jumping from trees. And not to mention it's convenient off of I-10 but people driving through don't know about it.
Can I bring my own raft and kayak?
Depends on which spring I would call ahead or check their website
Blue springs. is in orange city fl not Orlando 😂
I said ‘near’ Orlando :)
