What are your thoughts on Alex Bowman's win in Auto Club 400?
NASCAR on FOX great
An amazing win for him, the salute for Jimmie Johnson was amazing
AWESOME GREAT
Good race, also when are you guys gonna start uploading at 1080p?
Epic gamer moment
You can tell by the way Johnson took off at the green he wanted to see his wife and kids more tha he wanted to get ahead
Samuel Hardy I was the 48th like
I was the 56th like. MIKEYYYYYYYYY
This is the Alex Bowman that we thought we were gonna get after Dale Jr. retired.
He's been strong to start off the season. Hopefully he keeps it up
Yeah if he keeps this up, championship contender for sure. He had INSANE speed these last two weeks.
Haas should've never went to ford, when they were running Hendricks engines, Hendrick and StewartHass were an unstoppable force. Look at Harvicks consistency then compared to now.
@@bradpoole238 I know I'm late, but when you look at Chevrolet's performances in 2018 and start of 2019 I think it may be a good move, and Kevin's leading the championship by 80 points now hehe
The crowd didn't even look that bad. Better than the last two years
I was there last year, MUCH more hot, but a great time out nonetheless.
I was there. Not a bad crowd. Also have to remember that for past week, weather forecast said rain too. So I think that scared some people off
Aint nothing else better to do in California at the moment
Unpopular opinion: it was actually a good race with good clean racing in the pack.
I agree
I was there. Easily best auto club in last 5 years
Not unpopular at all! Fantastic race for sure! Good amount of battling on restarts without getting extremely chaotic, good battles even on long runs, and the pit strategies got people on the edge of their seats with tire wear being a huge factor. Absolutely was a good race!
Inside Line agree some drivers driving a little to aggressive for me but overall not bad
I just want my boy Jimmy Johnson to win one more race before he retires 😢. Been my favorite for over a decade
Im holding out for Dover. He's like...the king of Dover at this point.
JJ might win at ATLANTA, TEXAS, DOVER, Darlington, Indianapolis, and Charlotte.
@@andrewbeaudoin7363 he might,.. but he won't 😊
@@michaelratliff905 Oh, yes he will! You just watch.
Glad to see Dibenedetto finishing in top 15. He’s been one of my more favorite guys, and I’m glad to see him doing well.
Yep he's got decent equipment behind him now. If it's not Phoenix next week hopefully it's a win at Martinsville.
Matty D will win multiple as well! What do you say we help him out?
The way he runs he deserves a win
Bowman was definitely the showman today Way 2 Go
I don’t know what it is about NASCAR this year but I’ve found myself watching (and enjoying) races again for the first time in many years. This was a good race
Nice to see that 48 car being competitive so far this year
Was there live today. Fun race. Crazy weather.
Yep the rain held off and it was probably pouring after the race in Fontana.
Hendrick and the Chevrolet group have looked strong so far. Hopefully they can keep it up and we can have all three manufacturers fighting for the championship!
Yeah i got tired of the toyota show
Toyota should never have been allowed into NASCAR as they are not an American company
@@maxwellharris507 im not a Toyota fan at all, but being in NASCAR has nothing to do with where the cars are made. If you love Nascar, you should be happy that Toyotas in there and u should hope others like Honda jump onboard. Our beloved sport is dying off. We need the fans, even if they're ricers...more manufacturers means more fanboys will follow.
Who else heart stopped when Liberty Mutual sponsor popped up on 15 laps to go 😂
Every time I saw it when bowman was leading
Same I almost had a heart attack
Same I thought it was a caution
I thought I was the only one lol I literally screamed Caution! When I saw that
Bowman the Showman!
3 races 3 manufacturers 3 different winners all brands have won a race this season.
Corey Wharton
In 3 races!
Great to see Fox giving us free NASCAR highlights on UA-cam.
Bowman is my favorite driver 😎🏎
If DW was he be like Boogity Boogity Boogity let’s go racing boys
I still say it
I agree Bowman is awesome
Why dw not here
therealsamuelstubbs he retired from NASCAR on Fox
@@warhawkplane9564 oh yea i remember now my bad
I guess it was the Bowman show today because nothing much happened. At least it wasn't Kyle Busch.
Run Ronaldo Run #THEBESTINTHEWORLD rather have Kyle then Joey
it was awesome
I wish Hendrick would’ve made a special 24 car just for Fontana. The local crowd would’ve appreciated that so much. Racing and the number 24 are sacred things In California.
I think they did didn't they? Idk I just saw the gold and purple car.
They spotlighted that purple and gold 24 car multiple times yesterday...which goes to show, the secret to "living" forever is never burying the body.
I wish they'd keep the 2 mile track, and bank the corners. Love Fontana. Legendary track.
It’s like a blast from the past seeing a McDonalds car
California is one of those tracks where if you are a fan watching on tv, you can take a nap.
Fantastic race!
Truex crying as always!
Did you guys remeber that Bowman drove for BK Racing in 2014 and Tommy Baldwin Racing in 2015?
It was fun seeing Bowman stomp everyone. The long green flag runs strung the field out some, but the shorter runs had some wild racing. Four and five wide is always great to see. Solid race and the first decent winner of the season.
I am so happy Bowman won
Love ya bowman
Denny Hamlin gonna get payback soon that was uncalled for what he did
The cooler tracks temps benefited crazy restarts. But Tires wear off quickly thanks to track's age, caused larger gaps between every car. Great consistant day for Chevys. Great day for Hendrick motorsports as they tie along with Roush for having most wins at Auto Club 400. Blaney is still points leader despite of his tire problem. Wonder how this race could of went without stage cautions.
THANK YOU FOR NOT PUTTING THE WINNER IN THE TITLE!! That made my day better, so I really do appreciate it!!
@FrictionP But it isn't in the title, so now I have to watch the video to find out who wins. I did scroll to the comments to leave the comment and I spoiled it for myself...again...
Alex deserves to be a winner after taking over for dale jr, when you take over for someone like jr you have a bunch of pressure put on your shoulders, he’s handled it well
Best racing I’ve seen at auto club in years
Awesome
Nicknames
Bowman: Bowman the showman
Hamlin: delivery boy
Logano: legs
Way to go Alex! Hendrick Motorsports is back!
Thank you FOX for not putting the name of the winner in the title. Much appreciated from a UK viewer! :-)
Im not a Jimmy fan, but I really want him to finish strong this year. I hope he wins a race this year. I know I will miss him racing, bc i was the same about Gordon. These guys have something special.
I’m glad to see him win
So proud of Alex Bowman. He may turn out to be really great. He completely dominated all weekend.
Ryan Blaney gets screwed again.Maybe the WIN will come next Sunday for the BEST CUP DRIVER RYAN BLANEY
Good race, as long as the usual drivers didn't win. We need the rookies to win to bring the fans back. I think the rookies won't let us down and play games. Rookies raced good keep the pressure on.
Sigh I don't think this will bring many fans back but we can only hope it will. Not with races like this where the winner dominated...
@@runrafarunthebestintheworld o k. Let's wait and see. Chow.
A race to the end and not a demolition derby..Finally !!
That 5wide parade lap was cool
nascar is epic again
redemption from last week LETS GO!
I was at the race the restarts were crazy
Marble Man 42 same man. Infield in turn four. Right by entrance to pit road. Restarts were absolutely crazy. 4-5 wide for 10 laps or so after restarts. Good race
Promised my buddy Aaron we would get matching 88 tattoos if i won, so now I guess I gotta get a tattoo. Like he didn’t expect to win
congrats to bowman.
Managing tires was key today
Did we forget about the restarts? Cause those were insane
Odd question but does anyone know the type of watch Bowman was wearing ?
Isn't that cute at 0:55 when they wave? Hi Daddy. Bye Daddy. 👍😃
I thought the race was pretty fun cuz of the restarts can go 5 wide and such. The race being so strung out was because Bowman was so much better than the rest of the field tbh
how many races will be rain delayed
I was there
Not a fan of the staging but these races have been pretty good besides that. Go chase!
Early when the vid has under 1,000 views
Do you want a fucking sticker for that
Denny just dump Larson he knows better not a spot to push
RIP Auto club
What an exiting race. I've almost had an heart attack. I kept my breath for whole 4 hours. I already turned blue. My wife tought that I turned into Smurf.
Yeah, can you imagine if they had three drivers fighting for the lead... Wo w, only in NASCAR you can see so many drivers fighting for the lead and so much action. Thats a true american sport. When somebody mentions NASCAR, modern America is the first thing that comes on my mind.
Was it raining today? I live nearby in the area, but I did not know of a race-delay, that I've heard of.
It was raining just a bit before the race
Johnson seemed so fast in the early stages of the race then fell back towards the end but 7th is still good
41 is my favourite
Top 10
Alex Bowman
Kyle Busch
Kurt Busch
Chase Elliott
Brad Keselowski
Denny Hamlin
Jimmie Johnson
Aric Almirola
Kevin Harvick
Erik Jones
Miss dw and his boogity boogity boogity let’s go racing boys
Hamlin said after the race that the reason he put Larson into the wall was because Harvick was riding his bumper... lies, lies, lies
This highlight video says alot about Nascar. It's bad that one of the most exciting things that happens in a race is a tire changer injuries himself.
How much longer is NASCAR going to allow Denny To keep wrecking other drivers?
Just an observation. Spanish fans love Alonso. Germans love Vettel. Indy fans love Tony. Californians love JJ. From 1988 till the mid 90s, I went to every race at Pocono. Pennsylvanians sure didn’t love Jimmy Spencer!
Nobody likes Jimmy Spencer
These highlights seemed very empty, guessing the race was quiet boring...
VERY
Honestly it was pretty fun. Bowman dominated but the racing was quite entertaining throughout the pack.
@@hitakirider4172 hardly man. Fontana needs to get the Axe
@@hell-sol5240 speak for yourself bro, just because its boring for you to watch on tv doesn't mean there weren't over 50 thousand people having a great time at the track.
@@Oswald_Thatendswald it was a snoozefest of a race your delusional if you think otherwise and no I'm not talking about wrecks there was no racing it was a one man show with a 10 second lead that's the worst kind
Truex: tell that 22 im gonna wreck him when i get the chance again (4:04)
Truex: passes joey
Joey: passes him back
Truex: doesnt do anything
The front was right on the rear of Joey, if you were gonna wreck him why didn't you (4:15)
Alec-uh it Austin Dillon to pit lane for tires with one to go
Sube las carreras completas saludos
Eso lo hace NASCAR en su canal.
Ok gracias
Aun asi t seguire
Happy to see Chevy up front again
As an Aussie nascar fan how do the stages work..
When a stage is completed points get awarded to the top 10 (10 points for the leader, going down to 1 for 10th place) and the caution comes out.
Do they get a point or something if win a stage or ? and why stages - so they can pit stop etc?
DeanP InTheSun pretty much stages replace the first 2 green flag pit stops and yes a stage win is a playoff point
First place gets 10 points and the 10th place car gets 1 point but it's ridiculous they want restarts along with it...
Nobody cares about Credit One Bank. Stop ruining the final lap.
I liked the part where they went really fast and then turned to the left
S G they have roads courses and they are adding more
MTJ Wound up means he'll really wreck the #22 to gain a lot more fans on his side!
I think Denny Hamlin gets too much hate. He's a great driver, and this is coming from a Truex fan. (And I have been liking Truex since he was in the 1 car.) That was most likely an mess up with him an Larson. It might be because he's a JGR team member.
To be honest, think people are just biased to hate on JGR because they win a lot and because none of the favorites are in it. Also, everyone is quick to say they are cheating. If Chase Elliott or Jimmie Johnson were winning week after week in JGR, no one would hate JGR or say they been cheating at all.
7 time finishes 7th the irony
At 1:54 my dad is in the red truck
Lightning McQueen is this you???
As a kid I loved California Speedway because it was close to home but damn this track is so boring. Is there a way we can bring excitement to this track? Just rebuild it and turn it into a Daytona type of track.
Yeah Fontana could just dissapear and nobody would care cause it's never known to provide much excitement
Ricardo Masvidal that was good racing today I don’t know what you’re talking about
So because there were no violent crashes that almost killed a driver the race was boring? You people are sociopaths, for real.
@@Oswald_Thatendswald as I stated earlier I do NOT like wrecks I like RACING and there's yet to be much good of that yet this year. It always stars slow though . Atlanta will hopefully give us a good race
*2011, 2013 and five wide restarts would like to know your location*
I hate the stages. Go back to the old points system
Hard to believe you still allowed to use anything but a battery to power a race car in that co2 is evil backwater
I watched this entire race my first time I’ve ever watched a entire race
Well sadly you picked a boring race to watch start to finish please don't give up on it though
Hell- Sol don’t worry I won’t I have watched a little tidbits of races here and there but never a full one and the real bummer was that there was no crashes now I don’t wish for death I just want something entertaining is that normal ?
@@gmg9010 well alot of people do like watching crashes I personally do not but hey whatever floats your boat I guess. But yeah its quite normal and this is definitely one of the most boring tracks do yourself a favor and Watch Bristol Or Martinsville this year you'll see great racing and plenty of crashes
Hell- Sol well I was gonna watch Daytona as my first one but had to go to a birthday party
@@gmg9010 Daytona is actually quite boring as well didnt miss much good racing anyway
Happy for Alex, Rick needs to resign him
On tracks that can have room for it what would your opinions be if they started races in the formation they did for Jimmie? Maybe stage restarts too (no caution though).
Hendrick is putting his money behind this boy. He and Chase will own nascar once harvick, kyle busch and truex are gone
Bowyer’s only won 10 races?
Yep with different teams too.
ALEX BOWMAN WINS HIS 1ST RACE AT FONTANA
ALEX BOWMAN WINS HIS 1ST RACE AT FONTANA
You misspelled his last name
And it was his 2nd win
@@patrickperry8951 he actually has a 3rd win
NASCAR was good at one time now it BORING !
Fontana is one of the worst they run on
Poor kyle just got spanked today in big fashion.
That was uneventful
Why does 41 always loses
They can’t have cigarette sponsors because nascar or because law?
Mr Moncherz I think because of both
