Nascar needs to immediately double the points and winner's prize for the crown jewels so crew chiefs are put on notice that these are the most important races and that points racing is not acceptable and that you definitely don't have your driver give up the lead with two laps to go for any reason. It would raise the stakes creating must watch races very good for increased ratings and ad revenue
I think staying out would have been the better choice, but he was in a bad position regardless. Shame the 48 couldn't get the win though, would be nice to see him have some success this season.
worst race ive watched in a very very long time. Nascar completely missed this package. 1 line the whole time and nobody could pass. 2019 all star race was absolutely perfect and for some reason they went away from it.
Reddick is a huge pick up I’m just saying he will make that team way better the Dillion boy needed all the help he could get n who thinks matt kenseth makes the playoffs I know he had a bad race but I think there is a good chance he makes the playoffs
I always find it a bit of a joke how many commercials are in American TV, but NASCAR is just ridiculous: even when you're not watching the actual commercials, you're watching commercials. The name of the cup is sponsored, the clock is sponsored, the network promotes its logo in the corner of the screen, the walls of the track are lined with commercials, and even every single car and driver is covered head to toe in commercials. It's like, wherever your eye is looking, 75% of the screen is covered in commercials.
@Tydus Jefferson Sponsorship and commercials are the same thing: it's all just different ways of advertisers paying to put their logo in front of your eyeballs.
The only reason drivers can race is BECAUSE of sponsorship. That’s part of sports branding nowadays and it’s always been a thing. Yet for some reason people don’t think the same for other sports?
@@JackLikesTrackhouse Oh I assure you, it annoys me too for other sports - like how in football they have even started spraypainting adverts onto the grass now - but at least with team sports the need for recognizable uniforms means a certain percentage of each player isn't covered in commercials. If it were NASCAR they would be head to toe.
Chase should have stayed out I think at worst he would have finished where he did with the pit stop but he had this race without that caution and it was team mate that caused it
Want to talk about snatching DEFEAT from the jaws of VICTORY!!!!! I guarantee that someone got a serious counseling session after the race for that move! Simply the worst call I've seen in over 25 years. Watching Chase pit gave me one of the biggest WTH moments I can remember.
Overall, this race is pretty good, except for the ending with Jimmie Johnson getting disqualified. I hope one of the Chevrolet Camaros (including Hendrick Motorsports) can win some more races this season. It's nice however to see Brad Keselowski winning in his Miller Lite patriotic paint scheme! :P
I like crew chiefs, but I'm blaming each & every one of em for not keeping things on those cars that want to fall off & get thru tech inspection pre, & post race. & another thing, Chase Elliott shoulda stayed out to win this race. 🏁
Should Chase Elliott stayed out on the final caution?
NASCAR on FOX Yes
Absolutely. It was a no-brainer.
I would think so
It was a lose lose situation
Yes
Can we stop talking about how good or bad the race was and just appreciate that the race is happening at all? I'm just happy to see live racing again.
Especially considering there were no serious wrecks that occurred even after the delay.
Thankyou for not putting the name of the winning driver in the title!
What do you mean i liked when they did that
Muscle cars are my life no
Jimmie Johnson is doing good this season
Luca Brasi I agree
He would minus the pandemic, sunday's stage crash at Darlington last week and the post race inspection failure. otherwise, he's doing great
Besides that 2nd place finish just got takin away for his car being out of spec..
Luca Brasi Sure, just like how he failed inspection?
Finally
2:26 Boogity Boogity Boogity let’s go racing boys and God bless America🇺🇸
No, there shouldn't have been a caution. William Byron should have took it easy or pitted knowing Chase was leading and about to win.
I feel bad for Chase Elliott! He had the fastest car, but a late race caution cost him the win.
Well it’s still good he finished 3rd
One thing you got to learn in racing, is that the fastest car doesn't always win the race.
This is a consolation after running out of the Monaco Grand Prix, Thank you Nascar ^_^.
Denny tripped the trap door lever too soon! We weren't supposed to see that, good job camera people 👍
I just miss formula 1
@Elon Musk I'd rather watch a soccer match @ The Special Olympics.
I think F1 is starting a virtual tour. Just like eNASCAR
Where’s radioactive
Kyle Busch is a class act!
I use the audio to sleep at night.
Christopher Bell had a amazing 9th place finish
I personally think Bell has the best car control
Sucks that Jimmie couldn’t pull out a dub in his last year, so close yet so far what was worse was getting DQed in post race inspection
There were 15 minutes worth of highlights in this race?
How do you have 4 cars in the top 6 late in the race and yet have only one of them actually finish there? Hendrick Motorsports, that's how.

Elliot should of won this race. That last caution screwed him
Not the best Charlotte 600 but whatever
2016 was worst
Because truex led 392 laps
And everyone else led 8 laps combined
Yeah that to
Where can i watch the races live in EU?
Larry the explanator
I am here to remember cars 1

someone explain to me why the 9 car pitted with 3 to go?? the 2 car said ..thanks buddy...
I still dont understand the overtime thing. Its a race with a set number of laps; some either wins or not
Nobody understands any of NASCAR's rules anymore. That's why their viewership has been dropping for years.
Why pit leading with 2 to go 🥴
the drivers were gonna do the opposite of what he dud
worst race ive watched in a very very long time. Nascar completely missed this package. 1 line the whole time and nobody could pass. 2019 all star race was absolutely perfect and for some reason they went away from it.
its still better than no racing at all
Goodyear brought a harder tire compound then last time. Probably why this race sucked.
Reddick is a huge pick up I’m just saying he will make that team way better the Dillion boy needed all the help he could get n who thinks matt kenseth makes the playoffs I know he had a bad race but I think there is a good chance he makes the playoffs
6:57 man he started so high up... how did he go 2 laps down before this?
Speeding on pit road
Is Ryan Newman back?

Is Will Menaker a commentator...?
what's funny about nascar highlights is they only show accidents or retirements and only very little of the overtaking moves. smh

If a car wrecks on the track and nobody is in the stands to watch, is it still a wreck ?

What happened to Kyle Larrson
Legit question??
He is suspended for saying a racial slur on the virtual eNASCAR
Great race at Charlotte 600
Wheres the supra car????
@Elon Musk That's not wrong, i guess.. 🤣
Is it me or when Denny Hamlin has a new paint scheme he just has bad luck plus ima Hamlin fan so I’m rly disappoint
for me its like if i watch the races he does pretty well but if dont he goes a few laps down due to issues :/
U know if he cheated he would fail post race inspection right
That post race interview makes me think Brad knows he's moving on from Penske at seasons end.
Should’ve stayed out
America stop spending so much money on weapons and work to peace and not just invade countries for there pil
Best part was Johnson getting caught cheating and dq'd
Dang i missed that part of the televised race can u please tell me the time stamp so i can watch too?🙏🙏
@@vapinbachelor289 it was determined late last night after all the inspections. So Elliot got second!
