How Grala does not have a full time ride in any of the NASCAR series is beyond me.
The 3 was leading laps and got its best result in a Road Course for the first time in a very long time.

This was not the first time denny hamlin and Chase Elliott has finished 1-2 rember back at dover 2018 when Chase Elliott held off denny hamlin on the final restart
And then martinsville but chase got spun out
Maybe we can see a little more action on this track in the future

I doubt it. Now that the inauguration is over it will get to be just like the 24hrs. The first few laps every on watching. Then as the field gets strung out move on to something else.
Christopher Enger I mean you can say that for the majority of nascar road course races. Personally I just enjoy the layout of the course and I think it could make for some competitive last lap racing

Kaz grala really impressed me by finishing in 7th place!!!!!!!
I don't even think Austin could've finished better if he was driving,Grala will get a full-time cup ride in a couple of years for his performance
And I think Grala was leading some of the race today at one point as well
I loved jimmies performance that was his best finish since Bristol
He performed well at Darlington! He just... y'know... crashed himself in 1st place, and failed post race. 🤣

Chase Elliot winning road courses go together like peanut butter and jelly.
Rough day for Harvick, I honestly didn’t see him winning this race, he had a top 5 car for sure.
He would have finished top 10 at least without being spun out

I'm pretty sure SCCA Formula Vee cars in the rain look faster than this. If Nascar wants to go road racing (and I think it would be great for road racing) please give them a real road race car that looks fast enough to showcase the top talent of the Nascar grid. Think like Aussie V8s or DTM cars!!!!
They are going to a new car which was supposed to begin in 2021, going to independent rear suspension, 6 speed sequential shift, and rumored to be a lighter race car overall. Thanks to the pandemic that has also been delayed to 2022.

This Daytona Road Course race for the Cup Series is pretty good, especially with Chase Elliott winning yet another road course race once again! 👍

This track was on Nascar thunder 2004 as a fantasy track, weird to see it actually being run on

As a long time F1 fan (Murray Walker days) It is so cute these Nascar announcers trying to describe road course flow.
Junior and Jeff Burton have driven a few more laps on road courses than Murray Walker ever did. They know what they're talking about.

Hate how NASCAR took out one of the biggest races of the year for this. The announcers don’t even know what to say at times. When is NASCAR gonna bring back the Stock Car???
Scott Lyles No, this isn’t in place of the Daytona oval, they ran here this year because they couldn’t race at Watkins Glen, they are still doing the Daytona night race and they did the 500

Man after watching the xfinity race I was real excited for the cup race but wow. This has to be the most boring road course race I’ve watched no one seemed to even be racing that hard
Really? I watched the whole race and there was some hard racing it's just new with no practice. There was lots of bumping.
Kevin Orrias I watched the whole race too and it was just eh. If you compare it to the last 3 xfinity series road races, this is wasn’t even half as entertaining. Besides maybe 4 drivers it seem like everyone else was just ok with finishing.
