    Sadly there are still people that won’t accept and try to understand this information. I have freely given this info to several people and only one made use of it… I am personally a good representative for this lifestyle, 6”2 and 165lbs, eat carbs all day long, and very fit at 50 and I tell people how easy it is to eat this way, and they are hard to convince. I tell them look at me, I eat 2x more food than they do, yet they are overweight and I’m razor lean. I sit there happily eating and stuffing my face with dates, watermelon, bananas, etc., I even sometimes add sugar to coconut water in front of them! But they still resist and go for high fat choices. It’s difficult to understand unless it’s just years of programming…

    • @theedevil08
      @theedevil08 3 роки тому +1

      Hi. I ride about 40 miles per week on average. I also eat until satisfaction so I don’t record my total caloric intake. High carb all day every day, but I stop eating when I approach satiation, I estimate approximately 80% full. I am 165lbs currently at 6’2 height.

      Very cool...are you naturally very lean too-such as before you went high carb low fat? Or did this lifestyle make you lean?

    • @theedevil08
      @theedevil08 3 роки тому +4

      Hi. I haven’t always been lean. I’ve tried different lifestyles such as paleo, Atkins, caloric restriction. None of these worked as I always held onto a low level of body fat regardless of exercise and my energy levels were low. I changed to high carb vegan four years ago and now I don’t even step on the scale anymore, because my weight stays exactly where I want it always. Harley’s right; but I was programmed early that sugar bad and fats and animal proteins good. All the dairy and cheese and creamers etc., doing nothing for a person but they push calcium and protein and advertisers create catchy slogans like, ‘Does a body good!’. LOL, really the reverse as far as my experiments on myself show. The best lifestyle I have found to date is high carb vegan paired with an active fitness routine and an increase in general physical activity. Good luck to you in your journey!

    Was high carb Vegan for 8 years and struggled not actually keeping my fats down. Tried the Keto, went through meat eating again, felt gross and shit, and now easing back into High Carb mostly plant based but this time keeping the fat below 20g a day or less. Probably will be back to Vegan soon or 99% plant based. It’s all test and trialing but in all honesty, HCLF is the way to go, especially if you are athletic with a lot of aerobic exercise. My mom said I gained weight eating all the dates I want when I switched from starch solution to fruit, but I don't care I know it's because for years I've been restricting my calories on and off and I have metabolic damage, but even if I gained weight -----my eye brow hair grew back my nails are stronger than ever they were so weak on 1 year of the starch solution. Now with high fruit I've never had so much energy or felt so healthy and good, I don't care if I gain a little weight my clothes still fit me!! I have the sickest energy to work out and can work out 5 days a week going up hill somedays. You're right people aren't going to listen if they don't want to so I say it once and stop wasting my breath, I know a little weight gain is temporary but with this energy to workout it's going to level out --its barely 3 months since I started eating high fruit & maybe when I was slimmer with the starch solution because I didn't have a car and I would carry my groceries. So now I am going to start carrying my groceries by hand more often even though I have a car because the weight lifting yeah does make a difference. Now though man my cellulite is like melting away 🤞😄 thank you!!
    I'm 30 years old and I can't remember the last time my fitness has been this good, like maybe when I was 7 years old. I am surprised at how fast I can jump rope now

    Just watch those contestants on the History Channel's "Alone" series. Basically a starving competition. The only way they can keep the weight on is eating fats. Food is scarce anyways on the show, but unless they find fish (fats) or get a fatty kill, the weight melts off of them. There has been some have an abundance of lean meat left from a kill, but without the fat, no matter how much he ate, the weight continued to fall off of them. The one guy had an entire moose, but still was trying to fish just to get some fat content to keep the weight on. Completely true that you are equal to the fats you eat.

    Good vid. One thing to note on the excess glycogen is that it can also be stored as fat, however our bodies are only 10-20% efficient in it's conversion, the rest is lost to heat in the reaction. So that 1000 calorie excess carbohydrate/glycogen surplus now becomes only 100-200 calories stored as fat. Important point to note which really ties all of this together. Another point to note is that protein is 25-35% efficient at converting to fat.

    • @durianriders

      @dukenegju 7 місяців тому

      White rice and white sugars are deprived from it's minerals, so they (white sugar for sure) will either take minerals from your body's materials or simply be acidic with the same effect and most fruits are sugar bred, so they won't compensate for that. I see you consume beans, which have minerals, but still. What was unclear? Thank you! Love@@durianriders
