Good luck to his wife! I was the same height and weight when I started out. First few months I dropped kilos, cured my bulimia, no longer thought about food 24/7, and could jog without feeling like dying. By far the the easiest diet to stick to, I do not miss oil one bit and carbs are so filling. The hardest part about it is the constant critique from people who weight more than you and eat less!
Completely agree I’ve been vegan for about 4-5 years and I’m 18 now and I really and am trying to get better results with my aesthetics and I’ve been smashing in the smoothies with sugar and rice and eliminating salt and drinking 2 gallons of water a day and I feel amazing. But my dad keeps insisting that I’m going to die because of sugar in my smoothie because their is too much fruit while he’s making he’s coffee in the morning 🤦🏼♀️. It’s just so annoying because he’s so hard headed but I’m sure once I get the results he will definitely change his mind and realize I’m right
@@libertyenos9828 Lol at "too much fruit". It's tough having stubborn family, but sometimes you have to be the example. I've been trying to get my mum to do hclf vegan for a while and she was so skeptical because we all use be fully on board the high-fat anti-sugar train, but she finally made that her resolution for this year. This is a journey not an overnight miracle, never lose sight!
I’m this obese person you speak of in this video. I’m 78kg and 5 foot 4. I have struggled over 30 years on yo yo dieting calorie restriction fasting. I have been thin then fat over and over and sick and tired of it. I’m 50 now and stopped eating meat dairy peanut butter and all overt fats. I use to think you were misleading people with the carbs and sugar rant but now realise how real u r. Thanks for your brutal honesty and telling it like it is. More people need to listen to u to heal. I have a long way to go but at least I’ve now woken up. Thanks durian rider!
Funny how people argue with your protocol when you are literally living proof that it works long-term... not only for you, but also for those who follow your protocol (men and women!) You have to trust the process and level up in life!

tapeworm 😂Youre so right about eating disorders. I struggle with it like Im never going to be able to eat again. Even though I am. After years of counting macros, calories, fasting , omad. I was so deprived. Thank you DR for your videos.
45 kg for 160 cm?? when i was my skinniest from eating only while foods i had 46-47 kg and im ony 155 cm and I was really really slim. So for her height 50 kg is really a minimum weigh..... and it also depends on constitution. people with wide joints can have higher bmi and are still normal. You harley for example have very tiny joints so for you its normal to be very skinny. I agree with you on nutritional advice but there are different constitutions and I dont think its wise you say this person will have 45 kg at the end... i think she will end up somewhere between 50 and 52 kg....maybe she will go below that if she has a very tiny frame....
@@poli4511 yeah i had lots of muscle from playing soccer so i know that im just saying we have different types of bodies and some for some people bmi of 18 is cool and for some its too low
I am 163 and i was 45 at my lowest when i had an eating disorder. Good weight for my height is prob between like 47 and 53? So i wouldnt think 45 for someone shorter than me is super bad?? Idk i guess different for everyone.
So if I doing your diet (got your ebook btw 👍🏼) and I was cycling at weekends but also doing calisthenics, would I keep muscle mass even though my protein/fats were under 60g? I come from a competitive bodybuilder background. Was only lightweight category but was on the gear obviously (wouldn't have won fuck all otherwise 😂) but haven't done any comps for three years so off all that now. But I'm still stuck in the mindset of the diet / calorie counting etc. You have made me quite interested though but curious about the effect on muscle mass . I can see how this nutrition would favour a cyclist/runner but would like to hear any experiences from people who have done any strength based training.
Thanks for the support. DON'T do cardio if you want to build muscle. Cardio is just too catabolic and unless you are on gear again that puts you into positive nitrogen balance then you just going to strip muscle off and get hella aerobic.
Hi DR, do you think this way of life would work for someone with kidney failure. Im already vegan but im pretty certain I have too much fat in my diet, im 5ft 10 78.0kg, I love riding my bike but only do about 80 miles a week. I seem to take an age to recover after riding too so always go out with achey legs. Help
the most important thing for recovery is taking in plenty of carbs in the first 1.5 hours after your ride. Dylan Johnson has great videos on this topic with scientific studies backing everything, look him up.
I've cut down my food intake and upped my skipping ..now losing weight around my gut area ...started with a massive calorie deficit for a week ,then added food back so I'm not hungry....now stick to high carb low fat as u say
