Olga Peretyatko, one of the world’s most sought-after sopranos, made her international break-through after winning Plácido Domingo’s prestigious Operalia Competition, since then she has been a regular guest at the world’s most important opera houses and concert halls.
Olga Peretyatko opens the 2018/19 season with concerts at the renowned stages of Grafenegg and Gstaad Festivals, as well as singing songs by Gabriel Fauré with the Basel Symphony Orchestra, celebrating the release of the highly acclaimed new album The Secret Fauré. She then heads to Asia to perform at the Forbidden Concert Hall Beijing and at Guangdong Xinghai, as well as singing Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana with NHK Symphony orchestra in Tokyo, with Paavo Järvi conducting. China is also the place for bringing her highly acclaimed portrayal of the role of Leila in in Wim Wender’s production of Les Pecheurs des Perles at China National Center for Performing Arts. Besides that, in this operatic season she sings the title role of Anna Bolena at Opera Royal de Wallonie Liège and one of her signature roles, the title role of Lucia di Lammermoor at the Vienna State Opera, where she also performs Donna Anna in Mozart’s Don Giovanni. After the success of her role debut singing all ladies in Les Contes d’Hoffmann in 17/18, she presents it in concert at Festspielhaus Baden-Baden. Olga Peretyatko also takes part in Mozartwoche 2019, the Smetana Festival Litomysl, sings gala concerts at Budapest’s MÜPAand joins stage with Rolando Villazón at Konzerthalle Bamberg.

Esta GRANDIOSA OBRA del genio Gaetano Donizetti es una JOYA...Las interpretaciones extraordinarias de los LIRICOS en los diferentes papeles es sencillamente MARAVILLOSO !!!!. Olga, Anna y Aida, tres excelentes liricas RUSAS... Debo confesar que est version es una de las MEJORES, en este mismo escenario con la misma ambientacion lo hicieron Anna N. junto al mexicano genial Rolando V. la Opera que acabamos de disfrutar (2005 creo), saludos desde Peru amigos.

Great performance from the singers. Staging was superb.
I had hoped Sony would do as Canon. Give us an 70-200 that zooms externaly. It is so much smaller. I will have to stick to my Tamron 70-180.
One of the most charming operas. Thanks a lot for the upload! But could someone explain one thing to me - I have already watched two recordings of this opera with the Wiener Staatsoper, and in each of them the very ending of the second act seems to be cut off. That is, Dulcamara's last speech is abbreviated and his arietta "Ei corregge ogni diffetto" has no second stanza (the one that begins with "Egli è un'offa seducente pei guardiani scrupolosi ..."). There are no abbreviations on other recordings outside of Vienna. Why is it like this?

The thing with editions is very funny, because every theatre has it’s own edition. And we singers often have to learn extra pieces for certain theaters. But Vienna normally has the shortest versions, who knows why...
@@OlgaPeretyatkoOfficial Thank you very much for answer Olga! These editions does not affect the full performance at all but I think that loyal opera fan is able to notice them easily :) I wonder if in Vienna edition of l'Elisir d'amore exist more of them which I haven't noticed...

Una fata de respeto, al público que pagó para ver la función y a quienes amamos la ópera también no, entiendo como permiten representar y emitir una obra incompleta, para quienes no la conocen o no recuerdan falta el final, el area de Nemorino cantando " Una furtiva lacrima " Lo siento por quienes protagonizaron este espectáculo incompleto.
Cosa volevi dire - opera incompleta??

Olga Peretyatko es una de las mejores sopranos en su cuerda. Acá está excepcional. Maravilloso su "Prendi, prendi, per mi sei libero"... Ha sido una deliciosa Adina, una gran Elvira (Puritani), pero por sobre todo atesoro su grabación de "Matilde di Shabran" (Pésaro, 2013), simplemente deslumbrante... Y como si todo esto fuese poco, es una de las cantantes más hermosas que han pisado un escenario. Su esposo, Michelle Mariotti, es un director de orquesta excelente. Gracias, señora Peretyatko-Mariotti por brindarnos su arte.
