Their duet is the most balanced and melodic of all duets I've heard on this especially on the top notes 2 little birds singing in a tree .perfect and soft not abrasive.

Two beautiful women with gorgeous voices. I have loved opera since I was six years old. Living close to New York I had subscriptions to both the MET and the NY opera for 10 years. I no longer live near NYC but am thankful for the MET simulcasts in the theaters. What a wonderful and inexpensive way to enjoy the most beautiful music sung by the greatest artists in the world.

First I was just enjoying the music and the voices. Then I started thinking about the singers and where they are from. As it turns out, Elina is from Latvia and Olga from Russia. But (just like in football), when you're in the Champion's league, it doesn't matter anymore where you were born. You belong to the whole world and the whole world belongs to you.

Magnifique, j'en suis ému aux larmes. Elina en Malika, j'ai entendu plusieurs de ses performances et je suis à bout de superlatifs. Mais Olga P, c'est la première fois que je la vois en Lakmé. Ouf ! Pour commencer, quel joli français, qui donne à son chant impeccable toute la sonorité recherchée. Et elle incarne de façon si convaincante le personnage de Lakmé autant par la sensibilté de l'interprétation que les expressions du visage. Bravo, bravo !
