My son has a 450SS which we installed a quad lock on in your third option and it centers it perfectly. Has held up with lots of highway driving and Yes it does center it . Would send a pic if you want
@@CharlieDTE checked for ways of sending you some pics. I have quad lock pics, tail tidy set up and slip on exhaust. If interested let me know where to send pics.
I feel like your wireless mount position is the best, even with that little bit of play. The other two spots have the phone blocking the HUD. (Depending on how big your phone is).
The first option seems easiest for me but it looks like the phone sits a bit higher than it would on the third option. If you were using the third option would your hey chain be in the way if your phone. Kind of hard to tell for sure, and i can't decide which option to go with. Either way, very helpful video, so thank you!
I actually found that on Aliexpress. You'd be surprised what you can find for this bike on there. I unfortunately do not have the link, but I imagine if you search cfmoto 450 (don't put SS as it's referred to as SR in some countries) stem nut, you should be able to find one. You can also drill through your factory one if you want to give that a try!
Hello! Do you know how do I remove the steering nut on my 300sr because Im too scared to try to remove it by a lot of force in case Im doing something wrong. Thanks!
thanks very much for taking the time and making this video for me! I have one more question the plug in where the regular USB wire goes into the bike did that come standard or did you have to add it one? If so how hard was it to do?
The 450SS comes with the spot for the USB adapter to be hooked up. However, you have to buy the adapter separately. I just had my dealership order it directly. I forget how much it was, but not bad. It literally plugs right in! Old box comes out, new box goes in. You connect the wires behind it and you’re good to go. Three minutes tops.
You just blew my mind....LOL! But really, that may actually be a good idea. I would have to mess around with it a bit and see if it would work. Obviously a steering damper has bolts right in the middle of it, but you may be able to put it off to the side...I'll report back.
@@CharlieDTEI was thinking the same exact thing. I’m so close to pulling the trigger on this bike but lack of aftermarket parts is a big issue for me but if this works I might just do it.
@@Lilimutz yes it’s all decals the nebula white is actually all white with black accent pieces you can remove the blue and carbon fiber decals/wrap if you want it’ll look like a storm trooper bike 😅
sorry boss, I don't know the actual size of the screw. My suggestion would be to remove the factory one and go to your local hardware store and see if you can compare to others.
It's actually just from Aliexpress. It's weird, if you search 450SR (more results when you use SR instead of SS) you will see a lot of options for dampers, and even though they are "branded" the same, most of them look identical. This one seems to be decent, but only time will tell how well it will hold up.
Dude the third way worked PERFECTLY THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
AWESOME! I literally love hearing that any of my videos was able to help someone. Thanks for watching.
Do you happen to know the size of the screw you used

That’s awesome! Glad to hear that worked out for your son. Quad Lock makes a really great setup that’s for sure.

Hopefully you figured this out by now, but it just twists off! It does take a good bit of force to crack it first though.
@@CharlieDTE what size socket do i need to remove the center lock screw/stem nut?
hi did you find a stem nut for the 300sr ?
@@dominiquerichardson I'm also waiting for him to reply to this question..
What size wrench or socket did you use to remove the center cap?

@@CharlieDTE Seems simple enough! Thank you so much you’ve been so helpful!
I don’t see a separate opinion for the wireless charging pad on their website? Is that part of the handle mount pro ? thanks
This is what I have:

Okay this may sound stupid but that steering damper looks about the same diameter as a handle bar, so can the usual handle bar mount fit on it?

@@CharlieDTEdid you try to mount it on the steering dampener after all?
So if the stem nut doesnt support anything can i just like... not have it there and use just mount?
hi i’m just curious would that stem nut fit the 300ss?
Why is your bike white on top rather than the silver/gray I’ve seen with that color option?
My bike is the Nebula Black (white/black/blue) version, but I removed all of the blue accent pieces and replaced them with factory CFmoto red pieces.
Right on makes sense now. Been messing with my brain trying to figure out if it’s just the shading. Best of luck with your channel my friend
@@CharlieDTE soooo these are all decals? And where did you get the factory decals if i may ask 😮

Is it possible to only remove the blue? While keeping the rest of the stickers?@@RandySoWavvy
which type of mount is that for the three option?
where did you get the tinted wind screen at? i’ve been looking everywhere for one for my bike but can’t find one
I actually ordered the taller/tinted windshield offered directly through CFmoto. Your local dealer should be able to order it for you.
