Hey there Kevin. Sometimes you just gotta risk it for the biscuit. ☠️ You're pretty awesome 😍 Great video as always. Thanks a bunch for sharing. I had my doubts about the tuna in the pouches, but since watching your videos I think 🤔 I'm going to give them a try. I didn't know they made different flavors, that's pretty cool. 😍 ☠️nice bird call☠️ 🐦 📞 ☎️ lol yup it did kinda sound turkeyish 😆 🤣 😂 😹 I don't know if that's a real word but it is now lol. Wow, that is weird though 😳 🐦bird 🦜 📞calls ☎️ at night, it could have been something 😳 else 😳 EEK 🤔. Like uh umm 😳maybe 😳Bigfoot 🤔 Never know, they do tend to make bird noises eek 😬 maybe 🤔 the Bigfoot smelled your tuna 🤔 hmmm lol 😆 😜 🤣 😂 I dunno lol just teasing 😜 but you never know. Thank you 😊 bunches for all the laughs, you always get me in a good mood. KEEP ADVENTURING GOD BLESS YOU 🤗 HUGS 🤗
A little tip from a hunter. If you spot a tree stand there is a very good chance there is also a game camera somewhere around as well. Nice video. Keep it up
On Jack Benny’s radio show on of the characters was Rochester Anderson. Jack Benny would go, “Oh Rochester.” Rochester would say, “Yes Mr. Benny.” or “Coming Mr. Benny.”
Someone suggested your videos in the comments of Steve Wallis' most recent video, and that's awesome because this is exactly what I'm looking for. You definitely have that special UA-cam "something" and I'm now subscribed. Keep up the good work, my friend, and greetings from Thamesford, Ontario.
Other than the swampy ground, it looked like a great place. Strange way to describe your step two. You have a new subscriber. Greetings from Nashville, Tennessee.
Thanks, Carl! You can always expect a video from me every Tuesday at 6:30pm (est). I gotta get better at saying that in the videos haha. Small Plots is here for you!
Awesome small plot, I gotta hand it to ya, you make due with what you have, if I were stuck in the city, I would do the same thing. Thanks for the adventure 👍👍 Take Care 😃
Thanks, Jim! I'm lucky enough to live in a city that very much embraces nature. I haven't shown it in small plots, but there's an enormous waterfall in the middle of downtown (There are actually 3 big waterfalls in the city, Yyu can see two of them in my "search for spring" video) and with the river, erie canal, and lots of old railroad lines-turned-trail, tons of accessible nature everywhere. Tons of places I've never even been!
One of my new favorite camping channels. Not your typical backpacking channel that sets you apart. I'm here in Rochester too. Can you point me to some good stealth camp sites locally. Planning to get out for the first time next year.
Hey thanks so much, neighbor, I really appreciate that! As for stealth spots, I don't want to divulge EXACT locations, but the majority of the sites I reach by traveling south down the riverway trail(from downtown where I live) , and sometimes hit the Erie Canal path or Lehigh Valley Railroad trail. Just look for clusters of trees on google maps! One tip: the west side has way more homeless activity and there woods are just generally used more, as they're closer to neighborhoods. Happy stealthing!
Hey my fellow New Yorker! I live in NYC in residential side of Times Square. Being that outdoorsy guy in the city it is so good to see you doing the video like this. I hope to camp at Adirondack, New York very soon.
Thanks, Makoto, hello! If you haven't yet, check out the Catskills. They're closer to NYC and while not *quite* as impressive as the Adirondacks, there's a very similar vibe. Also, keep in mind that almost any New York State forest (forest, not park) has open camping... Not sure what the closest to you is, but there's probably one in/near the Hudson Valley. Thanks for watching! 😁
Hi, great channel. Great video. Love the content. I live in Ireland and would love to start stealth camping. I subscribed and looking forward to more great videos.
You my friend are just brilliant .....I watch hours of stealth camping /bushcraft/outdoors videos but you are great.Love your style, humor and generally what you do.Keep it up and cannot believe you only got 600 subscribers You deserve much more I will share where I can
peanut butter & jelly is a good roll up option. of course you can mix the peanut butter with jelly before heading out to camp. but it really leaves you wanting something to wash it down here is an odd aside about stealth camping. one of the reasons for camping in urban jungles is satisfy the urge to enjoy the sense of wildness/wilderness no matter how far or near to urbana
I went into Tesco yesterday here in the UK and they tried to charge me 50p for a bag to carry home my Grocery. 50p I said, you must be having a laugh. Anyway the girl on the checkout said, yes Sir they are 50 Pence... what do you want to do? So I said, no no i am not going to pay it, you robbing buggers. Anyway do you know what i did? I put everything in my pockets. I think she was very surprised.
Thanks so much, man! The only thing I use is the gopro "shorty" thing, it's a little grip that can turn into a little tripod. I just do everything by hand... and have the gopro's stabilizer cranked to the max
What’s up neighbor local to Rochester for past 41 years I had a suggestion for your gear you can’t bring because You don’t want to look suspect to your surroundings But you can do a bike stealth camp and put some saddles on the bike and you can bring your pocket rocket and your kuksa I’m sure you are part of bushcraft survival preppers outdoors well recently new to the channel keep it going but consider the stealth bike camps too
Howdy neighbor! A bike stealth trip is definitely on the docket. I actually almost rode a bike for this video, but didn't because I wasn't sure what the woods looked like and if I'd be able to get a bike in there; turns out it was a good call because this little forest was super dense. Keep an eye out for some bike stealth camping this summer!
Here's a tortilla-wrapping hint: Don't put the food all the way to the end of the tortilla so that you can fold over the ends a little before rolling it up like you normally would for a burrito. I'd use like an inch or so on both ends for this little fold, depending on the size of the tortilla. Anyway, if you do this, you generally won't have any problems with the food falling out of the tortilla, which can be a more annoying problem when you're camping (and potentially dangerous if there are bears around). No judgment here but this is something I thought was annoying about making burritos before someone showed me how to fold over the ends and keep the beans from falling out.
Thanks for the tip! Cant remember if I did it in this video (filmed it about a year ago) but this technique is normally how I do it. Worked in the restaurant industry for like 10 years until about 2014 so I have a few tricks.
Yeah, but who knows who comes back there, it's technically illegal to hunt in places like this, so I don't know how concerned with hunting season they would be. Would be a trip for a game warden to find this place!
you have probably already done this but what if you are stuck. in a major city like new york and. the only option is maybe under a bush against. a bank wall. or in an alleyway like the homeless r are stuck with. the whole idea is how would. you deal with it with your skill set know what I mean...thanks .....oh btw I just subbed and look forward t watching nor videos from. your library
I've been trying to link to pics of the airbus and the shuttle carrier planes but my comments keep getting deleted... :) Anyway, fun vid, thanks dude. New UK viewer from off-grid Poland here.

@@smallplots Cheers dude, and thanks to you for doing what you're doing and to YT for at least putting you on my feed.. It's sad that we are reliant on their algorithm mostly these days. I have my own (small) forest plots here, so you now have a beautiful place in Poland and a new friend to visit any time. "Papa Smurf" suits a truck driver.
If you don't mind me asking, why did you pick Papa Smurf?
I feel like this must have been mentioned before, but I must say Kevin, you have some major Tom Green vibes! Love the channel, keep it up!

Now it's become a middle class pastime.

The Northern Mockingbird is probably the kind of bird tweeting all night. They tend to do that in late spring and through the summer.
