This is by far, in my opinion, the best spot you’ve camped so far. It is amazing it is so close to the city. I would like to camp on the river in my city. I love to be near water. I enjoy how you add a bit of the areas history to each adventure. Great work. Thank you and take care.
Thanks, Joe! Yeah I'll have to come back to this spot, maybe during a dry streak and I can get over to the little "island" that was keeping me hidden. I also love to be near water! One of these days I'll figure out a camp on lake Ontario.
I just discovered your videos tonight and binge watching them lol.❤️ I’ve been twice now delivering airplane engines to Burlington Vermont and I thought maybe your around Rochester and if so Omg I been directly south of there on I90 twice the past week and a half and I love your videos and the area! It would so much fun to go explore like you do lol. I’d do it here in Ohio I just eh idk don’t like doing stuff by myself not that I can’t handle myself ex army combat vet lol but definitely some super cool spots you find that’s for sure! Here in my hometown of Lancaster before they built the cvs at memorial and Lincoln avenue you used to be able to see the old sandstone blocks from our canal then they filled that area in sigh. I just love local town history that’s kinda forgotten to most ppl. Why I nit pick my grandparents brains on stuff lol❤️
Hello there you magnificent beast that has been just gallivanting around in the forest. 😆 🤣 😂 😹 lol So hilarious thank you for sharing this is awesome.
You and Sam bananas are the best, the small channels need more recognition. Dude I legit look forward to your vids. I live in Massachusetts, I'm 32 single dad I'm tryna do some camping this summer. I love what you all do but I find your channel is my favorite. Very entertaining and love the humor. As you can see I have stupid "childish" humor with my user name lol. I wanna try stealth camping so bad with my girlfriend but she doesn't want to partake. Hope I can go someday, if you're ever in Massachusetts let me know it'd be an absolute pleasure to learn from you. I'll buy the space kitty bud lol. Great vid as always brother

Hi Kevin! Great video, glad to see you back. Last week when you didn't post a video I almost died. The only thing that saved me was petulant complaining on Facebook about the content I receive for free.
Kevin couldn't possibly look more guilty, when he's heading into the woods, from the trail, which is extra super funny. It's a good thing he's a Good Guy! LOL!
Another great small plot Kevin. I think that this has been your most stealthy episode so far. You normally only whisper if a random jogger runs through your camp, but this was a proper covert operation 👍
Sweet episode of Small Plots as per. This one was a little or needed to be Stealthyier. You had me sold on them Slim Jim's it actually gave me the munchies . The geese can be interesting to deal with but I look at it like when they are around it's summer. So abit of a trade off . Take care and be safe.
Thanks, Rescue! I meant to get B-roll of the city at night, but missed the opportunity. Also missed a cool shot of a low-lying plane right over me. Regrets, I've had a few.
If I ever do something like this it will be because I watched you do it enough that I get the balls to try it lol. I actually have a couple spots in mind that are actually within a long walk from my home... I'm on the border of the city as well and it's got some wooded areas that would be perfect for stealth camping I think. Just gotta get a few pieces of gear to make it work. I'm a craft beer lover too so maybe I can show off some local favorites.
Do it! My first stealth camp was like an hour and a half walk to just outside city limits. This video was like a 15 min walk 😎. Living in the city, it's actually more convenient to go stealth camping than drive an hour to the nearest state forest.
Hey Kevin thank you for another video! As always I'm watching hours and hours of Bushcraft and camping I appreciate your filming efforts which takes a lot of work keep them coming your friend Arizona Dave
You need to get a camouflage blind sheet like Steve Wallis uses in his videos. Just tie it up in the trees and no one can see you. Also almost all of your videos have a river, creek, canal or lake. Get rid of that origami canoe and get a real one like Xander. I bet he didn't pay 500 dollars for his used canoe (patches). You would have access to a lot more places to camp. Overall a good video, thanks.
I go out there with a small 25L day ruck, so space is an issue for bringing extra things, like a camo net. And I have the origami canoe because I live in an apartment, way easier to store
I like your channel. I've been an avid hiker for years and use a hammock and tent system, however, all my experience is in the Back Country deep in the woods. I usually do trails in PA like the Black Forest trail, Loyalsock, and parts of the Appalachian trail. Recently I decided to start doing more stealth camping and walking from town to town instead of hiking. I usually do trips from 50-100 miles. . Like eating at their diners etc much like I saw in your videos and then just throwing my hammock up somewhere in the outskirts. . Broooo. Your anxiety is out of this world. I don't know if you do it for the dramatic affect or what but not everyone cares what the hell you're doing. 90% of people keep to themselves. I recommend you upgrade your gear to something from Dutchware hammocks and perhaps change out that sleeping pad for a good underquilt, you won't be disappointed. Switch to a good ultralight pack. Yours is more military style and as a Marine I can tell you it's definitely not better than some of the civilian offerings.
As always I love your vids and watch all the way to give you that sweet watch time. I'm already subscribed and of course I hit that like button as if it were a beverage center. If UA-cam were to ever to ask me to rate one of your vids dude I will give you 5 stars and when asked why... informative and entertaining. Both are true. Keep it coming!
Now I see why this was one of your riskiest stealth campings.... Gun fire/fire works, people all around downtown and noisy geese.... If I was you I'd call the police for the noisy geese.... 😂 Loved it, Kevin. Another great Small Plots, as usual 😉👌
You are on the "sketchier" side of the river. Even if I saw you, I would assume you are homeless or up to no good. I'd leave you alone. Props to you for camping there.
Yeah, I more didn't want a ne're-do-well to see me and get any ideas. Roving bands of teens that kill each other is a thing in adjacent neighborhoods 😯
Just a thought for future ideas, why not take a periscopic fishing rod or hand reel next time you are near a lake or stream? I find it's enough just to fish for a few minutes or leave a float and bait out. For the time poor it's a good way to squeeze in some fishing. Having said that, the last half dozen times I've caught nothing but I did have a trout chasing the lure and fell off.
Awesome Kevin, can't believe no prickers (stickers) or geese, (well until morning anyhow), 😂. Very picturesque morning shot of the river and bridge. Awesome stealth brother. Your mic, did cut out during the hair comment. @16:05 to 16:16
