Me and my buddy made a nice campsite in that same patch of woods across from the airport! I love camping out there, so peaceful except for the occasional jet lol I don't get those spooky vibes at all- we've never seen anyone out there night or day. The only people really going back there are campers like you and me lol And we always have campfires- never had an issue.
I have been watching lots of your vids as I have started following you as of late. Came across you in a Sam Bananas collaboration. Hi Kevin! I’ve been meaning to write for awhile to say hi! We (me and my partner Gary), live right across the big lake from you in Grafton, Ontario. On a clear day I can see the smoke stacks in Rochester. As the crow flies, you are practically a next door neighbour! We’ve never been there in person yet, but your walking tours of Rochester have been great; there’s lots to see, so we’ll get there someday to tour around. I love your videos, love the humour and commentaries. I really look forward to new ones released as I’ve binge watched all your content more than once (I’ve just had shoulder surgery so I’ve got a lot of time on my hands at the moment). Last night I was watching the video where you camped with 2 friends and the beautiful Luna. You were walking back from the creek, and I spotted a bird feeder hanging from a tree that you walked past. How random, lol! I told Gary we’ll have to get him some Space Kitty when we are down there to try out.!I’m not a beer drinker, so it all tastes like cat piss to me, hahaha!!! Anyway, just wanted to say hi from Ontario from Catherine and Gary! Love your videos very much, and you have a voice that sounds like you should be on the 6 o”clock news!! Very nice. Thanks for all your hard work, it’s greatly appreciated 😁😁😁🇨🇦
Minus the weird vibes and the noise, seems like a good spot. Another great video! Side note, I have the same REI camp chair and it’s awesome. Probably the most important part of my gear aside from my hammock and beer. 😆
Thanks hobo! Yeah I love that chair. I don't think they make this exact model anymore, unfortunately (similar but not the same). It has a few holes and had to be fixed once, but it's lightweight and heavy-duty
That material looks more like slag to me. I suspect those hills are an old slag dump from a steel mill since the trees don't look more than 50 years old and they are having trouble staying in the ground too. Tent stakes I try to put big rocks on top of them or blocks of wood. Makes for a bit of a trip hazard but keeps them in the ground. Sewing a square of deer hide to an old belt to make an apron you can wear backwards gives you something to sit on while sitting on wet ground or snow without getting your butt cold and wet.
Nice video!I never knew there was so much woods in that spot. I've ridden on the canal path by there many times. Never seen any shady people but I have seen a rattlesnake on the path. But that was over by Chili Avenue.
Dude...love the vids...per your comment about growing the channel...the godfather of stealth said his grew by coincidence...the first "stealth" camp...u got all the tools...just need that one vid to make the algorithm happy. Very enjoyable, just enough tension regarding the location! You deserve many more subs and are definitely up there with the Master and Billy! ATB from Buenos Aires! PS Maybe your channel name confuses people, possibly the word stealth camping in the title would draw more attention?
