- This is how you can target the upper, middle and lower regions of your chest on the chest fly machine. If you lean your torso forward, you'll target more of the upper region of your chest. If you lean your torso backward, you'll emphsize more of the lower region of your chest. And if you keep your torso upright, you'll target the overall chest, especially the middle chest

I just sit straight and do it with a nice squeeze and hold it for a few seconds. Then to do other parts of my chest, I just go and do another chest exercise

It actually doesn’t matter what angle you’re at, your chest is hit in every single area as long as it’s around the middle. And your lower chest will still be hit even if you emphasized the upper portion.

If you don’t have good control of your body, then sure.
There's no middle chest. Your chest is composed of the pectoralis major ("lower chest") and the pectoralis minor ("upper chest", also called the clavicular head)
Most pec exercises will target both heads fairly well, though benching on a slight incline (15~30°) is proven to work your upper chest more while working the lower chest as much as a flat bench, making incline pressing movements somewhat superior.

I have to agree. This is junk exercise advise. There are other machines and exercises to target these other areas without destabilizing your body and possibly create injuries.
