Absolutely loved this film. Would love to start building trails in Eastern Washington but have no idea how to even start. Great inspiration! Thanks

Fly over the PNW and see how much the FS cares about the forest: Large swaths of trees cut i.e. clear-cuts. Not the giant cuts of old, maybe, but heinously large imo. I was a Forest Recreation resources major in college in Oregon, and can honestly say that the FS is in bed w/ the logging industry. W/out massive pressure in the form of lawsuits from layers hired by environmental groups, the forest would be raped at an even worse rate than currently. I'll continue below

Need some tips advise?? I Live in southern California and I'm Building this Really fun Flow trail Cut Into the Side of a Naked grassy Mountain no Forest to Hide under, I'm More than Half Finished Getting Closer to the Bottom, I started mid winter as the dirt has been Nice and Moist and I Have Not Had a Problem Until a few days ago I was Putting in some Hard work I was On a Roll getting a lot done and I Look down the Mountain and Oh shit a Forestry Truck Speeding up the Dirt road below me and stops I see some one get Out and Look up the Mountain Like they wanted me to Come down and Talk but I and My Girlfriend Just Calmly Walked up the Trail Like we Didn't Notice them, and Got away down the Other side of the Mountain, we Got away But I'm sure they where there for us and Now they Know where we are Building, we have not been up in a few days Now Because we don't need nor want no Fine or jail Time Simply for Building a Mountain biking trail, what the hell is wrong with This.? Why can't they Leave us alone? Our Dinky Little Side cute trail Dose No Harm, what should we do Now? I feel I Have Less of a Purpose and don't Know what to do any More I dedicated Hours of my Time and for what to Be Bullied Out of Our GOD Given Play Ground?? this Land is for all of us Its Our Birth Right to Be able to Enjoy and Respect it and I do Nothing but that, There are Spots not far from here that People are Littering and Completely Trashing these Beautiful Places Yet they Waste there Time Just to Bully us the Ones that Cherish and Completely Love and Respect Mother Nature, I don't see them doing anything about the Litter Bug's the Real Problem! wtf?? I seriously don't Know what to do with my Self Now! I feel Lost and Deeply Hurt that they can do this to us, with there abuse of Power No Different that a Fucking Pig! so Please If any one out there is going through this do you Have any Tips for me on How I can Deal with this?? should I Just Build Under the Moon Light.? Get the Trail Finished and If I'm Caught Riding Just Say I Ride it But didn't Build it.? I WILL NOT STOP RIDING NOR BUILDING NEVER!!

i'VE been waiting for a legit mountain bike documentary, looks cool.
Up here in BC we went through the same thing for years and now we have a huge amount of legal trails, although some of my favorites ,because they are on private land, are still illegal;)

so as long as we don't harm others or create a serious erosion problem, I see no reason in why people can't shred anywhere.

@shizniot : (myself) Look at the WOPR (Western Oregon Plan Revision ) that the BLM proposed in '09. BLM controls more land than any gov agency and proposed cutting 700 million board feet of timber, including lots of old-growth (an ecosystem we've lost almost entirely to logging). Luckily, it was struck down w/ pressure from the public. But why do we have to fight to save the land we own from bureaucrats and the wealthiest 1% of the population who control industry and gov? This is a snowjob!
