This is some amazing DOWNHILL riding. I agree with some of the other comments. The are no drops, big jumps, planks, or transitions. I have to give props to whoever filmed this because it because that is some great cinematography.

che griffin yes I get that it's cool to splash through puddles. I guess if these guys are the ones maintaining the trails and fixing the erosion caused by riding when they're muddy, that's their choice.

The word seems perfect, to not be limited to a big park full of wooden platforms, berms and jumps and be free to ride where ever, how ever is true freeriding.

Freeriding is riding just for fun, wherever you ride, without any measuring in style or speed, as you do in contest. what today is usually called freeride (smooth track, big jumps, or whatever) is just a small part of the real thing ;)

I love to ride and this video is sick. The cinematography of it is beautiful and is all I love about riding in the PNW.
the best way to look at this sport that i love " its like being on a rollercoaster except your in control of how fast you want to go and when to put the anchors on :-)
i often come back to this video when i want a refresher on quality freeride :D
some people live for the sheer adrenaline of rushing downhill. they love it soo much that the large uphills don't mean anything to them and the little bit of dh they actually get is worth it.
This video makes me sad yet also really stoked... Sad because I'm stuck in Florida with all it's amazing flatness...

@kontaktseistrup because the line of the jumps are marked and build to do anything you like while jumping and because the length of the line is way bigger ..so you can play with youre skills :)

@isaacwilk freeride is a style of mtb riding, it's not truly downhill mtb, and it's not cross country, basically it's mountain biking but with more stunts

@Enduro418 yea i ride dirtbike too but seriously get a downhill bike you wont regret it... it feels like your one with your bike whereas dirtbiking kinda controls you... its lighter yet you get even more physiclly tired its great fun
