I think imagination can fill it in pretty well. He was holding a book with *every* one of his sins, passed and those he’d commit in the future. My first thought, was that there was something pretty abhorrent that he had mentally been pushing away that he was faced with a physical recording of. The idea that others might learn his specific brand of sin, or the reality of it being a cosmically recorded thing, pushed him to commit the last sin he would commit: “testing fall damage”.
@@andyfamasdon't get me wrong. I would have been screaming like a baby. I'd just like to think I'd at least put the person out of their misery. Plus, I wouldn't be haunted by..." You coward! You're killing me! Save me!" Sounds harsh but it's better than the situation he was in.
@@pocadon I mean at this point were in hell what makes you think you’re getting put out of your misery? I’m assuming if you get got you’re down there for eternity to be fair
Your stories have been helping me push out gargantuan turds for a long time, my dear friend. 🍺 Here's to all the dumpers you've helped slip and slide from my bhole dear brother
Is it really a sin to run away when there is absolutely nothing you can do? It gets more complicated since he probably knew he couldn’t survive or escape even if he ran away. Taking his eyes was a bit harsh in any case, a mark of shame/ the damned would have been more fitting.
This was a very interesting story, and I'm always interested in Hell stories. I could see this being a really cool movie if paced properly. I'd love to play one of the characters. But I don't QUITE understand the ending. And I feel as though the "Old Man" needed to be a bit more mysterious and menacing, without as much dialogue. But that's just my opinion, and it's still a fantastic story. And if anyone can help explain the ending more clearly, it would be much appreciated.
At first I was thinking, a neverending library doesn't sound like hell to me, but then they wandered off and i knew they weren't smart enough to just stay put
He left that guy to die in the dark so the entity took the protagonists eyes so he will always see dark too hence him saying nobody can say he doesn't have humour I think.@@incisorboy
The story revolves around a group of scientists and soldiers who discover a massive copper door deep within a cavern. The door depicts horrifying images of human suffering and evokes a strong sense of dread. Upon blasting the door open, they find a seemingly endless labyrinth of shelves filled with books that document sins in every language, past, present, and even future. As the group explores further, one of the scientists, Grant, becomes obsessed with the books, believing they record every sin, including those not yet committed. His mental state deteriorates, leading to his tragic death. The team encounters a corridor lined with severed heads that mutter in various languages. One head communicates through blinking, confirming the books document sins. The situation spirals into horror as the team faces a monstrous force, losing a member and barely escaping, only to find themselves deeper in a nightmarish labyrinth.
Looping myself in in case this gets an answer, i don't get it either. What's the correlation in punishment between being a coward (in an incredibly horrific situation let's be fair here) and being blind? "scared blind" or something?
just a thought: because he left his fellow man to die by being a selfish coward, he chose the wrong path. choosing the wrong path by being a selfish coward resulted in the loss of his eyes. maybe because he was unable to lead himself down the correct path, he lost his eyes? or maybe it’s supposed to be funny because the old man left no physical damage on anyone who died, but took the eyes of the only man who lived because he was a selfish coward who couldn’t choose the right path. i’m not totally sure tbh, just throwing out my thoughts
@@jasjamjon the note the spirit described the protagonist as leaving his fellow mortal to die in the dark .. so he took his eyes so he will always see the dark too as punishment.. that's my thoughts.

A lil confusing ngl, how did they go from head corridor to entrance to being chased by wall and back at the head corridor. Also what implied he had no eyes..... i thought he knew he was blind
I thought he did that to himself over losing his sanity. But another commenter said that the creator was somewhat of a collector, and he just took his eyes because he has a dark sense of humor or something.

CHRISTIAN WALLIS STORY 💯💯💯 LET'S GOOO
Limbo, lust...all gone... With gluttony soon to follow.
He left him to die in the dark so he will die in the dark that’s some kind of justice tbh
If all the sins are recorded there, then they are predetermined, which means the individual shouldn't be held responsible for them
That's assuming determinism is the only means of knowing the future. Timeless beings are more satisfactory.
Yeah that's the only issue that I have with it.
Thats how it works in Islam
nobody is guilty for his sin since Allah caused the sin
