@@conni4518 as someone who also has dyslexia I think they are referring to long paragraphs.
I can read and write and read small paragraphs really easily but if it’s a block of text like a novel I lose track and the words blur together and my brain wonders off.
But they could be referring to something else, that’s just my experience

It’s basically rec. there’s 3 movies in that series, or you can watch the same movie but reshot pretty much scene for scene in the movie quarantine but the second movie in that franchise is a bit less connected than the rec. series that has a decent amount of story building and decent religion based infection.

The ending was so satisfying. This story is a genuine gem amongst creepypastas.
It wasn’t for me it just felt like the writer just killed everyone last second. and did a quick rap up we never saw the “ mysterious figure” till the end. also while I understand stand it it’s a cliff hanger and that makes sense in a creepy pasta, it just fells like the story hit a styrofoam wall and made a ending as quickly as possible while trying to slow down…

@@exploratory-fordora9672 Thank you! The pied piper guy was so totally out of no where. Like it just felt like a huge cop out. It’s an interesting idea to introduce but i rather have seen it beforehand while people were still really scared and after to help give reason as to why the mc was finally leaving the apartment. i have a couple more problems aswell but that doesn’t really matter rn.

Usually an hour is too long for me, but damn this story was amazing, I’ll be trying out more hour long vids now as it looks like I have a ton of content to enjoy lol
Personally I love the hour+ stories. I throw them on to help me sleep at night and then just pick up where I left off the next night
I use them for the car rides to and from school which is about 2 hours
I enjoy the longer ones being I can listen to them at work so it makes a ten hour shift go faster

It gives me the same vibes as the mist, but in a more familiar enviroment.(i live in a old russian style apartment)
Or Cujo even, given it's the same 'trapped in a place and there's a monster outside who will eat me if I try to get away from here" I guess the Mist was like Cujo + more characters, adding the element of social breakdown scenes and people problems compounding the central problem.
When I clicked on this story I thought it would be a typical around 20 minute creepsmcpasta video but when I saw the time I started coughing hard lol

if you haven't read or seen "the mist," it's got the same sort of premise. it was originally a steven king book so maybe you can read it or find an audiobook of it. otherwise, it was also made into a movie
There’s also “Sweet home” a Korean comic with a similar premise, there’s a live action adaptation which is good in Netflix

There is a movie called “The divide” that is insanely similar to this. It’s more of a psychologically fucked movie than a horror but they get welded into the bomb shelter of there apartment complex and shit goes south fast.

You know what's really bothersome as the amazing story ends in your mind you're still thinking there's more to it only realizing that's it, there's no more, the story is at it's end or until the author decides to add an extra plot twist to the ending. Love every story, it's like watching vivid stories in my mind.
Many creepy pastas end on a cliff hanger but like I said in another reply it fells like it hit a styrofoam wall Getting a ending as quickly as possible but just slowed down enough to leave a (I want to say bad but I’ll refrain from it) cliff hanger

@@exploratory-fordora9672 yeah the ending feels rushed like the author just got tired of the story and didn't know where to take it. Alot of loose ends were explained I rushed away but not really explored. It feels like there was alot that was just left, and the ending feels empty

It’s super exciting to hear that about writers getting the credit they deserve for their incredible writing ✍️ if only I could focus on one idea long enough to fill a short story 🤣 plenty of ideas but don’t know how I can put them down in writing without sounding like a loon
You could always write a creepypasta from the perspective of a crazy person 🤔 maybe they're seeing or hearing something that's actually there and people don't believe them. But that's a little cliché. Maybe you can jump between reality and the character's delusions? That would be a good excuse to jump from concept to concept rapidly while keeping a constant story.
If you do end up writing something I wanna read it though!
If you are experiencing writers-block, I always try free-writing.(it’s when you write LITERALLY everything you are thinking at the time)
Its pretty much like Stephen King's The Mist without the mist. Military experimenting with interdimensional portals and "accidentally" inviting in a whole other world into ours. I loved this story worth every minute. Clearly the goverment still sought value in this project otherwise they would of nuked the place and said "oops faulty reactor" lmao
Oh man, I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Very intense and picturing myself there made it come to life even more. Plus creature stories are some of my favorite ones.

At the time they didn’t know the crawler existed, assumed monsters couldn’t get to the upper floors
I was listening to this while at work and I genuinely was disappointed that it wasn't a Show with only one season, God the characters and writing was perfect. Didnt over so the monsters to the point that it became an action story

Nice! As an American who lives in a small Russian town not far from Vladivostok (about 40 km), the opening part where he describes the problems with "Kruschevkas" is extremely accurate, as I rent a flat in one (3rd floor, one room). Drab 5-story concrete panel building, hearing (usually drunk) neighbors arguing through the walls, and a horrific sewer smell in the stairwell. Very accurate. Moreover, the part about most of the tenants living in them because they received them in Soviet times is true as well. All of my neighbors either are old or they are younger, but inherited the apartment. And the old lady who lives next door is incredibly rude to me due to my nationality, and often reports me to the police for things like flushing my toilet late at night, or hearing my washing machine, or hearing my girlfriend when we're having fun, or the fact that I'm American and don't belong in Russia, etc. Luckily, the police don't care and have assured me that she is just a crazy old lady who they don't take seriously. They just check my visa and registration, tell her off and threaten her with a fine if she keeps bugging them for no reason, and leave.

What scares me most is that we never find out whether or not Maxim is part of the leaving survivors. He could've been lost on one of the expeditions, or lured by the humanoid. The author never tells us if he made it, nor does he ever follow up with the welder and his son. It shows the reality of survival situations, where the narrator abandons someone and there's no closure. You're simply left to wonder.
This will be great as a movie
