There isn't any risk. As long as it's not over 300 F it should be okay. I live in fl, and my phone gets super hot outside during the day. I had a s6 active, and i had to replace the battery, but I put mine in the oven at 140 (as i dont have a heat gun) so yes, it's safe!
@@Strength_In_Wisdom why would there be? That is also how its done by professionals. just dont heat too hot or stay heating in one area for too long. use a digital heat thermometer sand dont go over a certain temp. search google for the temp limit
Great job! Where did you get the plastic tool from and what is it called. Can you give me the link you got the back glass from and a link for the front glass? One more question my frint and back glass is cracked up on my Galaxy 9S+ and the screen has black spots and I can't log in to phone the touch screen messed up when the phone broke. Is ut worth replacing the glass?
OEM Samsung adhesive is waterproof. only reason to use an additional glue or silicone is for added protection but not necessary if using proper back glass and or proper adhesives
The new backs usually come with it already on there, as for the fingerprint reader it's usually sticky enough to just put it back on the new back glass.

love how straight to the point you are, but im not comfortable heating up my phone like that, is there a risk heating it up like that?
I'm sure there's no risk. The phone heats up for much longer periods from use.

You don't need to clean or remove the old adhesive from the back of the phone?
Will your phone still be water resistant after changing a back glass on your s9?
Mine isn't anymore:/
Any product link?

THANK YOUUU I really love my mom's phone

Shouldn't you use any silicone on the sides, for waterproofing though?

I taped my back panel together because shards were getting stuck in my fingers. Now, I'll order a new panel and see if this works lol
You clearly took the back of this before because you dont remove the fingerprint sensor cable so did you remove the back before you started to record?
Maybe the Flex cable got disconnected from then phone.
Is back printed imei number was matched or not?
what does it matter?
Do you not need any adhesive??
The new backs usually come with it already on there, as for the fingerprint reader it's usually sticky enough to just put it back on the new back glass.
whats the tool called u use to heat it up?
Heat gun
Blow dryer, girls use it for their hair
After replacing the back glass it's still waterproof or not?
No
Nope.
@@munderabukhder9022 why wouldnt it be? if proper adhesive is used of course it will be. its not rocket science lol
@@blazeaglory much easier said than done.. very difficult to replicate original deal with just some glue
You dont have to apply glue before installing the new back glass?
Is it still water resistance?
No!
What was that first mumble you come out with. i mean the first words you say were a mumble lol
Need to watch the camera ribbon when taking of the back.. but apart from that good job man !
Considering replacing my back, what do you mean by camera ribbon?
Can my carrier tell that I replaced this with an oem part? Trying to avoid a damage fee when I turn mine in.
Same bro
hella bro. I cracked mine like 5 days before my lease was up and i was hella maaaad. im tryna avoid that 200 damage fee cuz a bro got NO money.
@@JoseRodriguez-ze8xn Okay, I just turned mine in yesterday after repairing it and they either didn't notice or give a shit. Go for it my dudes.
Just use a dbrand skin
U didn't apply glue
Y didnt unplug the emprant plug
Is it still waterproof this way?
It would not be waterproof like this you would have to buy the gooey stuff you saw when he was taking the back off
If your phones cracked I don't think it'd be waterproof anymore anyways
@@OkayAlright mines got a small crack going along the back and mine went for a swim yesterday (2+ hrs) and it still works.
@@simple4195 yeah thats samsung adhesive. not very hard to find
