@@timflowers2933 you turn airplane mode on and then turn on bluetooth after. Airplane mode will be on (no network info being broadcast) and bluetooth will turn back on. Same for wifi.
I’m a iPhone 7 user and I really thinking of buying myself a S9 Plus, you vídeos are awesome and make me want to try it android for the very first time! Keep going with the hard work
Thanks bro, playing my bluetooth while checking other apps is what I needed months ago! Now I don't have to suffer while playing music for family & friends! 😎👍🏾🎧📻
Great video! I have the S8 Plus, and all of these tips applied. The separate audio and the dual audio were both new to me, and I look forward to taking advantage of them.
Digging this ch.. Thanks for all the share info for the s9+... You helped me out on some good tips along picking up the whitedome shield.. Keep doing the good work man..!!!
Wow, I had no idea about that separate app sound feature! Thanks Jimmy! Awesome video as usual. I've known about the others for some time now. Waiting for some more drop test videos hehe I'd love to see the Speck Presidio Grip 👍🏻
Been using trusted devices for quite some time, but the one I didn't know about (and appreciate you showing) was the separate app audio. Don't know how many times I've been listening to music and skimming FB and having that audio take over. Great video and thanks.
Bless you for this!! I'm 52 & about to get a new phone, as soon as Samsung comes out with the S9 Active in a month or so I hope as I have RA & thus the "dropsies" & am still using my S5 Active despite a night in a 4' deep pool & literally about 100 or more drops!! I would have spent SO much time trying to figure ALL of this stuff out because I haven't upgraded in a very long time & mine has absolutely none of these capabilities! I'm jazzed now to upgrade as I listen to a ton of music from my phone & knowing that I can connect 2 Bluetooth speakers/headsets really has my excited! Thanks again, you're my new favorite person/channel! P.S. You also gained a new subscriber! ;-)
Great video Jimmy!!! Quick question, with the latest update from Samsung; my S9 Plus music via bluetooth slows down and is distorted a couple of minutes after the screen saver comes on. Any idea what's going on?
Just stumbled upon your channel Jimmy. Although I did not learn anything new for Bluetooth I thought the video was very well made and did serve well as a refresher/reminder of a few BT options. I'm sure many people benefited from this. Again, good production work man, everything looks and sounds professional. Oh, BTW thanks for mentioning your mic by model. I saw that my local Walmart now carries 2 USB mic's. One is from Razer and the other was an Yeti. I was curious as to how the Yeti performs. Yours sounds excellent. Thanks for your video and taking the time to do it well.
Very informative video, one question , I have a lot of music on my PC, I was wondering if I can put all my music folders on a sd card and play them from my s9 plus to a bluetooth device?, by the way , what song/artist were you playing on this video? Sounds pretty good.
Hi, Brilliant tutorial. I could not find out myself how to stream the sound from my S9 to an external Bluetooth speaker. It has become so sophisticated that tutorials are necessary ;=)
Awesome video. I've only just got a S9+ and had know idea of these programs. Made a huge difference especially using 2 headphones. Have tried to do that on the S8 and gathered it wasn't possible. Thanks for the info.
Help! Media Volume Sync is no longer an option anywhere on the s9. And my sound is so inconsistent with my earbuds. Sometimes loud, sometimes not so loud. But it won't let me control them separately. YET my truck does allow me to do that but its automatic. I cant change the settings on either. Real frustrating that I can't change it.
The 'Bluetooth Media volume sync' was a game changer for me. Having true wireless headphones, I never felt it was loud enough. After turning on 'Media Volume Sync' really raised the value of these head phones. Now i can feel complete and content with true wireless volume.. HUGE FUCKING THANX!! \m/ 😁 \m/
Did NOT even know about this... have had the S9+ for a month now. I switched from the iphone x and everyday i find new things that are actually really useful
Nice job. Number 3 was new to me. I recently 'stumbled' into the 'trusted device' setting (#4) on Bluetooth while using with my audio speakers. Nice to not have to keep unlocking to check phone. Didn't know about 'trusted places' though. Your videos have been a big help in learning my way around my new S9. Thx.
Jimmy, thanks for posting this. This is a great info regarding S9+ usage. However, i have a question. Have you ever used the dual audio mode to connect a bluetooth speaker and a bluetooth earphone simultaneously? Because i would like to record a musical performance video, in which i would be playing along a backing track. So that the track would come out from the speaker as well as from the earphone that will serve as my guide during the recording.
Great video Jimmy! I was real glad to find out about #4 I hate locking and unlocking my phone so I usually just keep it unlocked.. But once I leave it in a public place by mistake, I panic.. Now I have the perfect solution!! Thanks for the helpful video and also I got to understand the whole dual bluetooth thing better.. Big thumbs up! 👍
Thanks for your video Jimmy. I came across your site looking for information on my S9 plus. What I learned from your video was, I was not aware that you could sink up 2 Bluetooth speakers, thank you! I do have a question. My girlfriend, she does not remember how but she set up up up code passcode. Now she's having trouble removing it any suggestions? We both use the finger print scanner to a unlock our phones. I use the pattern design as backup. I also use the safe location being my home in the smart lock. Thanks Again.
Hey Jimmy, It was all good stuff. I was not aware of any of these. I may not use them all, but I will check all of them out and see what works best for me. Good Stuff!!
Great video. I learned a couple of new things today. I did not know about the separate app thing. Thanks for the great tips. I always look forward to your videos.
That is the beauty of Samsung phone. So many additional useful features. My Google Pixel doesn't have a feature wherein we can take photo just by using some Voice command with manual timer, like my previous phone HTC 10 & V20. I really miss😞 this wonderful handsfree feature.
Thanks for awesome video, had HTC your years and you have helped me discover some awesome features for Galaxy devices! I have now subscribed for more useful info 👍😀
athen sam - 12:45 he says "give it a *huge* thumbs up". I'm simply pointing out that UA-cam only provides one size of thumbs up. Quit being a 💩. (Sorry, you deserve a much bigger 💩 to represent how big of a 💩 you are, but that's the only size available for me to use.)
Dude, thank you so much for the separate app sounds suggestions. In my car, if I'm not on the bluetooth input I can't hear the navigation voice. For example, if I'm listening to XM, CD, or FM radio, the navigation is still trying to send the voice to the radio which, goes no where. Not any more. Thanks again for that one.
Genuine thanks for this video 👍👍👍 (the first 3 were all unknown to me- I knew the last one as I have a j3 work phone and use it on that. I find it less useful on the s9 as the fingerprint scanner is quick and easy)
I am just about to get a S9 Plus so this is all new to me. An off topic question has to do with control of recording video. Is there a way to set up the video camera so it is ready to roll and then controling it without touching the phone. Say I wanted it to be several feet away and be able to turn the record option on and off and then on again. Can that be done with voice control or with some bluetooth device? Thanks.
Love all ur videos!!! learned a few rlly cool new things so thank you!! Love the headphone sharing on bluetooth and I also rlly like being able to route my sound to different devices instead of all one place😊. Now if I cld only figure out why my edge lighting still wont work I'd be a happy camper😉😏.
Can you answer this question for me... I have the s9 plus... when connected to my method wireless ear buds (bluetooth) the phone connection is awesome, now on a call its great but when i switch to video call the other person sounds really muffled... any suggestions on what can be done for this? Also I've learned about my phone from you... and thank you
PS I decided to subscribe... You're quick to the point without being overly chatty or trying too hard to be entertaining. Thanks a bunch!
Dude the dual blue tooth is legit. My daughter and I can share a movie on the air plane instead of sharing one earpiece each. Thank you.
Your not suppose tu use bluetooth in a plane
@@nathansmith1119 you are dumb
@@eeeeaaaa1280 bruh why not?😂
How do you use your bluetooth on a plane when it's on airplane mode?, everytime I try it it doesn't work..... what am I doing wrong?

Thanks bro, playing my bluetooth while checking other apps is what I needed months ago! Now I don't have to suffer while playing music for family & friends! 😎👍🏾🎧📻
Thumbs up on the separate device volume bluetooth deal #3! Thanx Jimmy!
Had no idea abt the volume sync. It's fantastic, thank you.
Great video! I have the S8 Plus, and all of these tips applied. The separate audio and the dual audio were both new to me, and I look forward to taking advantage of them.

Normally these types of videos give the most basic info and are of no help. But damn, dude... I didn't know 3 of these! Good shit, bro! 👊🏽
Thanks Jimmy! Had no clue about smart lock. I also had no clue about most the features you shared. A Big THANK YOU!
Wow, I had no idea about that separate app sound feature! Thanks Jimmy! Awesome video as usual. I've known about the others for some time now. Waiting for some more drop test videos hehe I'd love to see the Speck Presidio Grip 👍🏻
Carlos Torres cus most UA-camrs Dont Advocate it! These have been on Samsung phones from S8, S8 Plus, Note 8! Bluetooth 5.0 is Awesome!!!!
Carlos Torres I didn't know about the split feature either. I learned something today.
Yeah this was the new one for me, cheers!
Amazing, just got my S10 today and I'm loving all of these features thank you for sharing 😁
Adding a trusted device is what I was searching for. And learned even more. Thank you for your videos!
One of the BEST hidden features video I've seen. Others seem to always be boring and goofy ..
Split application volumes and the split BT devices sound....
GR8 refreshers...
Thnx Jimmy 👍🏾

Been using trusted locations and devices for ages on the S7(now have S9). The Dual connection and separate app sound was new to me. Thanks
Thank you! Was looking for number 4 specifically, but I learned new things from 1-3. Thanks again.
Trusted device is new for me. Thanks for this Video Jimmy.
Thank you, i have had a bluetooth issue even the car stereo people couldnt fix but you solved my issue.
Feature #3 helped me alot, now youtube videos connect with my earbuds thanks!👍

Good stuff. All these things work on the S7 edge except for the dual Bluetooth output. So I learned several things. Thanks
