I REMEMBER THE DAY THE TIME AND I WAS DEVASTATED. I WAS ONLY 14 YRS OLD I LOVED ELVIS STILL DO, I REMEMBER THE NIGHT THE DAY HE DIED I LISTENED TO ELVIS MUSIC ALL NIGHT CRYING MY EYES OUT ELVIS WILL ALWAYS BE THE KING.
I've loved him for the ver Sixty Five years! I love his voice, his songs, his face, his beautiful heart, his kindness; the fact that he gave so much of himself to his fans. Do you know anyone else, that would come down his driveway at 9pM just to talk to fans that congretaed there, and sign autographs. I still miss him.
Being named after this legend makes my heart happy. Knowing that my mom knew I would never met this man, but knowing I would understand one day why she named me what she did.
Chuck Berry was the king of rock n roll. elvis did interviews admitting he hung around with Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters and lots of Black American musicians and copied their style. Elvis Presley was not ashamed of telling where he learned to play and dance the way he did. Chuck Berry was playing rock n roll years before whites knew who he was but, he was the first to play that type of music. It is well known that lots of "race" music was appropriated in the old days. These are facts you can actually look up for yourself. Start with their age differences. ...
I see Chuck as 'The Father' of rock and roll and Elvis was definitely 'the King'. Elvis brought RnR to the masses and was just like a King with his appearance and entourage etc…
Maybelline was Chuck Berry's first release in June 1955, Elvis released "That's Alright Mama" in July 1954, so Elvis predates Berry by a year. "Describe Elvis Presley? He was the greatest who ever was, is or ever will be." - Chuck Berry. Elvis is the King.
This Brits loved! Elvis truly!!!! He impacted the world!!wow
