To Anybody with a v6 im gonna give u reality. V6 charger was my first car and i messed with the exhaust for 3 years to find the best setup and ill say this. With this car there is no best setup, u cant think of this car as a performance car, its just not. Its sad to say and its sad to think about but its the truth. I went almost full bolt ons and i barely went over 315hp with almost 2.5k in parts. Now to each their own but i would never do it again but with this video, i say do whatever you think sounds best and be proud of your car. Its kind of a blessing you can just enjoy your sound without having to worry about performance. Ive had the flowmaster 40 series and the super 10 but the super ten was louder. I had a straight pipe, which was just loud. I had a borla atak system which i didnt like how quiet it was. And i finished off with a double x pipe into the 2 rear borla mufflers and i actually really liked the sound it had.
I went with the big boz 4 setup on my challenger and was really happy. I decided to go with Amazon dual tips upower I think and after a few month did a stage one 91 tune and it sounds even better and deeper. I also am using a k&n intake as well. Sounds fantastic and I get compliments often
Notice any decrease in torque? I heard someone say they felt the vehicle lost some hp when they installed the big boz? Is that just error in installation ?
I have the Big Boz 4s on my GT AWD and it sounds great. Loud. No, it doesn't sound like a pushrod V8, but that shouldn't be expected. I get plenty of compliments on my exhaust though. As for the V6 haters; first, the V6 produces more power per liter than the Hemis, second, the V6 produces more power than the V8s of not so long ago and can match the performance numbers of those cars, third, the V6 is the only engine option in the Challenger if you want AWD. It's not hard to bump the power numbers up in the V6 either to give that extra bit of performance to the AWD.
@user-vi2fm2kz2h upper and lower manifolds, throttle body, RPM Motorsports intake resonator delete, hellcat lower intake box with pass through, rear muffler delete, Bog Boz 4s at the mids. From there it's tuning and ignition coils. Then you are into forced induction. Computer is likely locked so it will need to go to a tuner or be sent out. There are also services where you exchange them for an unlocked and tuned one. Start with exhaust and intake though.
1st one sounds like a trumpet during the idle revs... but i'll say this.. the V6 exhaust mods sound better in person. Well, most of them. I like the Boz the most of these 3.
My only problem with these vids, is that they only ever show idle, 4 grand revs, and 0-60 take off. They don't EVER talk about drone (an annoying, mind-numbing, teeth grating resonance at certain RPMs- usually from 1500 to 3000 where this car is at 90% of the time). They also don't ever talk about pop-can farts on downshifts from 60 back down to 0. Now I'm not saying these 3 particular exhaust examples do this but... you'll never know from these vids. Drone is no joke, and leads people with the Pentastar 3.6 to go back to stock. That and loud is fun for a while, but do you want loud even at 7mph creeping out your driveway at 6am or coming home at MN? Tim B's exhaust set-up for the Pentastar 3.6 for the win. No drone. Deep idle. Loud when you are on it. Quiet when you are off. You aren't alerting the cops to your presence from 3 blocks away. No tractor-farting on downshifts OR upshifts either. You all can't tell me you didn't here that tin-can fart pop while the first two cars were shifting into 2nd and 3rd with the Vibrants and the Big Boz mufflers! Look up Tim B's on here, on the forums, or on FB. Uses cheap stainless steal Direct Trend Flow 2 mufflers that replaces the mids with resonator delete in the back just like the setups in this vid. They are longer than the Flowmasters so there is NO DRONE at any RPM. No Pentastar will ever sound as good as a V8, but the Challenger, 300's, and Charger V6's are terribly over-muffled, but they also don't have to sound like race Hondas or be obnoxiously loud to sound better either. You don't have to live with drone while cruising at 45, or 70mph either. You can't go wrong with the Tim B's setup.
I have a gt awd with flowmaster super 10's and 2 dynomax race bullets. I love the way it sounds, way different from all of these especially while driving
The Big Boz was the best IMO
Never heard of Big Boz before. But honestly they sound the best.
I prefer the Vibrant exhaust, Isn't too raspy and I think it's perfect for a V6 engine.
how'd exhaust addicts know these are the 3 mufflers I'm deciding between 😂. This video definitely helped
what did you pick?

I have a 2019 Charger GT and I will never put an aftermarket exhaust on it because the Pentastar V6 sounds like @$$ with all of the ones I've heard.

@ I definitely gained torque. It’s a completely different animal. Especially with the tune. It’s so much fun and It’s been over a year without issues.

What would you recommend, minus a RIPP .

That’s what they all say 💀
Still, a V6 will never sound as good as a V8! 😅
@@JP-xv8he that's opinion ... pushrod V8 blah blah blah ... how many positively good sounding cars don't have pushrod V8s ... lol ??? Lots ...
Nice work! 😎👊🏻🔨All sound pretty good. But, the Big Boz sounds the best.
Big Boz 4, for the win. Just ordered 2 for my Durango
I was wondering what one would sound like on my Durango
I got the big boz 4 on my durango with straight pipe in the back super loud and amazing
Nice video.
I have the 2017 GT with Solo Performance.
Of your 3, I’ll go with the Big Boyz!
all sounds good. vibrant sounds better here
The white challenger is mine haha
Big boz for the win 🔥

Flowmaster Super 10 gets my vote.
I don't know guys I think the viberents sounded a little better..
Probably a dumb question but when u order the big boz 4s do they come with 2 per order or should I order 2 of them??
Vibrant sounds the best
Have you guys done big boz mid mufflers with vibrant resinators in the back? Sounds like it would give a deep tone with less rasp in it.
I have a gt awd with flowmaster super 10's and 2 dynomax race bullets. I love the way it sounds, way different from all of these especially while driving
Thinking about the big boz now for my JGC V6. Thought about the super 10s but idk anymore
Does anyone know where to get the exhaust tip on the bottom from 3:07 at?
I’m just saving up for a Challenger R/T, these v6’s sound like tuner cars
Well it's an overhead cam V6 with VVT ... soooo ... yeah.
Get a borla attk people try and pretend they can tell the difference but a borla on the v6 sounds very similar to the v8 sounds
I think Flowmaster Flow FX sounds the best on a v6
What's your labor cost
I like the flow master ..lol 😮😮
Flow master all day
The v6 sounds like my morning fart after a hard night of drinkin
Vibrant
Should never take the resonators off of V6. It'll sound buzzy.
V6!
Have to take the “Ghost” of the last one. You cant have that on there with a V6……….
Here we go with the lip guards.
Did you pay for his car and lip guards?
