It dont sound like a freaking honda. Sounds pretty good. Half these guys saying this crap have inside issues with themselves. I don't care if you drive a Ford Fiesta. And you wanna straight pipe it and put 20 inche rims on it. If that's what you like and you can do it safe without hurting yourself or others I'm all for it. If everybody had a V8 or a hemi the world would be boring as hell. Someone stole my Charger SXT. Right out my driveway. These cars are notorious for being stolen. If you can put a LoJack on yours. I wish I did. But I switched up and got a Lexus Gs f sport. But that don't mean I'm a JDM only guy now. I wanna get a RT sooner or later just looking for the right set up. Either a scat pack or RT. I have the patience of a Vulture so I'll wait till I see the perfect used 1 with like 30,000 miles. N I'm keeping my Lexus so that it can be my protect car. I love muscle cars. And cars in general. And I hate when people down others for what they drive. Everybody isn't in the same financial position as others and it's messed up. Instead be a motivation to them. And let them know if they want a nicer car and they are admiring yours. That they will probably have a better car then yours in a couple years anyway. They are material things. N don't add up to the people behind the wheels with beating hearts and souls. Remember that for anybody reading this that downs another because of what they have. A couple miles down the road may cause you to lose that V8 you cherished so much that it caused you to hurt others feelings. Karma is bitch and she's always around the corner looking to score. Be safe out there fellas. See you on that highway. 🚗🚘 ✌🏿💯

@@monkpumperify I bought a SXT just for a weekend car til I could actually find a used scat pack or even a R/T. It's my daily driver now. I don't see myself getting a scat pack for a few years now, but can still get some stuff done on the SXT.
The Green Gamer I have both I drive my V6 to work and out of town. And show off in the city in the 🐝. I cash out my scat for $35k. 2016 60k miles. I have the black charger rally and blue rt scat pack.
I have the same setup on my challenger sxt. Yes I agree that it sounds really good, but it’s off putting and a little confusing. When someone hears a challenger start up they expect to hear the roar of a viscous Hemi V8 under the hood, not a loud v6. If Chrysler ever implemented the pentastar v6 motor into a smaller sporty car such as the dart, people would be all over it because I feel like it’s a much more fitting exhaust note for the dart than it is for a modern muscle car
QuadPistonImports I completely agree with you! Coming from a former Dart owner, it had so much potential! If Dodge had dropped the 3.6L in the Dart, I’m sure that more people would’ve considered it. As for the Challenger, it is slightly off-putting when you hear the sound of a V6, rather than that of a Hemi. I’ve heard of people spending $1,500.00+ for a full exhaust in the attempt to achieve a slightly more aggressive sound, but I’m happy with my $220.00 exhaust.
QuadPistonImports I’m in the same boat, lol. I was desperately trying to get into a brand new 2019 R/T, but the dealership wanted a little over $47,000.00 and the wouldn’t budge on the price. So I’m probably going to keep my SXT until some 2020 Challengers start hitting my local dealership and I’ll probably trade in and purchase a 2019 R/T.
@@JeremyJOH ooooooh ok thx I think your vid just confirmed what car I’m going to get thx a lot. I was gonna get an RT just for the sound but if I can spend less on a V6 and make it close to a v8 I’m fine with that.
It is indeed illegal in Texas to run no mufflers. I’ve ran them with no problems at all. I also live in Austin area and have seen way louder cars so I wouldn’t worry about it (until you need an inspection). When I do it I always lower the car so it makes it harder to see under it during a normal traffic stop. I live in Williamson County and they are very strict on stuff like this.
Colton Brown Well, I’ve done some research into this matter and it’s actually not illegal to remove your mufflers or resonators in Texas... However, some counties in the state require an emissions test when you go for your inspection. If you were to remove your mufflers or resonators, it’s likely that you would fail the emissions test.
JeremyJOH .... straight from DPS website ...”Every motor vehicle shall at all times be equipped with muffler in good working order and in constant operation”. dps.texas.gov/rsd/vi/inspection/inspection/inspectioncriteria.aspx also stated under Texas Transportation Code 547.604
I’m late to this video, but if you take it to a muffler shop and straight pipe it, then go to the wrong shop and the check the exhaust it won’t pass the emissions test, in Texas we are required to have mufflers on our vehicles. Love ❤️ the way it sounds tho. I have a Charger V6 and want to do the same, but I’ll put a muffler on mine
I’m aware of a handful of counties in Texas that test the emissions of vehicles during the annual vehicle inspection, however, my county does not test emissions.
No just no. People really never considered glasspacks?? If you want absolutely NO rasp, some good pops and bangs on shifts and according to my friends with hemis “a classic muscle car tone” choose some glass packs, 2.5 inch ID/OD and maybe choose an x pipe if it’s in your budget, your car sounds great don’t get me wrong but I just did a straight pipe and added two cherry bomb glasspacks and in person mine sounds like a v8 with little to no cabin drone. Get compliments on it all the time.
Cops don’t care about the noise .. my srt8 is cammed and I have long tube headers aswell and it’s loud asf sounds nasty. I still have my mufflers and cats

Just picked up a 2016 SXT fr NYC might you know if i can do that . Will i pass inspection? Hopefully you will know
Thank You
Andrew Reyes From the information that I’ve gathered, it is legal in New York and you wouldn’t have a problem passing your vehicle inspection!
miadas wanted $300 😂 i called someone else they wanted $200. im in love.
Have you named her yet?
bro I actually like your vids and your channel, I think ive watched most of it even tho I have an RT but I gotta b honest with you at 1:20 no that does not sound good haha. can't wait for you to get into a V8 down the road.
Where in Texas are you?
I don’t even have 10,000 on my scat pack and have owned it for over two years. Current Milage is 4,164.
Damn
@@monkpumperify I bought a SXT just for a weekend car til I could actually find a used scat pack or even a R/T. It's my daily driver now. I don't see myself getting a scat pack for a few years now, but can still get some stuff done on the SXT.
Just to the track huh?
The Green Gamer I have both I drive my V6 to work and out of town. And show off in the city in the 🐝. I cash out my scat for $35k. 2016 60k miles. I have the black charger rally and blue rt scat pack.
That's crazy since I've owned my 2019 awd sxt challenger for one month and drove it over 10K kilometres already
I don't consider an exhaust with cats a "straight pipe"
So you deleted both mid mufflers and both resonators and straight piped it all? I own a 2016 SXT and am looking for something to do with it.
Cade Dawes Yessir. Both of the mufflers and both of the resonators were removed and replaced with straight pipe.
"Its getting pretty crowed and a mustang just pulled up sooo im not tryna get ran over, good one."🤣🤣🤣 #DodgeNation
Lmaoooo not trynna get ran over by a mustang 😆
Ghost Los Lol, it’s a scary world out there. 🤣
😂 that cali flag
Can this work for a dodge dart or journey?
Jermaine Young Yes!
The link for the Dodge dart registry is messed up I want to join can u post or send me another link for it?
ACTxOFxFAITH You can search “Dodge Dart Registry” on Facebook and the group should appear in the search results!
It depends on the year honestly
Here from the 361 bro
I’m your 1k sub that’s what’s up keep up the video bro
Tony Ramirez I really appreciate it, bro!
JeremyJOH Anytime!😎✊🏻
Will it sound the same on a 2012
not the “same” sounds just as good
Straight piping only sounds good on and suits old muscle cars (my opinion)
I deleted both on my 2020 and it sounds great
Did any engine light pop out after u striaght pipe it ??
Alejandro Lara No, this exhaust work didn’t throw any codes so there wasn’t a check engine light.
Alejandro Lara no, I straight piped my scat pack and it did not throw ANY codes
Did u delete the mid or rear mufflers?
Rear them mid mufflers are your Resonators actually 👍🏾
JeremyJOH me too. I’m competent for now until I get my hands on more money for a hemi powered chally or charger
Will cutting off mufflers and rear resonators void warranty?
No, it will not void your warranty.
Cost?
Great video man
Thank you!
What’s the drone sound that ppl talk about?
“Drone” is an excess, monotone sound from an exhaust modification that you can hear inside the vehicle.
@@JeremyJOH ooooooh ok thx I think your vid just confirmed what car I’m going to get thx a lot. I was gonna get an RT just for the sound but if I can spend less on a V6 and make it close to a v8 I’m fine with that.
So what was the total cost for straight piping it.
PLEASE RESPOND
Pricing will vary at each muffler shop that you visit, however, I paid $220.00 to straight pipe my Challenger.
JeremyJOH thanks bro
Man you can get that done for $100
Where do i buy the mufflers from ?
Amazon or ebay got mind coming next week
Thanks bro ive been trying to figure out the way to do this for a couple months now 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
Redkid85 I’m glad I could help!
@@JeremyJOH must be nice… bexar county does, well some places do
Are these cars reliable?
Very
This video was reassuring
Got a borla cat-back on my sxt, got a video on it if you'd like to hear it

Challenger Life preciate it
Just wanna note since you have the cats it's really not considered straight pipe
I try the rt and it sounds not that good actually
Jordan R put the super 10’s on it
That sounds lovely ❤️❤️❤️🥰
sounds like a v8 fr. good video bro
jackson Thank you, I really appreciate it!
Matt hardy shut up
Straight pipe is technically illegal in Texas. But, lots of people will inspect it anyways.
Thank You 4 your advice My Man! N.Y.👍🏾
Will this change void the warranty?
100%
@@moaz6395 Wrong. You clearly haven't read the federal regulations that protect consumers
Cops don’t care about the noise .. my srt8 is cammed and I have long tube headers aswell and it’s loud asf sounds nasty. I still have my mufflers and cats
my sxt is straight piped and it sounds so good- definitely worth it
How much did it cost?
It might be EPA not sound they talking about
Hella helpful. I was worried about it sounding bad but it’s a 6 so who cares let it be a 6. Lol
Sweet ride man
Needs louvres 😎
