Keep in mind that I'm just reporting what the best solo build is right now. I personally don't enjoy this build. Sure it's fun to blow up elites but the downtime in-between is defiantly boring. So for those complaining/disliking because you think this build is boring, well thats not my fault. I'm just the messenger. :P

There is a slight problem with this build, there is no primary skill, which in most incidents is required to destroy those little pesky doors...

You can blood rush through them and other barriers
Blood rush drops a corpse, you can use that for a lance.
If you are on PC Blood Rush and use that Corpse from Blood Rush to Blood Lance the door. On console just roll.
Some people have said the sound is a little too quiet. I recently switched over to windows 10 and had to redo all my settings in Sony Vegas Pro 13 so if it's alittle quiet then windows was telling me the DB levels were at the right peak. I'll have to mess with them more. It's tricky because for me its the right sound but what you hear might be different. It's tricky because I don't want to put it too high and then the video is unwatchable. So I'll do some tests on different devices and see what the perfect DB level is for windows 10.
Funny thing is Pestilence and Blood end up play very similar. Golem with maribound, Corpse lance, one hand on devour like 24/7. Pestilence is much more fun but also a lot weaker. This one is pretty much FON for DH. I hope they redesign Pestilence set soon.
It's funny because right now I'm running pestilence set and using blood spear, devour with the Aura rune, and frailty with the Aura rune. With lotd set so skills do not cost essence, and the passives set so that every time I consume a corpse I get a health globe and blood for blood passive. I have spiphon set to the first rune so Everytime I use it briefly I pull in all globes. The synergy with it makes it so discusting lol. At least until I get other sets.
For ever will I miss the OG Trang oul set in D2 were you became a floating skeleton when you put it on.
D2 is still playable, so how do you miss it?

those few people with this set on the leadervboards have all done the necro/demon hunter exploit and they all have lv130+ gems. the current highest legit run is 104 with the bone armor set.
ummm no? The highest in solo necro as of last night is the Tragoul set using the blood lancer build at 108.
Your talking about sSuperCraft? He has a lv126 bane of the trapped. They reset the leaderboards but they didn't reset the exploited gem lvs.
every person at the top of the leaderboards is using the blood lancer build.
there was no one with gems at 130 or above before exploit stop trying to cover it up #bushdidfrailtyexploit
My point to this comment was, no one was running this set until the exploit. No one had gems around 130 when the necro 1st came out on the leaderboards. When the exploit happened this set exploded on the leaderboards and lv130 gems started to appear on everyone on the top 100 leaderboards.

Good build but Tragouls Mage is still the build running the rifts the fastest on the leaderboards
Nothing against you at all, Shinobi, but I absolutely despise this build due to the long cooldowns and running around doing nothing during the cooldown. Not my idea of fun at all.
True, this build is better with alot of CDR, and there's more to it then people think once you start pushing high with it, however this build isn't for everyone "fun" wise. If fun for you is being rank 1, you'll like this. If fun for you is compelling gameplay, well then maybe not. I just made this because it's the best solo build, fun is subjective.

When your not using L.O.T.D. why would you want to spam Devour? Two-man co-op tried this and each time we went through packs we had a low amount of cp's to use for blood lance because Devour had used them up being it was on numblock. This seems to be somewhat of a problem unless your suggesting to skip every enemy except elite packs and the rift guardian. We would think you would use devour at a need to use basis. Appreciate if Shinobi would comment on this. Also, what rings, weapon, amulet, etc. for your Templar? This is being overlooked on every video I've seen on YT regarding this build. For Inarius build I was using using Bul-Kathos and Unity ring, Freeze of Deflection Shield and Eess of Johan for Amulet. Anyone with suggestions for Templar items please share.
Yes this build is topping the LBs but its extremely boring and sucks for actually playing the game. You run around scared for 60-120 sec (depending on CD) Then blow stuff up for 10secs. Im not sure how this is fun.
Realy necromancer is 15€ but I think it is noobest char in diablo3, i cant find any good necromancer build on youtube.
All noob, I just look at life bar and not any safe necromancer build :(
what about ring of the zodiak and bone armor instead of blood rush still consumes hp and is a massive increase to cool down might pair extremly well with corpse explosion
Can't really find anything out there for group necro DPS specs. Probably due to the exploits on non season. Does this have damage to be a RG killer in GR110+ ?
Seems like the easiest thing for necro is killing rift guardians, so killing a GR 110+ RG is possible, but getting to it is another matter :)
To each their own, but good lord this seems boring...very cool how far it can take you but I need more action in my life.
One thing i found really annoying about this build is that you can't break doors to go to the next area unless you pop land of the dead or take devour off num lock
How do you stay alive running around in circles around packs. White mobs literally slap me and I die
why not putting trag'oul's in cube and putting reilena's on hand? reilena's has max 40 essence but the other one got 20 only. I watched few of other ppl said that get as much as essence possible, it will benefit on this build
i explain in the video. lol. You get more cooldown for 1 and and offhand which is way more important.
Good thing injust found a primal helm to this set and a primal lost time offhand. I do think am going for the corpse exlosion version. Since u can clear both then(trash and elites) and for the rift guardian here are ways to speed that up. Its easier to clear the rift i think and then face gaurdian then to fish for elites and risk so much with all that trash around u.

What if i have a very good ancient shadowhook can i use it ? And i never found traghoul`s coroded fang ... I spent all my mats too ...
the coroded fang is a one-hand-scythe, so just use ur mats to upgrade yellow weapons of this type, u should get it within 10 trys, if u are very unlucky, like me, it will cost u 12 trys max
how to survie? easy, just play some stuff from vanilla with lifesteal =P
seeing this gameplay and having no idea about the necromancer at all. I can say one thing for sure: CDR , CDR , CDR. all the way. Gogok, Neck 8%. Every items needs to be max CDR to make this at least somehow fluid.
Also I believe there is a Land of the Dead rune that extends the duration by 2 seconds. I guess you wanna use that, too.
You don't wanna wait for your damage rotations for too long.
And yeah obviously that's not a torment speed build ;)
You won't be able to maintain Gogok.. You don't attack outside of the damage window of land of the dead, it would probably stack to 15 real quick during the window but then drop off straight after you've run out of corpses/Land of the dead.
Extending Land of the Dead rune is possible but at the expense of having them permafrozen for quick dispatch.
yeah and the freeze on land of the dead is probably mainly for krysbin.
still you get some corpses via blood rush. so i guess in theory the whole build would be better going for coe/johnstone and blast your corpses during physical rotation when land of the dead is on cooldown and time your rotation with land of the dead uptime as well.
in that case of course you can't just autocast devour. i mean you're wasting your limited corpses outside land of the dead instantly. feels like a build that really isnt polished yet ;)
might be a dumb question, but gonna ask it anyway. The wings you have on in the video, are they the necro wings and if so, how did you get them red to match the armor?

Is there any way to improve the Blood Nova build? In my opinion, it is by far the coolest and most fun playstyle, spending life, eating enemy corpses and doing huge badass AOE blood novas, but the problem is that it is nowhere near as strong as the other builds I have (Rathma pets and Inarius melee). I just want my favorite build to also be strong.
This build doesn't work with anything less than 40% CDR and It's shite with low paragon.
Worst part of the build is you have to use numlock or forfeit half your potential damage while bursting.

You have no spender for zodiac. Our spenders are very lacking for necro. :(
This build is fun, but I found this a long time ago and I didn't like that build only because you can't break doors without hurting yourself. It's funny.
Yeah, but those maps you don't do anyways when pushing. But defiantly good point.
Austin.Ink with being able to heal with blood rush and devour breaking doors has very little impact on my play
Why not use the amulet that gives you Corpse Lance damage stacks when outside of LotD based on the number of corpses you consume while in LotD? With Devour you can get 100+ stacks easily. It would give you better damage when LotD is on cooldown.
You cant use corpse lance unless you have land of the dead up. I looked at that already.
You can if you have corpses, which you get one everytime you Blood Rush. Just clear some trash using your corpses generated by Blood Rush and use that to fuel your Lances when outside of LotD.
m Douet problem is ur wasting time dancing around relying on blood rush's corpse generation and at higher levels a couple lances will not kill anything. unless ur talking in the 60-65 range which it might work, but more than likely ur stacks will fall off anyways before ur next lotd anyways. Plus the damage buff and damage reduction from eternal walk is a reliable and easy to use constant buff.
For this build you must have cooldown reduction in every piece of armor. Call it “Blood tide” or “Blood Ranger” 😄 Equip In-geom in K-cube

Good review man. It takes a bit of time to get use to. I like it. But for my primary I use path of bones. I need something to throw at the minions.

You want both but CDR is more important.

I've upgraded like 50+ yellow scythes and spent 500 souls in the cube fishing for a good one, but I haven't even seen a single ancient trag'oul's fang

Correct I use the button on the side of my mouse to act as "force move" this allows me to free up my index finger to press things while running. :)

I would use the blood golem and the corpses gloves, so you don't have to depend on the land of the dead
Russe R golem dies too often at higher gr levels and ai is dumb, but to each his own, also u sacrifice a precious ring that could be better in the cube or on ur person.
Chris Parks can't Play higher lvls because of the lags and high pings

Would Bane of the powerful be better than Zeis stone of Vengance?
FuZe Apoux no, you get an extra stun proc with zeis, and botp isn't guaranteed to be up all the time because of yellow packs
bone of the powerfull is a very high contender for gems, don't listen to this switchbeck guy, if you can't keep up bane of the powerfull with this build (which basicly kills a pack every 40seconds) you are doing something terribly wrong lol

I've been trying to tell people Tragouls has by far the most upside and potential for rift pushing but everyone, at least in NA, is obsessed with Inarius.
Most people on the official forums and reddit think it's the only set that isn't broken.
Tragouls has a horrible play style. Not sure why anyone would want to run around fishing for elites and then die to a stray arrow from a skele because he was just outside the frozen range... It's a shit build and has way too much damage and 0 defense.
The amount of damage this build takes is making me nervous for my seasonal hardcore.
It takes a little bit to get used to for sure. However, jump around pretty much on cooldown and youll keep healing back up. Also my current trag necromancer has about 1.8m health when my bonuses come into affect. You'd be surprised what you can survive.

Adrian Mak in a group u play the same, altho u will most likely be way ahead of everyone or tagging along behind a bonestorm build hoping they don't kill all ur healing sources or trash mobs, but at least then u can devour and lance to ur hearts content

1300 on non-season is actually quite average. I don't spend a lot of time paragoning. I enjoy the challenge of getting top 50 every season on every class at a disadvantage. However in this current season I'm already at 700+. With how fast you get exp now a days because of the power creeps getting to paragon 1000 takes less than a week.
Shinobi that is true about 500 atm but not playing to hardcore atm did make gr70.

I have no idea what about this screams "not a necromancer", but maybe you could be more specific instead of just vaguely complaining about how it does something *somewhat* similar to another set. Hell, perhaps you could even mention what *your* interpretation is, but heaven forbid you actually say something constructive.
Is unity required for grift pushes like this? I recently came back to diablo 3 to pick up the Necromancer, I use a variety of strong builds using a few for each different set. And most of my items are all ancient legendaries. Yet sometimes I find myself just popping instantly without any idea as to what killed me once I start getting to GR 70+. And that's with using decrepify with the dayntees belt, Aquila cuirass in the cube, and full 10-15 stack of bone armour. I don't really know what else I could do to gain more survivability or mitigation. Do you have any tips on what I might be doing wrong? I also restarted completely and have only 600 paragon. So maybe that could also be apart of the issue? I'm not the kind of person who forgets to keep up my defence abilities, nor do I stand in the red, it's often just a basic enemy that flys across the map and one shots me randomly. I don't remember ever being this weak even with only 600 paragon.
Sounds like you're using the Inarius Bonestorm build. If so, when solo cube unity instead of Kalan since it (after diminishing returns) gives the same DR as Kalan, but it's up front so you have it when you walk in the door without having to get 15 stacks of Bone Armor.
As far as getting one-shot, your toughness is probably low. How much HP/Armor/All Res do you have?
cooldown is king in this build. I'm using an ancient vigilante belt with 8% cooldown and a stone of Jordan with extra 20 essence, getting 696 max essence with simulacrum.
so you sacrifice 50% DR on belt and 50% on Unity for 8% cdr and some essence (which @20 only gives 20% damage increase, so not worth it at all). good luck clearling things in 90+ with that lol
so just wondering what would happen if we ring of royal grandeur use jesseth shield offhand and one piece of rathmas and get land of the dead triggered like crazy remove decrepit and use freeze skeletons to add in the slow to proc the krysbi s and such?
i don't think you can use just 1 piece of any set gear ( rathmas) with RoG to get 2 piece. you need at least 2 piece w/ RoG
