Danelectro FAB Metal : the CHEAPEST metal distortion pedal of all time

What do you think? Does it cut it? Does it sound heavy and brutal? Or is it a pale imitation of a proper metal guitar sound?

Sounds nice to me! Which is good because I have one... That I havn't used, because I'm mostly hoarding stuff(I got an unused FAB chorus as well)! But I'll get to it when I get bored of my usual pedals.

I think that si a mis undervalued pedal... I know that is cheap.... But i like because si very versátile

This is basically the old DOD Grunge pedal with less tweakable range. It's is 100% worth the (up to) $30. It actually is best used as a boost to a drive channel or on clean channel with a boost from a tube screamer.

@@jackpaynebassist yep, not sure 100% where it was, but it is out there the specs and how it it is the same pedal basically dumbed down.
Edit: don't mean dumbed down in a negative way.
