I’m past losing, I have lost 100% of any respect I may have had for them before. I think I am most hurt by Hed and Ice from the JBP because I truly respected both of them. The rest of the JBP I expect nothing more from but Ice has always been in my opinion sensible, his stance on this was disgraceful! Charlemagne has always put himself above what is right and panders to whoever is in front of him so I was disappointed but not surprised.
It’s not just that he feels too comfortable, it’s that he legitimately doesn’t like or respect Black people, and feels comfortable expressing that in any space.
What’s important to understand is that they were initially highlighting the glow up of a white man from the black girlfriend effect. Schits cut them off and dominated the conversation with his rhetoric. They let him run with it being goofy. Schits hates the idea of a black woman making a white man better. Not to mention these two black men were initially agreeing with that idea .
I agree. I don't know who they are, but I'm sure their mom's/aunties/sister/girl cousins feel embarrassed and give them the side eye. They have no respect for any of the black women in their lives. It's truly sad. They should have shut that down. Dude is a straight lame. Who jokes about graping another man? Pitiful
after reading what you said, i think i should watch the full podcast for clarity and concision... as much as i really, really don't want to do that right now. i find it interesting to learn that andrew had to throw a curveball just to steer the conversation away from black women being talked about in a positive light. james and fuhad have had many conversations on their own about the black girlfriend effect prior to this sad feature, that's why i definitely believe it went down like that. i'm just trying to find out why andrew chose to take it in this direction out of all the sick thoughts he could've vomited on set.
I'm very pleased to see that contrary to other media personalities you actually have a spine and said what needed to be said. I was extremely disappointed with how this topic was addressed on The Bigger Picture. This video was necessary and I'm glad you did it. You do your due diligence Jeremy, keep it up
Jeremy, I just wanna thank you for being one of the only people to come out and take a strong stance against this bullshit. It has bothered me all week. @@GoddessDawnAKATrillionDGoddess Not enough. Too many of our own ppl making piss poor attempts to defend a blatant racist. If that’s the case (in regards to Andrew) then why does no one make fun of Jewish people and does that mean that they’re seen as weaker/less than? That’s the equivalent of someone doing blackface and saying it’s ok because it’s just a joke regardless of the past racial implications.
This dude hides racism behind “comedy”. I don’t understand why taunting rape and teasing buck breaking is ok. These are painful callbacks to a historically painful past. There is no comedy in this pain. Especially coming from a white man about a culture he has no membership with. Thank you for articulating this point.

To be honest, I was more disappointed in DJ Hed for prioritizing Schulz’s right to tell jokes over speaking out against the vile, racist, and disrespectful comments made about Kendrick-his so-called homie. I lost some respect for him.
He did his show with Charlemagne and said the exact same ‘jokes’, word for word. He can ‘joke’ about graping another man, but if anyone is offended, upset or react, they’re in the wrong…

I'll admit I wasn't surprised by y'alls opinions on TBP about this topic. I was disappointed but I wasn't surprised. This video, however, did pleasantly surprise me. Thank you for saying all of this. I've seen so many MEN act like the only thing wrong with his joke was that it was weird, lazy, and unfunny. All of that is true; it's also true that he has the right to tell those types of "jokes" but that doesn't mean he is immune to criticism because they are "just jokes". Comedy is an art that is just as deserving of criticism as all the other art forms. Art impacts the way people think and it ALWAYS HAS. That is why propoganda is so effective. Comedy is especially good at changing opinions. People can use it to empower each other and they can use it to harm each other. Satire and dark humor are such fragile tighr-ropes to walk on because of the risks of things like irony poisoning. These jokes ARE harmful, not only because they directly hurt the people they target but also because they teach others HOW to treat them. No one is immune to propoganda. No one. And, yes, it IS THAT FUCKING DEEP.
As a black man myself, it's good that black men in America are silent on this .If racism is going to be talked down on and called out,it has to be done by white people. I'm a black South African man,and we know we live with them in our country too... We understand your sentiments, though.

I haven't heard anyone bring up Dave Chappelle, and what one of the reasons that he left his TV show was. The dudes behind the scenes just laughing a little too hard while filming. Also go back to when Joe "not a comedian" Rogan was talking to Dave "actual comedian" Chappelle about what Andrew Shultz does and what the differences are, it's very telling. Low tier middle school comedy unfortunately might be here to stay in the Maga filled billionaire owned corporation that we call U.S.A. 💀🇺🇸💀. Great analysis Jeremy!
Maga is anti establishment. The democrats are the ones in bed with corrupt billionaires pushing extreme leftism. Hence George Soros. I do agree with the sentiment of hiding racism behind "comedy" though. There's a diff between race jokes and racist rhetoric.

The fact he said on the Podcast with Charlemagne he’s a Trump supporter and if pressed he will make the call to the feds if he has too. Let’s me know he knows exactly what he’s doing. He feels like he can say whatever he wants and he’s protected.
Strange how these comedians are so quick to call out people for being "woke" "politically correct" or "snowflakes" when people have a negative reaction to a "joke". They claim that people are so sensitive and soft but its all just projection. These comedians are such sensitive snowflakes that they all crash out when they fall flat with a joke. All they have to do is take responsibility something among the lines of "it was a joke I obviously don't have an issue with black woman" boom then head to the next joke. That is if he doesn't have a issue with black woman which seems a whole lot more likely when he goes straight for the masculinity of a black man.
Thank you so much for not playing the clip. Been interested in hearing what people have to say, but the actual content is hella triggering to hear over and over again on everybody's channel, so you're a real one for recognizing that. I agree not enough people are standing on how bad this is and that includes DJ Hed. I was so disappointed by his take on The Bigger Picture today and I think his and Kendrick’s relationship will suffer because of it
I was highly disappointed with the "safe" conversation on Bigger Picture. I hope you will challenge your cohosts to think more deeply about this situation and speak out. Not just Schulz's response to Kendrick, but the motivating segment making fun of Black women. This isn't just jokes, and taking a stance of "until it effects me directly, say what you want" is deeply troubling and dangerous. Thanks for making this video.
I’m a big fan of standup comedy. I’ve met these people and used to be a fan of Joe Rogan, Chris Delia, Shultz, Theo etc. Ive taken pics and posted on my socials which I’m now embarrassed of. I subbed and have listened to all their podcasts. This year changed so much. I’ve lost respect for a lot of these guys and no longer can ignore their ignorance. When someone disagrees with them or thinks they’re not funny they weaponize their “anti-wokeness,” claiming the woke is sensitive and don’t get the jokes. It’s not even about that. I swear they’re playing dumb and just trying to get a pass for their failed humor and lazy joke telling.
Jeremy Hecht let me say this, I don’t watch “the bigger picture” BUT whenever I see u doing content on your own or a collab w/ Justin Hunte & others, I always tune in. You have such a kind, genuine spirit. I’m almost tapped out on these negative, mean spirited podcasts that u can tell are only meant 2 generate views & conversations. There is a protected group of ppl you can’t make jokes, comments or stating facts about. We all know who that group of people are. You saying anything about THAT group and you will be called “anti--“ you will have your career threatened, be made to apologize and have to meet with some rabbis and donate a sum to their organization. There is no such consequences when it comes to black women and men. Like what happened with Kyrie Irving, Nick Cannon, Jamie Foxx…just to name a few.
Thank you so much for not playing the clip. When i watch videos on it, ive started taking ou my headphones for that portion just to get to te critique.
I feel like its fair to say that Andrew wasn't even trying to be funny. His goal with this was to be the most demeaning and vile as he could of been. I love edgy jokes but the goal should be to "try" to be funny. This wasn't a joke it was just hate.
Thank you so much for this Jeremy. it’s been so disappointing to watch folks dance around this topic. Also if you happen to see my comment, you should know that DJ Hed uses “nomenclature” incorrectly 😂.
Thanks Jeremy for being in this Hip Hop space because this has exposed the black sellouts like Charlemagne and other platforms whose money has been made on the backs of Kendrick and Drake. Kendrick Lamar is the Greatest in the game now.
0:50 I don't even think it's comfort. I think it's malicious. I can't imagine him doing something similar to his colleagues who share his demographic. Like can you imagine he made an elaborate r@pe fantasy about Bill Burr? It's much worse than getting too comfortable in a place you are a guest at.
Thank you Jeremy. Maybe taking a little time b4 doing this was a good thing, because imo, it was pitch perfect. And as a Blk woman, I very much appreciated your sincerity.🙏
Râpé is not funny, and as a brit, I'm used to the dry humour. Râpé isn't a joke, regardless of the gender. Threatening râpé on kendrick in such a descriptive manner, was disturbing and made me feel physically sick 🤮.
Once I heard the “joke” I was immediately offended and disgusted. It’s amazing that the first response their mind goes to is assault. I think it’s coming since the one thing you don’t joke about is sexual assault. I think Kendrick understands it’s a joke, which is why he addressed the people AROUND HIM. Saying yeah he can say what he wants, but it’s then on YOU to respond with saying what you want! When he’s portraying black woman as aggressive and abusive push back and say that’s actually they’re not. Don’t laugh and encourage his false narratives.
Kendrick was speaking directly to his demographic, BM. He was never addressing the comedians. For them to place themselves in the middle of a CLOSED conversation speaks volumes.
Kendrick was actually pulling the coats (admonishing) the black guys who did not check Schulz... before and after the incident. Schulz doubling back to emasculate Kendrick wasn't a surprise. He's just showing who he really is.
Appreciate you Jeremy!Shultz has now doubled down with his man Charlemagne who cosigns this degradation..lets me know that these two are not for the people, and should not be the voices of our culture. Ironically both of them have weird cases, echoing predators do run flocks, and will stand together behind the veil of comedic license. Let the consequences reign!😒
As a black woman who loves comedy and a person who doesn’t offend easily. It wasn’t a joke it wasn’t funny… but I would love to talk to dude face to face. See if he keeps that same energy… cause I got jokes too
I wish this had been mentioned during the Bigger Picture, but I understand that timing and the presence of others can sometimes throw off the message, making it easy to get lost in the conversation. I really appreciate you taking the time to make your video to share your thoughts. Much respect.
As an African American man, what Andrew said was disrespectful. I grew up and live down south, and we don’t play crap like that said. Also, I’ve never liked Andrew Schultz for many years. I don’t find him funny, I don’t find him to be a good comedian at all, and I don’t respect people like him. He’s just corny plain and simple. Race jokes can be done tastefully, I love em tbh, but what he said wasn’t a joke, it was a sinister threat.
The bull took a singular problem with one black man and spun it into a problem with a majority of black men……. Play stupid games and you win stupid prizes
I appreciate Jeremy Hecht so much this season. I was so disappointed in all the Black men who didn’t stand on holding ol boy accountable. Sad that the non black men in the community are the ones who stood up while the Black men with the huge platforms made excuses. It’s been a huge display of power by Schultz and apparently he’s right on the money with power he wields over OUR space.
Thank you for voicing a more nuanced stance. My takeaway from what Hed said on the show is he doesn’t co-sign it, but hope he’s prepared to back it up bc there will be consequences, he will be called to task. But beyond respecting ppls rights to be dicks, it is important to highlight the dark underbelly of this joke and the racist comments towards ppl
Comedian who claims everything should be on the table got offended by a line in a song, that never mentioned him, and on further inspection wouldn't have actually been directed HIM, but at the two men who sat and laughed at his joke, threatens to SA someone over words in a song. I thought only the woke got unnecessarily offended
My granny said, "Jeremy, I'm an OG from the Yay and I've watched you and The Professor as guest on the panel with Curtis King and others and I've always admired how you sit back, listen, learn, and bring thought that can only be respected as "the white guy who knows his shat". . . . .thank you for knowing your shat among the Black, Brown, and Hip-Hop culture. Thank you for speaking truth in the midst of a weird time in America. Thank you for being a man of HUMANITY who gets UNITY."
This is highly appreciated Jeremy, the response from not only you guys on your platform but so many others has been disappointingly interesting and saddening. This addendum video was a great idea!
💯Thanks for speaking up. Alot of black men won't even do this and are exposing their disdain and lack of respect for their own ppl. I'm glad ppl are exposing themselves but it's also sad and embarrassing to witness. 😮💨
The fact Andrew threw himself into the beef is outrageous to me. KDot didn’t mention anyone’s name. All hit dogs will holler. Andrew throw rocks and hide hands
I want to give him the benefit of the doubt t but the fact that he couldn't even understand that Token from South Park is making fun of the shows who add a black person to fill a quota is crazy

obviously we're going to pump the brakes and disassociate ourselves from their spaces once we clock what's really happening and what type of person somebody is behind the persona. conversely, jeremy's old opinions might've been influenced by being exposed to the same narrative over and over. it happens. social media will do that to you whether you like it or not. isn't it better to cheer somebody on when they finally get rid of that influence?
Thank you! I’m losing respect for anyone who tries to defend that man
Sound from Club Ambition has been letting himself down all week. They so clearly want those right wing endorsements What's The Dirt, Andrew Schulz and DJ Akademiks get.
Albeit he voted against Trump thankfully.
he is a out in the open blatantly racist. he called black women crazy, unstable and violent in contrast to white women middle conversation. it wasn't a joke. no black women found that sht funny at all, that was racist af, and dude continued to double triple down and make r*pe jokes about kendrick. he is the man in the plantation, this dude is german and his living like ancestors who actually r*ped people from the cultures and races they ostracized. another colonizer out in the open.
Exactly! That's the bottom line. He doesn't like or respect blk people and he uses the rules of comedy to obscure that fact.
He hates us! I’ve been saying this since before all this- he has such disdain for Black people and is resentful of Black success.
Pitiful
“Schulz” you mean? You comment could be confusing given a key player in that convo is the Schitsandgigs duo
after reading what you said, i think i should watch the full podcast for clarity and concision... as much as i really, really don't want to do that right now. i find it interesting to learn that andrew had to throw a curveball just to steer the conversation away from black women being talked about in a positive light. james and fuhad have had many conversations on their own about the black girlfriend effect prior to this sad feature, that's why i definitely believe it went down like that. i'm just trying to find out why andrew chose to take it in this direction out of all the sick thoughts he could've vomited on set.
I'm very pleased to see that contrary to other media personalities you actually have a spine and said what needed to be said. I was extremely disappointed with how this topic was addressed on The Bigger Picture. This video was necessary and I'm glad you did it. You do your due diligence Jeremy, keep it up
Thank you, I was dissapointed that I didn't hold stronger on my take today. This is how I truly feel and thanks for watching

Jeremy, I just wanna thank you for being one of the only people to come out and take a strong stance against this bullshit.
It has bothered me all week. Not only the comments, but as you said, the context and demeanour with which Andrew was operating in. It was fucking gross.
I appreciate you as a fellow white guy who is a fan of this culture and wants to stand for the right things. Respect 🙏

If that’s the case (in regards to Andrew) then why does no one make fun of Jewish people and does that mean that they’re seen as weaker/less than? That’s the equivalent of someone doing blackface and saying it’s ok because it’s just a joke regardless of the past racial implications.

Dude, there is an audio clip of Charlemagne telling Andrew Schulz a story about how Charlemagne (imo) took advantage of a black out drunk woman. It was a disgusting story

I had very little respect for him before this, but at this point, he a whole opp to our people as far as Im concerned.
